Kuuki sat in the snow, looking around egarly for someone whom he knew. His children had already grown up, and he hadn't seen his mate in the longest time. Neither had most of his children, and thankfully none of them held any grudges for that. Though, if they were to have more children, there would be no telling to how they would react if one of their parents weren't around. He was hoping to see Aderyn again so that they could hopefully find a home.

Aderyn had been missing for a while, and it wasn't anyone's fault by her own. She'd gone back to her island and might have stuck around longer then she should have. She really just needed to get back to her roots, but now she was anxious to see her family.
She was afraid none of them would forgive her. What would they say about her being gone for such a long time? She soared though the sky, trying to ignore the negative answers that she was afraid to be confronted with. Sh couldn't stand losing any of them. So she picked up her pace until sh finally spotted a familiar fellow.
"Kukki!!" She called to him, he probably wouldn't be able to hear her from her height, but she began her decent and landed just a few fet behind him. She was too terrified to say anything to him though, too worried about his reaction.

Kukki's ears twitched as he thought he heard a voice. A familiar voice. One that he had not heard in the longest time. He turned around just in time to see Aderyn land by him, gracefully as she had seemingly so long ago. He looked at her, and he smiled at her, and he leaned foreward into her to give her a kiss on the cheek. "I missed you Aderyn..."

"Kukki, I'm so sorry...I letmyself get carried away and...well...I'm just really sorry!" Aderyn kept the tears from escaping her yes, but she obviously was sorry about her actions. She nuzzles against him and then gave him another kiss. She'd missed him, and now she realized just how much she had.

Kukki laughed lightly, holding in his own tears as he pulled her into a hug, letting her familiar flames lick against his fur. "It's okay, I just wished you would have told me before."

"And I'm sorry I didn't. I had to leave and I just...I really didn't have time to think." Aderyn finally released him and put on a small smile. "But enough about that...where do we go from here?"

"I told you it's okay." He smiled widely at her. "You're here now, you've come back. That's all that matters." He held on to her paws gently, but as though he'd never get to hold them agian if he let go. "I was hoping we could find a place to live incase we were to... you know..." He blushed and smiled in a goofy way only he could pull off. "...have more kits."

Aderyn's face went red at the thought of more kids to love and care for. She would love nothing more then that. Kukki should have known that more then anyone. "Oh of course Kukki! We need a place to settle down and just...relax!" Aderyn held Kukki's paw, she wanted him just as much as he wanted her.

Kukki laughed and smiled. He was glad that he had been right about the settling down. And this way, when they did have more kits, they would get to see their mommy and daddy every day of their lives, not just on a special occasion. "Yep! Now, is there anywhere that you know of that we could live? My human's home is already so full of families that it can be really crowded at times. I think it might be better to raise them away from tons of people, expecially if more turn out like Jasper."

Adreyn giggled a bit. Jasper was just like his father, well, Cookie wise, he was just like his father. Other then that, she didn't really see him often. He was always running around and moving form place to place. "Definitely a good idea. Maybe...a tree house kind of home?" Se smiled, trying to think up her idea that was already forming in her mind.

Kuuki pondered the idea, seemed like it could be cool. The ones that ended up taking after their mother, wing wise, coud live on the higher part of the house. And the others could live as close to ground, or as far away from it, as they wanted. "That sounds like a good idea! Is there any area you'd prefer to build it in? If not we can just wander around until we see one we like."

"Well, I'd like a rather large tree, with a hallow base for the kids that don't quite take after me. And I want plenty of spacious branches up top." Adreyn could picture their home, but the challenge would be finding it.

Kuuki nodded. "Like one of those big African trees?" he looked around. "If we go to a safari-like area, I bet you we could find somethign like it." He giggled and pulled on her paw towards the edge of the forest. "Come on! Lets go find our home!"

Adreyn had a faster way of searching for their home. "Hold on please!" She warned, as she flew up, and came down, wrapping her arms around his waist and she lifted off again. "Let me know when you see something!" She smiled and soared off into the forest.

Kukki gasped in delight as she picked him up off the ground, happily feelign the wind run through his fur. He looked around the ground and watched the trees disappear from under him and turn into seas of grass. Finally he pointed down. "I think I see one!"
