Did I do anything special today? Ummm...
I cleaned my room, listened to Dreamgirls, polished my spoon collection with CEL (my sis) [the polish looked like light melted chocolate], and went to Green Mill for supper with Mom, Dad, brother, sis CEL, Gramma, and Boppa (my Grandpa). We then came back and had pie (but I didn't because I was full). I opened gifts before my grandparents left and then I read another few chapters of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
That was it.... Not the most special and amazing day ever. I should have told them that I wanted to go bowling. sweatdrop But, that's my life. whee 22. ~Margem

Well, ya see... we've had three sets of grandparents: my mom's parents and my dad's parents (dad/step-mom, mom/step-dad). His parents divorced a while ago... maybe before I was born? Anyways, when I was young, all three of the sets lived in our state (about 1 hour away from us, maximum) and I kept getting confused about who we were going to visit. So, I came up with a way to remember them - different names.
There's Gramma B. and Boppa (Mom's parents). There's Gramma H. and Grampa H. (Dad's Mom and Step-dad). There's Grammy and Grampy (Dad's Dad and Step-mom).
Of course, not all of them live in the same state that we do anymore nor are all of them living (Grampy died about 2 years ago). But still, which grandma? Gramma B. or Gramma H. or Grammy? xD
Yup! (And the whole "Boppa" thing caught on with my cousins, since I was the oldest, of course. I guess I was trying to say "Poppa" like my cousin did for his grandpa.) ~Margem
[ Gramma B. and Gramma H.'s names have been abbreviated for sanity's and safety's sake, since they go along with their last names. ]
