What If Siegell Won? (An alternate Learania RP) What if Amelia chose Siegell over Rhys? What if Grishelda never died, but instead Rei took control of her quintessence, making her help FEF or be turned loose to die? What if the members of the Crew were killed or incapacitated? What if FEF lost their own kingdom to an outsider? This roleplay is a "What-If?" alternate Learania, in which we can explore how things would go after the recent event under different circumstances. This is not FEF canon-- it's like a spin-off. Again, THIS IS NOT FEF CANON. Do not treat it as such. This RP starts 2 years after the events of Christmas '08. Most events in between can be assumed to happen so long as they do not conflict with events that take place in this RP. Therefore, the Nine Heroes and the battle with Loki did happen in terms of this roleplay.Table of Contents 1. Opening post 2. The Story 3. Rules 4. Characters 5. Deviations 6. Characters Killed 7. "I won't tell if you won't..."
Siegell had held Amelia in his arms that night as they sheltered themselves from the blizzard. The food they had tried to take back to Fefga's mansion was all destroyed by the watchtower monster. They'd had no clue where the others had gone after the monster was destroyed. Siegell had found the little stone barracks set into the city wall and had taken refuge there.
He'd run into Amelia there as well.
"I won't tell if you won't..."
He'd wrapped her in a blanket, taken her in his arms.
A wry little smirk played on Siegell's lips as Shastah carried him through the springtime sky, over the trees while his troops marched through the woods below. Berserkers, paladins, generals, sages, all under Siegell's command. Snipers and rogues darted through the shadows, while a corps of Wyvern Riders sailed through the sky behind the White Wolf of Daein.
All were immunized against the plague that contaminated the corpses held in the wyverns' claws.
Siegell's army marched out of the woods towards FEF Castle. "Amelia," murmured Siegell, "Your king is on his way..." Table of Contents 1. Opening post 2. The Story 3. Rules 4. Characters 5. Deviations 6. Characters Killed 7. Reserved

Rules [Rules based off the rules from Curse of the Looking Glass, with credit to KuraiKitty] 1. Read all of these intro posts! They’re there for a reason. 2. Marshmallow Kitty is helping me run this joint, so her word is law. >3 Mine, too, don't forget. The rules are reasonable, but strict, mmkay? 3. Please be literate- just two to three paragraphs is good, though more is encouraged! Writer’s block happens, and I can understand that, but please don’t use it as a constant crutch to allow yourself to get away with constant one-paragraph posts. 4. Activity’s always nice! Just a few posts a week will do, since I know school takes a toll on all of us. Just check in and let us know if you’re going to be absent for a bit, and we’ll discuss whether or not to puppet your character (in order to keep him/her in the storyline in your absence). If you wish to withdraw at any time, feel free to let me know, and I can weave your character out of the story. Chances are they’ll be moved to the role of NPCs, so that, if you want to join back in at any time, you can snatch that character right up again and once again throw yourself into the madness. 5. Do not godmod, please. When in battle, post your attack, but do not automatically declare a hit- no character can hit 100% of the time! Likewise, for the defending character, evasion isn’t always possible. Remember, you can always do something different to shake things up a bit- after all, these guys can make mistakes, too! Tripping once in a while, missing, or timing something incorrectly adds a bit of realism. Remember, this isn’t a ‘cool’ contest. 6. I don’t have a rule against swearing. You all are old enough to be responsible for your own tongues… er, keystrokes. If it’s in character, then go ahead- just don’t drop swear words every two words. It gets awfully tedious to read. 7. Colored font is perfectly acceptable, and is actually helpful when differentiating characters, but is optional. However, keep in mind that bright colors will drive the rest of us mad- no matter how much you like eyesore yellow and neon orange, save the rest of our eyes from being burned. 8. You may not kill a character (NPCs included) unless you can prove that the character’s owner has given consent (or unless a notification is given that it’s a killable NPC). 