-The massive male huffed as his body settled ungracefully across the scrubby grasses of the savvanah. Claws sinking into the already partly mangled corpse of a wildebeast, Ahai sank his teeth into his lunch, taking a moment to savor the quiet.
Ears swiveling and eyes turning, he checked back the way he'd come one last time, shifting comfortably in his position when the path remained clear. Apparently those little leaches had already had their fill. Or perhaps his threats had actually hit home for once? Nahh.. not likely. He'd dragged the beast and those damn cubs along for a good while without them relenting.
Pulling slow bite after slow bite, Ahai reflected proudly upon the activities of the past days and weeks. Sure he was tired, and his muscles ached, and those little ones seemed far to small to be anything worth something. And yet... The spark of attitude, the small bits of potential that gleamed through the rough training trips... truely it hadn't been a mistake, deciding to stay and train them. To train alongside her.
He paused, smirk crossing his face. Speaking of her, why was he the one out hunting? Perhaps he'd have to tell her about woman's work next time he saw her. If the prideland mothers could go out hunting for their cubs, certainly she should be capable of it.-

In truth Chamchela HAD been trying to hunt, but it so happened that something had gotten in the way of that.
Task done, she'd returned back to the little strip of turf that the pair had taken to calling their own for the time being. Who knew being a patron goddess could be so inconvenient?
"Ahai? Where the hell did he get off to...?" Elly growled, scanning the area for the blue male with no luck. Where HAD he gotten off to? The cubs were nearby, she could scent them, but no sign of their father.
Chamchela grumbled a bit and set off to see what their children were up to first, snapping her wings once before tucking them to her sides. He was definitely going to hear about it if he was slacking off on watching the kids.

((The trail of blood from dragging that food might be a good clue ;D rofl ))
-As he tore another piece from the carcass with a jerk, his mind drifted off to where Elly might be actually, it was strange having those sort of thoughts about anyone other than his brother. Especially considering how capable she was in most occassions. Nonetheless his mind drifted, blood tipped maw smirking as he thought of how easy it SHOULD be to find her. Goodness knew she blew those little wind traps of hers all over the place when she got flustered.
Half heartedly looking his eyes turned back towards the homestead, searching for any sign of her or the children.-
-Ohhhhh... his goddess senses were tinglingggg! Okay... so it could have been a god to, but Lim never was the sort to discriminate by sex. Feeling the soft tug of a nearby immortal, he shifted his path in the breeze, cutting across until he found another stream of warm air traveling the direction he wanted, eyes locked below him.
It'd been a little while since he'd visited another god, well.. other than Sheba, and his curiousity was perked. Would it be one he knew, a meeting with an old friend... or perhaps someone completely new to charm? Silver eyes watching softly for the sign of wings, his excitement bubbled within him. So easily amused.-

((True that! biggrin ))
It was then that the trail of blood caught her nose. The goddess straightened from her scanning, but then at the same time another new presence caught her attention. Lifting her eyes skyward with a light growl, Chamchela wondered who the hell that was. If it wasn't Mrost or Ukali she really had no interest in interacting with any gods today. Her mother, siblings, or grandmother may or may not be tolerated, for that matter, but as of yet she was usually on edge about other immortals. She hadn't met many in her lifetime after all, seeing no need to.
For the time being she had haulted in her tracks, glowering up at the sky with her own wings half folded at her sides as if prepared to take flight at a moment's notice, but that was far from the truth.

-It took him a few minutes to find the source, drawing in nearer to the ground when finally he located her position, admiring the beautiful earthy brown that he could make out, still rather uncertain of the gender or disposition and domain of his find. He could make out a muscular build the nearer he got.. and was that a half mane? So it must be male.. and for some reason the figure tingled with mild familiarity.
Still floating through the air, he flayed out his feathers in a display most regal and beautiful, though hardly useful as it killed his streamlined travel, slowing him further. And doning the ever present smile brightly he called out lightly.- "Hello down there!"

What the--?
She scanned the sky again with wine colored eyes, this time not stopping until she'd spotted him and could get a good look. He was colored a softer, paler shade of her grandmother's lilac, and boy did he look flashy, even from there. As he drew closer still, fanning like a bird doing a mating dance, Elly eyed him with a quirked brow as if to ask "Who the **** are you?".
... So she did. Verbally.
"Who the f*** are you, and what do you want?"

