Everything is pink. The whole screen is pink. Not that I don't like pink or anything, but I would be a lot happier if the screen... wasn't pink. I'm not sure if it's a virus or if the laptop is just old or something. Anyone have any ideas? gonk

Well, I found out that it only happens when the screen is tilted a certain way. So it's obviously the oldness of the laptop... right? I really don't want to have to buy my boss a new laptop on top of everything else. gonk

I don't know anything about laptops, but I am guessing the RGB cables (Or whatever hooks the monitor up with the MoBo) isnt plugged in all the way or something.
Might just be because the monitor is old. Guess it's time for another laptop sad

That would make sense Nagis. I'll check that out tomorrow when I can find a screw driver for this sucker. I REALLY don't want to have to buy my boss a new laptop though. For one thing, it was used and old when I got it. Maybe they won't mind? sweatdrop

Well if it is old, then maybe it is just the connectors. They usually wear out more than the Plasma screen does.
Then again, the screen could wear out from bad treatment (IE: Handled bad, hot surfaces, etc.)
A good laptop ranges from about $500 - $1000, so if your boss really cares, he needs to upgrade.
Hit the Windows key and the PAUSE-BREAK button and tell me what you see please. (What is under the 'Computer' tab)

Ok, I did that but the only options I have are: system restore, automatic updates, remote, general, computer name, hardware, and advanced.
