[Continued from Envy/Humility encounter found in Vola's DF journal]
Patience stumbled through the undergrowth looking for fruit. She came out onto a small clearing and heard something, "What could that be?" she murmured to herself as she crept up closer to the sound. She saw a small dragonfly, probably around her age crying quietly to him or herself. She walked up timidly to the distressed one and asked, "Why are you crying?"

She sobbed quietly, her paws pressed firmly together. Hearing the noise of something coming out of the growth behind her, she perked up. Seeing another pup like her own, she could not help to be friendly. It was her manner afterall. She gave the blue pup a sad hello. "Ah....n-nothing is wrong...e-except I made my f-food explode." She didn't think it was important at first to explain the whole thing. It was just a small fruit. Which was very interesting. Humility loosened the pressure on her paws and slowly opened them to show the fruit that had been squished in her hands.

She tipped her head to the side, staring at the mess in the other pup's paws. "Well...you could always get a new one...there should be many around here." She walked up to a small pile of fruit, taking one and giving it to the pup. "See. Now you have another one you can enjoy." Patience said slowly and smiled. She wanted to make this pup happy again.

Seeing another fruit enter her sticky paws, she looked up and smiled before looking back at the ground. "Yes....t-thank you." She commented, forgetting she made the piles of fruit in the first place. "You are a very nice dragonfly...much nicer than me...." She frowned. "and that other one..." She glanced into the direction that the green pup strolled away. Humility realized she had never asked the pup's name, scratch that, both of the pups names. Turning back to her current acquaintance, she stood up and offered a small paw. "I never got to ask your name. What is it?"

Patience plopped down, "My name is Patience. What's yours?" she smiled, feeling proud that she made the other one a little more happier. "'Other one', what?" she asked curiously. Maybe that was why she was so sad...this thing must be why. She nodded to herself. Yeah, that was why! "What happened?" She decided to get to the bottom of this.

"Ah..." she trailed off. "...you have a wonderful name..much much better than mine..." She turned to the side. "Mine's Humility" She had wondered why this pup was trying so hard to help her. She tilted her small head. "..w-why are you helping me? I'm not worth the trouble!" She cried. "I'm sorry for troubling you!" Getting up, she ran into the direction Envy had previously exited to. "I'm not worth the trouble!" She yelled as she continued to run as far as her little legs would take her.

Patience was startled by the other pup's modesty. "Thank you?" she said, wondering why the pup was so modest. She ran after the retreating pup, yelling after her, "Wait! Wait! Why are you running away?" why was this pup so jittery?

Humility scrambled away from the other dragonfly before plopping herself down onto the cool grass. "Oh...I-Im s-so sorry...," she mumbled to herself, totally exhausted. Her tendency to fleeing after having time 'wasted' on her made her upset. "Maybe I shouldn't have r-ran," she questioned before shaking her head to keep herself focused. She looked behind her for a moment to see if Patience was persuing her. Unable to tell, she stayed prone in her current place.

Patience ran as fast as she can to catch up to the pup, stumbling over the small twigs and vines. She finally reached the opening shaking off the leaves and twigs that had been stuck to her hair. Panting, she collapsed next to Humility, "Why did you run so fast?" she demanded.

Humility gasped. 'I didn't want to be found!' "Leave m-me alone! I don't want to bother you! Let me be at peace!" She screeched. Her mind kept on telling her she was a burden to this pup and with so she attempted to scramble away, until she hit into something else. She quickly paled at the sight.
Envy scowled. Staring at the small lizard that had scuttled away from her small jaws. Fruit wasn't an option and small animals were things she could not catch. How the hell was she supposed to obtain her goal?
Dragging her feet out of a lack of energy, she finally sighed and plopped down. She squinted side to side to see if anyone was watching her. Glancing down at the dirt, she began to draw morbid pictures of fire and bones. Not long after, she found her pictures scratched away and a body she reconized next to her. Envy sneered. "So...we meet again?" she commented looking at the pup before her. Noticing Patience, she gave her a dull stare. "Now who the hell are you?"

"B-but! You look like you need help!" Patience called after her. "I want to help you!" she skidded to a halt, almost nose to tail with Humility's rump. She stood up and was surprised to hear a sharp tone. It was a green dragonfly...another pup. "Me? I'm Patience..." she said cautiously, "And who are you?" Patience pointed at Humility, "I was looking for her..."
