Hello, i have a black arowana which is the first fish i got and now that it is larger it is starting to develop discoloration on its back, does anyone know how to tell whether my arowana is an XB or if it is sick?

how big is your tank and how big is the fish? i know with bigger fish in smaller tanks, the water quality will fail and the fish will get sick real quick
and a pic would be helpful if you can get one :3
i dunno why people sell arrowanas D: they get entirely too big imo