9. This RP is going to be nuts. It's based on the FEF Canon that has been laid out through the events, but it explores what it might be like if things went differently. Make sure you're up to date on the story behind Learania (AKA FEF Kingdom) and know the events that took place during the 2k8 Halloween and Christmas guild events. 10. As for gore, anything goes- this isn’t a lighthearted skip in the park role play, but a fight to save the throne from a madman who has usurped it and taken over. The themes present in this roleplay are significantly darker than in FEF canon-- you can and will die in this roleplay, at my discretion your character CAN be killed off. Be warned. 11. That slightly unnerving message out of the way, have fun… Please. 8D Table of Contents 1. Opening post 2. The Story 3. Rules 4. Characters 5. Deviations 6. Characters Killed 7. Reserved

Characters You are free to create new characters for this RP. If you're playing an established FEF character, a full bio is optional, though an abridged one might be nice. All characters will be listed here. If you create a new character, I'd like to make sure some thought has been put into them, so if you create an OC just for this roleplay, or an OC who hasn't yet participated in FEF canon stuff, PM me this form: Quote: Player's name: Character's name: Gender: Age: (Actual and physical) Appearance: (Picture may be included, but I want a written description either way) Class: Continent of origin: (i.e., Tellius, Elibe, Thracia, or even Learania) Bio: (Doesn't need to go on forever, but somewhat in-depth, please. A description of the character's personality is unnecessary, as it will be developed throughout the roleplay. The bio should ideally include information both before and after they came to Learania (unless they are Learania native). A description of how they reached Learania is optional.) Current FEF Canon Characters Siegell Mersetag (Siegell and Shastah) Amelia (Marshmallow Kitty) Janaff (Mythee) Aidan (Danni-chan) Tibarn (Ganon Firenight) Rei (Phith Leico) Ayra (KuraiKitty) Nils (Cortesa) Grishelda (Grishelda) Leon (Misuki Marishima) Joshua (askem2) Kishuna (Forgotten Morph) Annis (Annis the Raven) New Original Characters Cortesa Player's name: Cortesa
Character's name: Akihi Kaua
Gender: Male
Age: He is 19, and he looks his age.
Appearance: Akihi is a tall, slender boy, standing at 5’10”. He has brown hair, which is smooth, neat, and stays right above his shoulders. His eyes are black, and his skin is a light shade of peach. He isn’t very muscular, probably due to his lack-of physical activity, but he’s not really too sure.
He wears a sky-blue muscle-top, the style like a mercenary’s, though it is not seen because of his deep-purple robe. The robe is loose on him and is made of a silky material. It goes to about his ankles and is secured around his waist by a navy-blue sash. Along the edge of the sleeves and the fringe of the cloak are strands of fabric, the same shade as the top. His light-tan pants are tight but not restricting and go well with his brown boots, which are the same shade as his hair. [Clothes reference]
Class: Sage
Continent of origin: Elibe
Bio: Akihi Kaua, twin brother to Alihi, has always been the quieter and more reserved of the two. Throughout childhood, he was in Alihi’s shadow, always known as “Alihi’s brother” or “the other Kaua”. She would be running around, socializing and making a fool out of herself, while Akihi would stay at home huddled in his room, constantly having his nose in a tome or some other historical book. He rarely opened up, and when he did, it was to Alihi or his only friends, Ryuu and Dabir. Dabir eventually moved to Ilia, and Akihi, Alihi, and Ryuu enrolled into Bern’s army. After some drama, Alihi and Akihi fled from the army, Alihi towards Sacae and Akihi towards Lycia.
Akihi never made it to Lycia. He had to go back to meet his sister, who had given birth to a child. Upon arrival, she gave him the newborn and continued towards Sacae. He settled in a small village in Bern. While Alihi was off being a tactician and saving Elibe from mass destruction, Akihi stayed at home, taking care of Alihi’s daughter, Amara. Day in and day out, all the male could do was raise Amara as if she were his own. He owed it to his sister and the father of the child, Ryuu, who he still had feelings for.
This pattern went on for three years.
When Alihi finally returned, Akihi handed over the child and headed out the door, tired of the toddler’s ramblings every single day, desperate for some adventure of his own.
Opening the door, he stepped to Learania.
