While getting this place ready for you guys, I was wondering, "What not have some good old fashion races! And Betting! And Blackjack! Y'know what, forget the Blackjack!" Here's where you'll be able to sign up to become a jockey. Along with sending in the registration form as a PM to me, you'll need to send in a 300 gold registration fee. This will go toward prize money and stuff like that.

RANKING STRUCTURE

All Chocobos' rank starts out at C. As you win races, your chocobos rank will increase. Winning gives you WP, which go toward your ranking.For each Tournament win, you'll receive 2 points and placing first in league matches will earn your 5 points, second will yield 3 WP, and third will yield 1 WP. Exhibition wins will also yield 2 points. However, loses in any race will knock off 3 points, except for exhibition. Losing in the Silver Bracket will also knock off 2 WP.Here's the criteria for ranking:

C+ -- You'll need to win 1 tournament, league or exhibition match.

B- -- You need to have reached the rank of C+, and accumulated at least 15 WP

B -- Achieve the B- rank and have at least 20 WP

B+ -- Achieve the rank of B and have at least 25 WP

A- -- Achieve the rank of B+ and have at least 35 WP

A -- Achieve the rank of A- and have at least 45 WP.

A+ -- Achieve the rank of A and have a total of 50 WP.

S -- Achieve the rank of A+ and have a total of 100 WP. Subsequent losses after reach S Rank will cause your rank to fall back.

RACE INFO

Tournament

Tournament races are just that: tournaments. There will be 15 competitors in the preliminaries and 3 races of five racers. The top 3 of each race will move on the semifinals. The losers in the prelims will lose 3 WP. In the Semifinals, all 9 racers will compete and the top 4 will move into the Finals. The losers here will lose 3WP, but they will move into the Silver Bracket for a chance to redeem themselves. In the Finals, the 4 remaining competitors will compete for first place and 2 WP will be awarded to the winner.

In the Silver Bracket, the five competitors who lost in the semifinals will compete for first and second place. the first place winner will gain 2 WP and the second place winner will gain 1 WP.

League

League Races are the most important race because they'll have the biggest impact on your WP and, therefore, your rank. In a league race, all racers compete for the top 3 slots. In this race, anyone who did not come 1st, 2nd, or 3rd will lose 3 WP. Unlike the tournament races, there is no Silver Bracket.

Exhibition

In an exhibition, two racers throw down in a 1-on-1 match. The race takes places when one jockey challenges another, but that jockey can decline if s/he so choose to do so. Winning in an exhibition yields 2 WP, but losing in the race doesn't effect your WP
