What is Kanna doing? Why is she fussing with that silly hat?
"It's not a silly hat!" Kanna cried, fussing even more with the beret on her head. It was awkward having such short hair in the winter.....Why had she cut it again? "And anyway..You're not supposed to be back here. I showed you where the nice VIP seat was." She sighed, looking down at Meirou again.
But there are instruments back here and Meirou wants to learn them! Besides, why should Meirou sit still and be bored out there?
"I already told you more Porcelain will be out there! Right next to you! You could make some friends." She stressed, picking up her piccolo to tune.
Meirou thinks that little thing is sharp!
"J...Just go out and sit..." Kanna groaned, adjusting it again. At that, she managed to pull Meirou out and plop her down in her seat, handing her a book. "There. Read. But I expect you to be on your best behavior! Mr. Cole wasn't so happy about you coming to rehearsal and sitting beside the the entire time." She sighed, leaving back for backstage.
At least Meirou has a book.... The porcelain fidgeted with her robes, frowning as she bothered to look at the cover.

Shuuken enters the theater shortly after the interaction between human and Porcelain, wearing clothing quite unlike her usual style. A white dress shirt covers her upper frame while a pair of black slacks cover her lower. Throwing the look together is a red tie that the small Porcelain tugs at constantly and in some irritation.
Why does Shuuken have to wear this? It is so uncomfortable!
Lynod wears a similar get-up, though his tie is of a rich green. He smiles faintly at Shuuken as he walks down the row before his eyes move to study the singular ticket in his hand.
"Because it's a formal attire event and you refused to wear a dress," explains Lynod calmly.
Shuuken snorts lightly, her hand leaving the horror that is the tie. Shuuken would have died if he had tried to make Shuuken wear a dress.
Shuuken points a finger up at him--Shuuken would have taken Lynod with her, that's certain!
Lynod laughs at the death threat, his brows rising faintly.
"Then I'm very happy we steered away from dresses," says Lynod before he pauses beside Meirou. He blinks slightly before glancing to the ticket and then back to the girl.
"Ah, hello!" says Lynod, a smile spreading across his features, "I think we've found your seat, Shuuken."

Meirou looks up at Lynod's greeting, gazing at the much taller person. Her gaze suddenly shifted to Shuuken as she grinned slightly. Another one of her kind!
Meirou sends a happy greeting to her kin, beaming as she holds the book close to her chest. Did Kanna invite Miss to the concert too? Meirou was dragged here forcibly, and was kicked out of backstage!
However, Meirou soon noticed she had forgotten a greeting to the other. gonk Meirou is so sorry! Meirou hasn't seen a fellow Porcelain in so long! Not since the evil wave took her away from home.... crying

Lynod raises a hand as if to stop Meirou's apologies, his head shaking faintly. "There's no reason to apologize," says the human, "Your feelings are more than understandable. My name is Lynod, by the way."
With that, the man extends a hand to the small girl.
Shuuken narrows her eyes at the mention of a wave before her arms fold across her chest. Another victim of whatever is taking place in the Golden World, eh? Shuuken intends to find out just what is going on! She proceeds to lean in, sending a private message to Meirou.
Shuuken, in fact, is putting together a band whose purpose is to enter the Silver World, convene with the Silver Empress, and find a way home. If Meirou believes herself brave enough to take the task...
As the private conversation goes on, Lynod blinks softly before watching Shuuken suspiciously. One of his fingers moves to tap her at the top of her head to gain her attention.
Shuuken's eyes dart to Lynod, the hair on her head standing up ever-so-slightly--apparently she didn't expect the touch. What is Lynod doing?!
"Stopping you from whatever you're planning," says Lynod faintly, a soft look of concern appearing on his face, "Let the adults handle this, Shuuken. Setsushi, the other adults, and I are trying what we can."
Shuuken merely eyes him before snorting and again crossing her arms over her chest as she begins to look a little guilty. Yeah, yeah..