Once settled into Learania, Akihi began to gain confidence in himself. He began to open up and shine, no longer able to be over-shadowed by his sister. He continued studying anima magic, constantly improving, and eventually promoted to a Sage. Now, he is able to use a Heal staff with ease, but no other staffs. The only tome he uses is a Thunder, though on some occasions he uses an Elfire tome. He moved into FEF Castle after a few months, and has remained there since. Zehguir Player's name: Zehguir Character's name: Tyr Fenrir Gender: Male Age: 67, looks 32 Appearance: 6'7" tall, dark tan skin, golden eyes (Not morph gold, but like a really bright brown, so I guess golden-brown), very muscular, constantly wears baggy white pants with a red sash, an old-looking brown leather vest and a red bandanna. Has twin tattoos of blue lightning around his eyes. His weapons are a massive black-headed hammer that has ancient-looking runes on its shaft as well as a blue outline of a wolf on its head, and he calls it Gungnir. Class: BERSERKER!! Continent of origin: Learania Bio: Born in the desert lands far away from the FEF Castle, Tyr was raised to be a strong, proud fighter. At about age 24, however, his town was destroyed by monsters and only he and a few others lived afterwords. Most of the survivors went insane and most moved out of the desert, but Tyr decided to stay. There he lived into in his mid thirties until he found no reason to stay any longer. He then moved near the FEF Castle; in the forest around it. In the forest, he befriended a silver wolf who named Lo'Gosh. The two have stayed in the forest ever since. Quote: Player's name: Danni-chan Character's name: Jaylin Amory Gender: Male Age: 18 during Eliwood/Hector's tale in FE7, 19 when entering Learania. He looks his age. c: Appearance: A fit, strong young man, Jaylin is lean yet muscular. His hair is is short, dark blue and just messy enough for a guy as active as he is. He does have bangs, which are usually swept to the side. Strong eyes, like an adventurer--they're a bit unusual, as they're hazel and seem to shift from a light brown to a green color. He is tall, about 5'9".
He's no marquess's son, so he's clad relatively simply, wearing the same thing that most cavaliers wear: pants, shirt, belt, boots, armor, all standard-issue and for the most part unremarkable. His shirt, long-sleeved, is the same deep brown that his pants are. He takes good care of his black boots, also standard cavalier fare. The armor he wears has a similar style to most all other Elibean soldiers; it happens to be steel blue with white trim. Class: Cavalier -> Paladin Continent of origin: Elibe Bio (SOOOO TL;DR I'M SORRY): Jaylin's earliest memory is of a kind woman embracing him as he sobbed into her shoulder--he was 5 years old and he had been left at an Etrurian orphanage. He knows nothing of his parents. From then on, she would serve as a mother figure, encouraging him and recognizing his talent as he sparred with other young boys who hoped to become soldiers themselves. Sadly, she passed on when he was 12. On her deathbed, she told him of Sethan, a thriving nearby canton ((or whatever the heck you call Etrurian "cities")). Escorted by an older boy and another cavalier hopeful, Jaylin began work as a stable boy, eventually climbing up the ranks to become a full-fledged cavalier.
His friend, however, was killed in a skirmish.
He soon fell in love with a young mage, also working for the Marquess of Sethan, named Adeline, though he could only watch her from afar, as he had a lower social status than she. They only began to talk when he had become a more accomplished soldier. When he was nearing his 18th birthday, he was assigned to a mission with Adeline--they were to travel to Caelin to show their support to the Marquess and his granddaughter Lyndis after the villainous Lundgren had been overthrown. They were to also take along young Wendell, the marquess's son. A series of events led to Adeline losing sight of Wendell while she thought Jaylin had him; Aidan found the boy and returned him, albeit with some difficulty. (Yeah, probably bandits. XD) An antsy Aidan joined them, and the three left Caelin together.
On their way back, after a romantic encounter with Adeline that turned sour (will fully explain later!) Jaylin resigned, telling the Marquess of the incident and pretending that it was his fault that Wendell had gotten lost. This was half an attempt to cover for Adeline and half an excuse to get away from her and his perceived failure. He and Aidan, who knew nothing of this, left to travel Elibe freely, and quickly became inseparable.
A year later, they ran into Lowen just outside of Pherae.
When they finally fought the Fire Dragon, Aidan, who was too busy to pay attention, was targeted by the beast--Jaylin's quick thinking saved the tactician from certain death at its claws. However, by pushing him out of the way, Jaylin was exposed, and his right leg was ripped off.
He survived and recovered, putting on his best optimistic face for the distraught Aidan. A very weak Jaylin was returned to Etruria, cared for by none other than Adeline. They made amends...mostly. Meanwhile, an anguished Aidan, believing it to be all his fault, disappeared, leaving Jaylin distressed and desperate to return to health.
