A few days ago I had the chance of reading this wonderful book by Randy Alcorn, called "The Grace and Truth Paradox." The book taught me a lot of things, but there's a specific part that I want to share with you guys:

"The grace and the truth characterize the similitude to Jesus Christ (John 1:14). [...] If we fail the test of grace, we are not like Jesus. If we fail the test of truth, we are not like Jesus. If we pass both tests, then we are like Jesus. [...]Christians oriented to the truth like Theology and to study the Scriptures. But sometimes they make quick judgments and forgive slowly. [...] Christians oriented to grace like forgiveness and freedom. But sometimes they neglect the study of the Scriptures, and consider moral norms as legalism.

[...] Any concept of grace that makes us feel more comfortable with sinning, has nothing to do with Biblical grace. The grace of God never teaches us to live in sin. On the contrary, it gives us power to deny ourselves to sin, and to embrace the truth. [...] Truth hates the sin. Grace loves the sinner. Those who are full of grace and truth, make both things."

Blessings!
