Kalama watched as a butterfly passed right in front of her. Without a second thought, she smirked and wiggled her rear in the air while the upper half of her body was crouched down to the ground. A playful growl came from the leopard cub when she jumped after the butterfly and clapped her paws together. When she missed the butterfly, the cub huffed then tried again and once more failed. Soon the butterfly got too high for Kalama to reach and Kalama decided to go play with another bug.

When a grasshopper jumped in her view, she assumed her previous position and jumped at it, cupping her paws over the little green bug. Then, she opened her paws just so she could peek inside. Kalama laughed when she saw the little bug under her paws safe and sound. "Hello there Mr. Grasshopper." She said with a playful smile to the little bug.

Keo walked up as she watched one of her daughters play with a helpless bug. A smile crossed her face. She couldn't hold back from smiling. She saw herself in this cub. Mostly because she looked almost identical to the way she herself looked at the cubs age. She always wondered what it was like to grow up with other cubs. With her cubs, she was learning a lot. Even though it wasn't the same as if she would have grew up with her own siblings.

"What are you up to, darling." She asked as she went to lick her cub. Of course, she knew that all her cubs didn't like to be cleaned when they were in the middle of playing with a helpless little bug. but she really couldn't help it. She had to show her love to her children some how.

Kalama's ears flicked towards her mother when her voice seemed to come from no where. The little cub uncupped her paws then turned and faced her mom. "Playing with a bug." She said then wrinkled her nose as she got her bath for the day. "Moooom." The little one said. Actually, Kalama didn't mind this one bit, but her siblings always complained, so she figured it was something to complain about.

Kalama scooted a little closer to her mother, happy that she was around. She was a momma's girl and everyone knew it, but she didn't care one bit if everyone knew. While her mother was in the middle of cleaning, she gently licked her mother's fur back. Her tail flicked behind her at an upbeat rhythm as her mother continued to clean her off. A day with mom sounded like fun.

To Keo, it was nice to have one of her kids who wanted to be around her. So far, she had a few that seemed they just wanted to leave. But not that she could do anything about it for the time being. She knew once they were older, they'd come back. Or at least she hopped. She did with her mom anyways. "Oh? Poor bug." She said with a smile.

Poor bug? Nah, the bug was there for her children's amusement. At least they were happy for now. She hated when she had to punish them. but if she didn't, they'd walk all over her. She knew it. Even if she didn't with her own mother.

Kalama tilted her head to the side slightly. Poor bug? "I didn't hurt him." She said glancing back at the little grasshopper who was probably by now long gone. The little cub shrugged her shoulders simply then looked back to her mother and again gently licked her white fur, which matched the cub's white fur perfectly.

Kalama couldn't help but wonder if her mother had anything planned for the day. Probably just keep all of the cubs safe and sound.

It wasn't an easy job, being a mother of seven. Constant worry about where her cubs where, and if she forgot one. It didn't help with her second youngest daughter Lulua'line. Always getting into trouble and running out of the view of her own eyes. At least she wasn't alone. She smiled at her daughter.

"Well, I'm sure it's fine then."

Kalama did, on occasion, sneak away from her parent's views, but most of the time she liked to stick around where her mother could keep an eye on her. The little leopard cub smiled when her mother said it was okay. She didn't like to make her mother unhappy in anyway. Kalama's tail twitched slightly behind her as she looked up to her mother.

"What do you do for fun momma?" She couldn't help but wonder what adults did for fun. Of course, Kalama knew what cubs liked to do, after listening and watching her siblings.

"Well, I watch over you and your siblings." To Keo that was as much fun as she could ever have at the moment. She was never much of a playful leopard when she was younger, or even know. Unless, if one of her kids wanted to play, she couldn't simply say no. They were just too cute to tell them no. Even when they were in trouble it was hard enough.

She loved spending time with Ganix alone, but she wasn't about to say that to her cub. Her cub was much too young for that type of talk. She'd have to wait a bit longer before talking to her about that. Which then, she'd have to talk to all her cubs about that. That way, they'd at least know more then she did when she was a cub.

Kalama tilted her head slightly to the side while listening to her mother. Watching over her and her siblings was her mother's idea of fun? "That doesn't sound too fun." She said with a curious look up towards her mother. How could she have fun doing that? Of course, she probably liked father watching them by her side.

With a playful smile towards her mother, Kalama crouched down a little and looked up towards her mother with her tail flapping behind her. "Wanna play?" She acted as though she was going to pounce her mother, but didn't move an inch, minus her tail.

Keo wasn't one to play much, but it was her daughter. "What do you have in mind?" She asked her daughter. She learned alot from all her kids, She wasn't there to teach them, the where there to teach her. She smiled down at her daughter, the one that looked most like her. It was odd really, it was like looking into a placid lake. Though, she couldn't be happier that one of her kids looked like her. There was another who looked like her, just her father's colors.

Kalama looked up to her mother with a innocent look on her face. Her orange tail flicked behind her as she tried to think of a game for the two of them to play. There were so many different games to choose from. She shrugged her shoulders at her mother's question then decided on the well known game. "Cat and mouse." Kalama suggested as her ears perked up.

She hadn't played any games when she was a cub, so she never got to enjoy that side of life, though Keo didn't want the same for her kids. She wanted them to play and have fun. Of course her life was great as a cub, she just wanted better for her own cubs. It was how every mother looked at things. "Oh, sounds like a fun game" She said.

When her mother answered, Kalama sat up and looked into her mother's own light blue eyes. "You know how to play, right?" She figured her mother would know, but one could never be too positive about things. Her small, orange tail flicked behind her as she smiled up to her mother, the one female she looked up to the most.

"well, one chases the other, right?" she asked. Kinda like tag in a way, she figured, but maybe a little different. If she got it wrong, her daughter would show her how it was played easily enough. Kids where there to teach their parents. Even if most saw it the other way, but it was more of a bit of both really. She smiled at her daughter.

"Yeah." Kalama said with a huge smile on her face. In one swift motion, she nudged her mother with her nose then took off in a random direction. She made sure not to run away from where her siblings were located, so that her mother could keep an eye on them while also playing with her.