When he was almost able to walk again (with a prosthetic leg of course), Aidan returned; they had a tearful reunion, though Adeline seemed to blame Aidan for Jaylin's leg. The tactician was still quite remorseful about this, and when Adeline took out her anger on him, Aidan, emotional, ran out of the room. Jaylin somehow made it out to follow him, Adeline, in turn, following Jaylin to make sure he didn't hurt himself.
They found Aidan sitting on the ground, staring in shock at the unknown kingdom before them. Phith Leico Player's name: Phith Leico Character's name: Zelos Wilder Gender: Male Age: (Actual and physical) 22 Appearance: (Narcissist Zelos because it's my preferred costume of his) Zelos has long, red hair reaching down to about his lower back, with a fancy braid or something. He's got a fancy suit and stuff, a nice black jacket, white shirt and black pants. He has an elegant rapier attached to his belt, and a shield (probably the Star Shield) on his left arm. Picture-thing, because I've been terrible at descriptions lately. ._.Class: Uhhh... I'd say either FF Red Mage or FE MageFighter, both of which are classes capable of using melee weapons (swords) and both healing and offensive magic. Continent of origin: Tethe'alla Bio: Originally Rei, Zelos, a goofy pseudo-personality of Rei, took control of the Druid's damaged mind after one too many uses of Apocalypse. Zelos is, on the outside, a flirt. A HUGE flirt. I mean, worse than Gatrie. If it's female, he'll hit on it. To make his womanizing ways even funnier, he almost completely disregards the existence of males he does not personally know. But, that's just on the outside. On the inside, he's a more strategic, reserved person who's gone through more hardship than most. History time! Now, Zelos was born to a rich family. But, his father sucked and was cheating on his mom, and ended up creating Zelos's little half-sister Celes with a half-elf woman. Zelos is (was) on good terms with her, despite parental issues. Now, to make things really terrible for the guy, the half-elf mistress killed his mother right in front of his eyes. His mother had blamed him for her death, and said that he should not have been born. So, Zelos had a pretty messed up childhood, giving him trust issues and stuff. Now, anyone who has played ToS knows that Zelos sides with the winning side. What that means for the RP is unknown right now, and it'll be fun to work with later. :3 Marshmallow Kitty Player's name: Marshmallow Kitty Character's name: Maiara Oakland Gender: Female Age: Twenty years of age. She looks her age, perhaps a year younger at most. Appearance: Maiara stands tall, at just half an inch under six feet. She is slim all over, with long arms and legs and a flat stomach and chest. Her hair, a very dark shade of brown, falls past her waist even when pulled up in a ponytail. Her skin is a warm shade of light brown, like a comfortable suntan that never fades, and is complimented by a pair of amber-colored eyes. She has small hands and fingers, but large feet. Typically, Maiara is seen wearing a blue tank top and a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, both cropped short to reveal a few inches of her slim stomach. Exposed on her right side is a tattoo of a yellow star. Seven gold bangles line her right forearm. She wears a pair of black shorts underneath a thick brown belt with a long, ground-trailing white skirt attached, cut to reveal most of her right leg. Attached to the back of her belt is a pouch that she carries a few odds and ends, such as medicine and a pocket knife. From her calves down to her feet are a pair of pale blue boots that fit snugly against her legs. Picture ReferenceClass: Sage (I would presume somewhere around Lvl 20/2 or so -- strong enough to class change, but not so strong as to be an uber) Continent of origin: Magvel Bio: Maiara was born to a mage and cleric in the desert country of Jehanna, raised by her father most of her life. Her father and mother owned an apothecary that created numerous potions used by the Jehanna military -- Elixirs, Vulneraries, Antitoxins, and so on. Maiara's mother died when her daughter was merely two, leaving her with a man entirely unsure of how to raise children. Maiara was trained rigorously in the magic arts since she was around eight years old, and eventually it became apparent (at least in her father's eyes) that young Maiara simply did not have the knack for it, and lost interest in her. Maiara's attempts to teach herself how to cast spells did little to rekindle her father's faith in her, even as she produced a rather impressive Thunder spell for him after some time of training on her own. It was as she was teaching herself to cast Elfire that she realized just how little she needed her father's help. She was doing this all on her own, for goodness sakes. The only question left was progressing; with her father keeping her on a tight reign at home, having decided her future was in potion-making and continuing the business, she had to get herself away from home. At the age of fourteen, Maiara decided she could not stay at home anymore (she preferred the term 'pursuing personal interests' over 'running away'), deciding that the best thing to do was to attempt to find a place to further her studies, far away from her father. Maiara