Meirou blinks, contemplating Shuuken's words, and responds back privately. Meirou is unsure at this time...But would there be time for her to study? This isn't a trip for pleasure, right? ...Well, perhaps Meirou will join. Meirou does miss her mother...Though her lessons were always such a pain!
She turns her replies back to Lynod, smiling lightly. Meirou is Meirou! And always has been! Does Lynod like books as well? She holds up the book, titled 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy, grinning. Kanna gave her this book, and she intends to read it! And then move on to learning about this 'Physics' Kanna speaks about!

Lynod again blinks before cocking his head to the side, his eyes trailing along the cover of her book. There's some silence before he looks to the girl, a playful smile popping on his face.
"That's a rather advanced looking book," says Lynod, "Are you sure it's yours?"
Shuuken snorts lightly as she glances up at Lynod. Of course it is! Is he perhaps calling Meirou a fraud?
Lynod keeps the smile plastered on his face as he nods, glancing down to Shuuken.
"Yes," says the human, "That is exactly what I'm driving at."

As Lynod speaks, a cautious feeling of greeting seems to probe his mind, coming from somewhere behind. Moments later, a familiar figure appears, walking quietly and hunched over as if very nervous.
Setsushi looks Lynod and Shuuken over, then down at himself -- he is wearing a very neatly pressed set of blue robes, but from the way he is scrutinizing himself it seems that these are not as formal as those of the other two.
Does Lynod think Setsushi will be okay in this...?

...A fraud? gonk Lynod thinks Meirou is a fraud? Meirou assures Lynod she is anything but a fraud! Meirou is nothing like Rasputin to the Tsar!
Meirou huffs, aggravated by the accusation. As Setsushi approaches, she looks up, a glare still on her face.
What do you want? Are you going to call Meirou a fraud too? stressed

Lynod blinks profusely before raising his hands in an attempt to calm the girl.
"No, no, I was joking," says Lynod softly before leaning in, a frown of regret popping up on his lips, "I didn't mean for you to think I was serious."
Shuuken glances up to Lynod before snorting slightly. Shuuken will take care of this! Lynod should just reassure Setsushi that he is pretty while Shuuken works her magic.
Lynod blinks once more before eyeing Setsushi as Shuuken steps forward towards Meirou shooting private messages her way.
Meirou doesn't need to be angry! Lynod just has a horrible sense of humor! Shuuken smiles, her hand moving to pat lightly at Meirou's shoulder. He's a good guy once you get to know him--won't Meirou forgive him?
... And who is Rasputin the Tsar?
Lynod eyes the girls for a few moments before sighing and returning his attention back to Setsushi. With a bit of a sheepish smile, he gives his head a shake. "It looks like I could use a bit more tact when speaking with children," admits the human before giving his assessment, "And as for your clothes, you're fine. You are from another culture--it only makes sense for you to wear what makes you comfortable, right?"
Then why is Shuuken wearing this get-up?! scream
Lynod scratches the back of his head with a grin. "I didn't think of it, to tell you the truth," says Lynod simply.

Setsushi shrinks back from the child's angry outburst -- not something he's used to receiving. He shrinks back (though someone so tall cannot really shrink very much) and stares at her a moment, giving off a feeling of being unsettled and contrite.
He entertains a theory that perhaps he has dressed so badly that he has horrendously insulted the aficionados -- but when Lynod reassures him he calms a bit, though he fidgets with his clothes for a few more seconds, brushing and straightening them obsessively.
"I apologize" for whatever Setsushi has done to upset Miss, then. sweatdrop "I mean no injury" -- he is a stranger in this land, and so any breaches of propriety he might engage in are accidental, due to a lack of familiarity and knowledge.
"Is Miss a lady of this land," then? he asks, taking a neat and formal posture with his head inclined and one hand resting lightly on his chest.

Oh! Miss Shuuken (That is Miss' name, right? sweatdrop ) does not know of Rasputin? Meirou would be more than happy to explain!
All the books of Russian History had paid off! Meirou cheered up, happily explaining about the entire Russian Revolution in a nutshell to everyone, smiling as she did so, forgiving Lynod silently.
"Meirou is...not of this land." She states, pausing a bit in her speech. Switching was slightly awkward, though Kanna had been attempting to get her to use both....
Meirou was swept away by an evil wave! But her prince rescued her and left her here....
Meirou shrinks in her seat as she wonders about the fate of her prince. She still had his jacket.....

