Ok, so, lately the only ideas I've been getting for a new roleplay are, like, real life ideas. This is what I've got so far:
Department Store (?) You could play someone who works there or a customer. I'd come up with an interesting story for it, obviously. Summer Camp Councelor or camper (probably younger kids) Newspaper Reporter, photographer, an editor, etc. Ski Resort/Lodge The owner of the lodge gave out a certain number of free passes for all-expenses-paid trips. It would probably be a romance of some kind. This is the newest.
I've also got a wild west one, with no story. Help?
PS. The department store one came from an old British TV show my mom told me about, called Are You Being Served? I've never seen it myself, but I liked the idea.

Um, I was kinda looking for feedback on these. I wasn't just trying to list them. I've already got 'em written down, so... Yeah.

Um, I just wanted to know if any of them sounded good. I can come up with a decent idea for them myself if anyone would actually join one.

I'd join most any of these. Well, the department store sounds kind of lame, actually (sorry). But Newspaper is awesome. I played one once, and when you have four or five really dedicated players on it, it really does take off.
One story I've really wanted to try but can't figure out how to make work is a home for the recently deceased. Sort of a hotel for spirits who need to figure out what their lives meant before they can pass into the next world. Yeah.

That was the one I was thinking about most. At the time of that post I was really into real life ideas, and that was the best one I could think of.
You know, I could probably come up with a story for that. It would take a little while, though, I bet.

Ok, so... 'You're a what?!'
Because my idea is something is threatening the earth and only the demons and their owners can stop it. Whatever 'it' is. The owners, since they control the collars, have the ability to unlock the demons' full powers, but they have to discover how on their own. Only the full powers of the demons combined can stop the ultimate evil.
What is the ultimate evil, and how do they find out about it?

An evil demon lord is attempting to conquer Earth! He sends powerful demons from the Underworld, and they attempt to harness the natural magical energy that can be found in nexuses (What's the plural of nexus?) to open portals to the underworld. The characters have to find these nexuses (that's so wrong) so their demons can ward them against portals. But one open portal could release an entire swarm that would destroy the populace of Earth.
Or something like that?

Nexis (nex-EES)? Nexi (nex-EYE)? I dunno. Maybe we could come up with our own new word for it.
I like that though. Demons against demons, one set fighting to protect the humans (whether they want to or not) and the other set fighting to rid the planet of them. Ironic. I think...
Oakie doke. I'm gonna quote that from ya and post it up there.
Meanwhile, you should make a profile. Which, knowing you, I can assume you're doing right now.

Nope. I'm baby-sitting right now, so I'm on the mom's laptop. And it doesn't like to do anything, so yeah. I'll make one (two, actually) when I get home. Yeah.

Aww, really? Fine. How long will that be, ya think?
'Cause if it's too long I'm gonna go watch the Simpsons for a while (I started watching from the beginning again). I'll take my laptop with me, but I'll be slower to respond.

It'll probably be a long while still. I'm reading Nancy Drew. (Never read it before, and I have to admit. I hate the main character.)

Sorry, pit stop. Heh, TMI.
The original? 'Cause those are pretty hard to come by now. They're antiques. And I should know; my mom collects them. She's got almost the whole set. Sorry. Back to the question: The original?

Dunno how original it is. It says number one. It's The Secret of the Old Clock.
And the story is so obnoxious. Nancy is a godmoder! She's a good person, trying to solve mysteries and help people less fortunate than herself. Except she's so refined! And she knows how to fix her car, and she knows the practices of law, and she's pretty, and she's smart, and she's so completely perfect! It annoys me.

Oh, SNAP! -- I mean, really?
Heh, let's do a little visual comparison here...
The front, starting from the top: It says, in all caps in yellow font, 'Nancy Drew Mystery Stories', then in bigger, white font, 'The Secret Of The Old Clock', still in all caps. The picture is a dark field, presumably at night, with Nancy kneeling next to a clock. In the bottom left corner it says, 'by CAROLYN KEENE'. The binding is yellow, and the back is too cluttered to describe.
Sorry, I'm really curious. I MUST KNOW!
Of course she's prefect; she's Nancy Drew! She was made that way on purpose. The very first book (sitting right in front of me, obviously) was printed in 1959, and back then girls were still considered little house wives. Nancy was supposed to mark a turning point and spark a creative thought in little girls' heads.
I can assume.
