Latte snoozed gently in a corner in the small den he and Yuri shared, blinking as a ray of sunlight settled on his eyelids. Yawning, he pulled himself up to a sitting position and looked around, his eyes immediately settling onto his love, Yuri. She looked so peaceful when she slept, and he smiled to himself. Walking a bit closer to her, he gently nudged her shoulder. "Good morning, love," he murmured into her ear.
Keiichi rolled over, lost in his dreams of flying kimchee and honorable knights saving princesses locked up high in towers. He bumped into his sister, Tsukiko, but he merely continued to sleep.

Yuri was sleeping in her cave, near her wonderful family. It had seemed like just yesterday they had ran off, only to be caught. Everything seemed to have gotten so much better since then, she could hardly believe it. She yawned as she was nudged, still not quite used to being awake during the day.Tsukiko yelped lightly as she was hit by her brother, who seemed to still be asleep. She growled lightly before smiling and biting his ear.

Latte smiled down at Yuri, his mind racing through the childhood they had spent together. But now since they had children of their own, he thought that it would be a wonderful idea to take the whole family out for a walk, considering they hadn't really been outside much.
Keiichi sleepily opened one eye and looked up into the face of his sister, contemplating on whether to ignore her competely and go back to sleep or to bite back. Seeing that half his family was already awake, he decided to go with the second option. He playfully rolled so he could get a good shot at her tail, and nibbled on it.

Yuri slowly stood up and stretched, looking down at the kits with a soft smile before looking up at Latte. She nuzzled him softly.
Tsukiko growled more the nibble, before flipping over to give her just enough time to pounce him. She still continued to gnaw on his ear.

Latte nuzzled back, relieved to see that Yuri was alright after the birth of their children. "Would you like to come with me to the streamside today, with the kits?" he asked her gently.
Keiichi flailed as he was pounced, but recovered and skittered away before she had more time to gnaw on his ears. "Momma! Pappa!" He rushed towards them, flying into his mother.

Yuri continued to smile and nodded slowly. "That would be nice" She turned her head just in time to see a little red ball of fur names Keiichi run into her. She lightly pet his head. "Yes Keiichi?"
Tsukiko pouted as Keiichi ran away, but was quick to follow him. She pounced into her father instead though.

"Ow!" Latte playfully swatted at his daughter, before laying down to let her play. "How would you like to visit the stream, Tsukiko?"
"I loves my mama!" Keiichi buried his head in her fur, purring enormously.

Yuri smiled and nuzzled Keiichi. "And I love my Keiichi"
Tsukiko laughed and pawed at her dad, before cocking her head to the side. "The stream?"

Latte grinned, pleased to see that Tsukiko was taking an interest in the outside world. "Yes, the stream. It's a small body of water that flows through the forest. It's really pretty there."
Keiichi swung around so he was on his mother's back, and peered over her head to look at his father and sister. "Skweem?"

Yuri smiled and beant foreward so that Keiichi was closer to the ground. She nodded. "Yes, stream"
Tsukiko smiled. "Cool! Can we go?"

"Alright, shall we leave now?" Latte gestured toward the cave entrance, where shafts of sunlight danced across the mossy floor. "It's not very far, so we'll be there very soon."
Keiichi hopped off his mother's back with agility, and landed carefully on the tips of his paws. "Skweem!" He ran around excitedly in circles, nearly crashing into Tsukiko.

Yuri nodded. "That might be best." She stood up and stretched some, before turning to see if her kits and Latte were ready to head out.
Tsukiko pounced back just in time to dodge her brother. She looked at her mother stand up, and quickly ran over to her. "Go now?"

Latte smiled at his frolicsome kits, giving Yuri a quick lick on the cheek before heading out into the sunlight. "Follow me," he told his family.
Recovering from his circles, Keiichi trotted forward after his father to follow him outside to the forest. "Kyuu," he purred as he waited for his sister and mother to come.

Yuri hesitated a moment to look back at her kits before following after Latte.
Tsukiko squealled happily before running over to her brother. "Stream!"

"Everyone ready?" He set off at a slow pace so that the kits could catch up easily, and headed into the forest, where birdcalls flew threw the air and made a beautiful and complex melody.
Keiichi playfully swatted at Tsukiko's tail for fun, then scampered off before she could retaliate. "Catch me if you can!"