Lynod smiles faintly at the interaction between the swordsman, scholar, and wild child. What a misunderstanding he caused... Once she finishes her description of the Russian Revolution, Lynod bows his head faintly before grinning. Of course, any questions he might have about her erudite pursuits are quelled when she reveals her prince.
".. Can you tell me of him?" asks Lynod gently as he kneels near Meirou, "How did you meet this prince? Where did you last see him?"
Shuuken frowns, her arms folding across her chest. Shuuken doesn't know what happened to Meirou's prince--but she hopes they can find him! There is a short silence from Shuuken as she seems to contemplate Meirou's situation before her voice thunders through those assembled.
Shuuken will be Meirou's prince! Shuuken steps forward, her hand moving to clasp Meirou's own, the prince(ss) puffing her chest out, setting her jaw, and narrowing her eyes. Until Meirou's prince returns, Shuuken will be there for her, protecting her!
After overcoming his initial surprise, Lynod actually laughs faintly at the devotion Shuuken claims to have for the girl.
The princess, obviously, does not take the laughter so well and narrows her eyes at Lynod. Does he think something is funny?! Shuuken is quite serious!
Lynod shakes his head, his hand moving from his lips. "I believe every word you say, Shuuken; I didn't laugh because of a lack of belief," says Lynod, "I merely find your instantaneous devotion to be... cute."
... Shuuken is not cute! The girl raises a fist threateningly at Lynod, though her other hand has yet to leave Meirou's own.

Setsushi stares at the children in bemusement. Privately, he is astounded at the strange girl's bad manners, but he keeps these thoughts inside his heart, resigning himself to never understanding the behavior of little ones.
Too frazzled to even scold Shuuken for her grabbiness, he hunts his pockets for his ticket, to see if it has an indication of where he should be seated. As he does so, he edges closer to Lynod and quietly asks if his human friend will help him decipher it.
Then, even more quietly, he privately asks the man if he knows who this unfamiliar little one is. Setsushi assumed that she was one of those Porcelain who live in Gaia, but is he mistaken? Are more people tumbling in from the Golden World?

Meirou blinks at Shuuken's sudden claim, but quietly sends out a wave of appreciation.
Meirou is grateful for Shuuken to be her prince! At last Meirou will have something to keep her busy when her books are all done! Kanna doesn't like Meirou accompanying her to the practices....
A rather quiet wave of depression resonated briefly, dissapearing as she mulled over her memories of the prince.
Meirou last saw the prince... ...
She trails off, thinking again. Was it really that hard to remember?
When she was being lifted from the sea. Meirou fell asleep after that...And woke up here with her head mended and his jacket. Then Kanna found her.
Meirou regrets not bringing the jacket...Perhaps her prince could read the writing. Or someone else stuck here as she is.

Shuuken is sure that Meirou's prince still lives! After all, he left the jacket after mending her, correct? A burst of excitement leaves the small girl as she releases Meirou's hand, her hands shoving into her pockets. Shuuken can only hope that they meet again!
Then, a bit more quietly, Shuuken again claims that she will be Meirou's prince until she finds her true one. Shuuken already likes Meirou, and can see why the prince was so quick to save her!
Lynod watches the children, but finds his attention soon back on Setsushi. With a ginger shake of his head, Lynod notes his own confusion on the subject. "From what little I know, she may be from another land," whispers Lynod, "But I have heard of other locations than the Golden World. The Silver World, Dragonlamp... it seems your countrymen have found many locations to live."
A thoughtful look crosses his face before he shakes his head. "Too many Porcelain are arriving," says Lynod, "We can't afford to wait any longer, can we?" He pauses before shaking his head yet again.
"... Perhaps Shuuken's plan to check the Silver World is correct," admits the adult.