still isn't quite sure how she made it to Learania. She had packed everything up and held her backpack over her shoulder as she prepared to leave one dark night at the age of seventeen. She closed her eyes, opened the door, and stepped through. When she opened them again, no longer was she in a sandbox of blisteringly hot days and frigid nights; there she stood in a grassy area with homes and a stone castle in the distance. Since then, Maiara found a place for herself in the castle town, joining the militia. No longer was she shackled by her father's expectations and plans. Overall, she does not regret her decision and even three years later, in a land still foreign to her. ShadowEdogawa Player's name: ShadowEdogawa Character's name: Charon Gender: Male Age: However much time passed since that one happening at that one Christmas, y'know, where the undead popped up from the ground like weeds, you know the one. Appearance: What is the appearance of the generic Mauthe Doog? It is a lithe form resonating with deadly speed and powerful accuracy, sinewy muscles tightly fitting the slender but sharp skeletal frame beneath olive skin, a vast mane of ochre fur framing a fierce skull beset with crimson eyes and a thin snout. The mane often coils along the back to form a structured defense of hair for the spine while excess fur covers the hindquarters and a bushy tail sprouts from the coil. Yellowed fangs glisten beneath strong muzzles and ivory claws flash from broad canine paws. The characteristics which set this creature apart from the others are that (from the ground to the shoulder) he is 3'8" tall, 5'3" from the tip of his nose to the base of his tail, and his coat is slightly grayer. There are deep scars along the muzzle and across his body, most seemingly from claws and teeth; he is missing toe on his left forepaw, a tinge of purple to his skin is evident; and last but not least, he seems well-groomed compared to the typical beast. Class: Mauthe Doog Continent of origin: His kind originate from Magvel, but he was raised in Learania. Bio: From the blinding whiteness of the snow, he lifted his muzzle from the cold and icy flakes in a hunting howl that coalesced with the calls of his brethren. None knew what they were nor what purpose was nor sentience, for they were feral creatures raised from the demonic realms, given form and life to fulfill the bidding of hunger and strife. He was just like the rest of the pack: ravenous, relentless, and wrathful. He traipsed alongside his brothers through the cold snows and followed the scents of local wildlife and people. It was people they wanted. When they found these hairless, fleshy creatures walking around helplessly on two legs, the mauthe doogs sowed terror and struggle throughout what settlements they could find. The mauthe doogs did not question their existence. They did not question their sense of being. But perhaps necromancy (or whatever form of dark magic which had raised them) erred in its performance. As time wore on and the pack continued weaving through the forests and settlements, snapping and barking at warm flesh and blood and bone, ripping their claws through anything within reach, this particular little beast began to notice patterns. All creatures of nature saw patterns, but he noticed them more prominently and he began to observe them. This mauthe doog watched the flutter of the leaves around him, the skitter of a shadow in every corner, and even the slight shifts of color in the sky when the sun rose and descended. Color was perhaps the strangest wonder to him. His attentiveness to his surroundings caused an ignorance of his nature, and his fellow mauthe doogs sensed it. They felt threatened by this thing which had 'decided' to deviate from their ways. To a haphazardly organized number of predacious demons like the mauthe doogs, there was little else more dangerous than a loner of their own kind. They often snapped and snarled at him to keep him in line and to keep him disciplined. But the lone mauthe doog deviated more and more and he saw more patterns and acknowledged more things. Sound and noise became music. Sights became art. Instinct and reflex became reason. He eventually began to question the savage ways of the mauthe doogs. The loud, greedy snarls that rose from hungry throats, gurgling with blood torn fresh from screaming victims, became subjects of wonderment and doubt to the mauthe doog. When it was clear this unnatural creature was no longer one of their own, the pack turned on him. They were far less civil than animals of nature and sought to kill their 'traitor'. He fought back, but it soon occurred to him that he could not win this battle, and instead he fled. The lone mauthe doog utilized his memory and awareness to abandon his attackers in the thick of the forest. They stayed on his trail by scent, for such demons had no sense of defeat, but when he darted through a human settlement the pack was delayed enough to lose him. The mauthe doog knew humans would not welcome him. Yet he stayed on the fringes of their settlements, believing from his experience that they kept him safe from the feral mauthe doogs. He began grooming himself, finding comfort in it, and observed the patterns of these strange fleshy creatures that traveled on two legs. It occurred to him that each one