-Ahhh yes... the head turned, his silver eyes dug further to eat in the god's features. It was definately a girl now he could see, a bit punkier and gruffer then he usually went after, but heck, he wasn't one to discriminate. Oh no.. in fact she'd probably be a bit of fun, and certainly not shy...
His paws were close to the ground now, his mind already dawdling past the realm of 'decent' thoughts when her voice hit him like a mountain side.
Well wasn't THAT darling? His eyes widened momentarily, not really sure what to think about the outburst. But perhaps it was just a bad day and she needed cheering up, and his face returned to normal, words oozing with charm.- "I'm sorry if I startled you. Limbuko, God of Pleasure."
-His ear twitched, eyes gazing upwards for a moment. He'd swore he heard her. Ughh.. hopefully he wasn't imagining s**t like that. If ever he got that sappy, may lightning strike him down.
He sat up a little more nonetheless, ears turning towards the wind to see it had indeed been her, since clearly he could not see her.-

He had been surprised by that greeting. Good. She had only ever had a weak spot for her little sister and mother, and sometimes her stepfather, the only ones she'd ever greet anything less than rudely.
"No. You didn't startle me. I think I would've noticed you coming from a mile away." She snorted, very un-lady like. Would she be Elly if she was any other way, though? "Chamchela. Well, Lim, what do you want? Can I help you with something?"
Though it was doubtful if she actually WOULD depending on what it was.

-He had enough practice at keeping composed to hide the internal reeling of his mind. So while his brain balked, his smile remained untouched, settling to the ground as he let his feathers fall back some. Obviously the little 'darling' wasn't so impressed with them. - "I am quite bright, I must admit."
-Hmmm... could he even play a part that she would like he wondered? He was always up for a challenge he supposed, it was like a game. He just needed to fish a little first, voice sounding innocently.- "I'd just felt another god around... kind of hoped for some company." -Eyeing her once more now that he was a bit closer he added mildly.- "What domain is it that you watch over Chamchela?"

"Yes. You certainly are." She agreed, yawning then, and seeming to relax at least a little with that. Limbuko, huh? Pleasure. Interesting draw of the lot of domains. Pleasure. ~Maybe he could teach Ahai a thing or two.~
She grinned at her own mental joke, briefly, then her face straightened again. She'd only known a few gods to possess domains in the "mental" realm. Her mother, her sister, Mrost, on or two others. She preferred something tangible, no doubt because she wasn't the most patient lioness around.
To prove this her tail lashed silently behind her as she regarded him now, considerably less "angry" or grumpy, but still not interested-- at least not showing it.
"I control tornadoes." She answered, smirking a little, but not feeling in a braggart's mood for once.

-Her gruffness, the slight attitude, the nonchalance towards him... if he had to guess.. ego stroking would probably be his best way at this one. Should he decide he wanted to hang around for awhile.
Shifting momentarily on his paw, he stood up straight and regal once more. He had wanted company, and while perhaps he'd been expecting a bit of cuddely lovey dovey company a game now and then could be fun. And besides.. he couldn't seem to knock away the vague feeling of familiarity...
Letting his grin slide to something a little more playful, he took a brave step forward, musing.- "Tornadoes huh? How exciting. And dangerous.."
"You look like quite the competent lioness, I bet you can do some amazing things, hmm?"
-He could swear he heard her... just the lightest faintest sound on the wind. And now it was beginning to annoy him. It had better NOT be his damned imagination. Refused to believe it might be.
Disreguarding the remains of his prey, Ahai stood, ears perking upward as he began his trip towards the wind, and back towards the place he'd been calling his home.-

Right on the mark, he had her pegged! Though she didn't feel like carrying her usual boastful attitude at the moment she was ALWAYS in the mood have her ego's ever raging flames stoked. She ruffled her wings a bit, trying not to appear phased by the suggested compliment.
"Yeah, well, I'd be you could do some pretty amazing things too with a domain like that."
She snerked, not at all caring that the joke was completely suggestive. It was meant to be, after all, though she wouldn't say she was flirting-- that was just her personality. Blurt things out now, think about them later............................... maybe.
She could feel a mortal starting to move closer, assumed it to be Ahai since she was near home, and wondered idly what he'd think if he came upon the scene. What indeed...?

-The pleasant response clued him in that he was heading the right direction, and inwardly he beamed. Really it was just a part of his domain... being able to read people.. having a tongue of silver that usually found words perfect for the situation. But that didn't make him any less proud of himself.
Brows cocking in soft amusement at her comment, he laughed a little, teasing back.- "Well you know what they say. Show me yours and I'll show you mine."

Elly smirked, the look rather wicked.
"Are you really sure you want to ask me to do that...? Things tend to get pretty wild when I cut loose you know..."
Though, er, she was actually just talking about her own domain, she hadn't stopped to think that it could be taken the other way around, honestly.
... Even though that was true too.

-He could smell her now, that familar and often tempting scent. It was strong and clean, a clear sign that she'd been in the area relatively recently. It was possible she could have gotten far off, she did have wings after all, but he continued on anyway.-
-Lim was a naughty boy, and that's where his mind traveled, quite amused and interest aroused by her statement. It didn't occur to him that she wasn't flirting, but even though it was the case, it was unlikely he'd be dissapointed. He was easily amused after all.
Purring as his smile strengthened, tail flicking back and forth, he baited her more.- "I'm quite a fan of wild. Gotta play with the fire unless you want to grow cold and tired."
