Ive noticed everyone seems to call him Xelloss Metallium. But no where do i recal him being referd to as that in the series. And in all oficail papers his names is alway just "xelloss" even when the rest of the charaters last names are listed. I realize Metallium is the name of his master, but he himself doesnt seem to have taken it.

That's because people are a little dumb (nothing personal to anyone who might read this... Oh screw it! I'm a mazoku! POO ON YOU ALL!), Xelloss has no last name. We have no families, I'm suprised Lord Beastmaster has a last name! Well, I'm not really sure what I'm babbling about but the point is I agree, Metallium isn't his last name.
Yes, I do pretend to me a mazoku even in real life...
Brother: *mindlessly watching Angel* Man, I wish I could fly...
Deshi: I can.
Brother: Oh really?
Deshi: I can teleport too.

Just a side note...
Metallium ish -not- Zelas' last name... It's like saying me lastname ish Genki... sweatdrop it's just another part of her name, so if you wanna take it as a middle name (although there's no end to it), that's fine. but remember, Metallium ish -not- Juu ou sama's last name! and it's not part of Xelly's name neither, of course. biggrin
Advise: Don't think of anything in Anime the American way... even if they appear all Western, like Slayers does. 3nodding

Hmm, I think it's because Xellos Matillium sounds cool. eek I myself know, for a fact it is NOT his last name, yet I use it in my Fanfics on occation.... Just because I can.

metallium is an invention from fans..ther is a rumor about a true japanese last name for xelloss, ust come and see slayersfan.com for the rumor/info....but the guy (username: Xelloss) won't tell his secret so easily lol
