I stayed at home with my famly and we played Uno Attack. Between my Mom, Dad, and myself, we finished off 2 bottles of sparkling juice (one Peach and one Pear). xD No alcohol for us because we were silly enough.
I had a resolution of finishing "Pride and Prejudice" before the end of Jan. 1st but... still about 50 pages left. smile
So, yup.
My hopes that I have for this year are: - to graduate - to get a job (that pays semi-well) - to finish watching all of the "Die Hard" movies that are out there [I've seen numbers 1 and 2 and I own the 3rd one. XD ]. - to support my mom and siblings while Dad's off in Iraq.
Luff to ya'll! heart ~Margem

...they're not really "resolutions" because I believe like Star does - rarely anyone keeps their resolutions. Therefore, they are "hopes" for this year. whee ~Margem

It's true! I thought I told ya'll already.... sweatdrop Sorry I didn't tell you earlier if I didn't say so earlier....
Anywho... My Dad's in the National Guard and he's being deployed soon. He has been active duty (just not deployed within the last 20 years) for almost as long as I've been alive, more or less. He plays the trumpet and wears nice uniforms. xD Their band is going over there for morale boosting. He's had the training of how to carry a gun and how to protect one's self in combat but he still has to get a bit more training as well as being briefed before he actually gets over there.
I think (not positive, though) that he leaves for Washington state in the beginning of March, trains there for a bit and then goes on over to Iraq.... So, he'll leave us about the beginning of March.
I seriously didn't mention that at all to anyone here?! ... My mind must be slipping because that was the main reason for my case of "insanity" - taking 18 credits in one semester plus commuting plus working plus homework. ~Margem
[ I can't believe that Aphrodite was the first to actually read my whole post and to note what I said.... Star and Kyros, you're slacking!!! whee But I still luff you! ]