was like a separate species, and each species had a separate name to which they responded, yet they understood one another and there were so many ways in which each individual was similar. He dwelled on these concepts for a long time. The lone mauthe doog eventually decided that he too was an individual, something that had become its own species by the shame of being driven off by his brethen, and he tried different forms of sound with what his muzzle could create. Finally he found something that he could utter with ease yet seemed unique to him. "Charon". He was a "Charon". Charon often said that name at himself when he looked into his reflection, for he had realized it was an image of himself long ago. He continued observing patterns in nature and in creatures. But all fled at the sight of him. So he had to hide just to watch anything or to catch anything, just to survive, just to live. And he wondered what he was living for. There was no language in which he had these thoughts nor a language in which he spoke any words, but the raw concept existed in his warped lupine brain. But there as something he longed to understand. Creatures of nature cooperated with one another, conflicting solely by the laws of territory and food. Brothers sought to control but they did not seek to slaughter. Yet when he witnessed demons, they were hellbent upon murder, for they were unnatural and had been summoned from dark and nameless realms. Humans did this too. Sometimes they killed each other with immense ferocity, and he wondered why. What perplexed him the most was when humans gathered in unfathomable numbers, bearing strange pelts that were made of some strange glinting stone, holding things made of shining and finely sharpened rock that they killed one another yet. But he couldn't understand why. He wanted to understand. Cerulyth Player's name: Cerulyth Character's name: Adele Rystda Gender: Female Age: At the time of this, eighteen, and looks along the lines of it Appearance: Adele keeps the same attire she usually does - a black bustier that complements the ebony skirt she wears over a set of dark leggings. The only thing different that she's recently adopted is a ragged brown scarf; the reason for wearing it remains a mystery, as she refuses to tell anyone why she's chosen to wear it. Her hair is now significantly longer than it was before, and the most striking feature about her new appearance is a series of deep scars in her face, circling her right eye. As with the scarf, it's unknown how she got the scars, but it's likely she ran into a patch of trouble on her sabbatical, one she's not willing to discuss. As for her weaponry, she still carries the massive axe strapped to her back. It's odd, but she seems to have only gotten more proficient with it. Class: Berserker Bio: After the events of Halloween, in which Adele and Siegell took off together, things went okay for a bit. Increasingly, though, Adele felt awkward around Siegell, what with her raucous attitude and accent and all. So, for him, she received his blessing to wander Learania and school about a bit. Recapture what she never had, y'know? (Not that she wasn't very smart in the first place, it was just a matter of channeling that knowledge into the right places.) Adele went off, received the promised schooling, ran into some old...accomplices...and after a series of events that she won't tell anyone, she finally returned years later. Except things were different. Seeking information from some local towns, Adele learned that Siegell had waged war upon FEF Castle, the castle she was so familiar with since Madriana's reign. He'd won (without her?), and was now king of the country. Well, awesome, Adele thought, what a great thing to return home to! Not so much. Upon further interrogation, she found that Siegell wasn't alone in his conquest. A blonde-haired girl was now his queen. Amelia. Amelia, that girl she'd run into in that final battle. Amelia was now with Siegell. Not sure whether to be incredibly angry or intensely upset, Adele thought about running to the castle. No...if Siegell was now as powerful as what she'd heard, that would only result in instant death. Especially if she made a scene about it. No, she had to plot her steps carefully. Adele knew that she'd have to find some allies if she wanted to get back at Siegell. But where to begin? Misuki Marishima Player's name: Misuki Marishima Character's name: Dahlia Curtis Gender: Female Age: 27. She looks her age. Appearance: She’s of average height, around 5 feet four. On her shoulders is a silver cape, that drapes over her back and drags slightly on the ground as she walks. The clasp on this cape is a large ruby. Her red dress also extends down to her feet, just above her red heeled shoes. Dahlia wears white gloves, no real jewelry except a silver circlet with a black gem in the middle. Her hair and eyes are both red, and her skin tone is a bit darker than the average ‘white.’ Mugshot: Class: Sage Continent of origin: Learania (Half Eyris, Half Mordache) Bio: Dahlia is a Sage whom was born of a Eyris father and a Mordache mother. She’d been raised in her mother’s native country, and later found out the reason why her father lived there… he was exiled by Eyris, for ‘knowing too much’ dark magic. The fact that Eyris would exile someone for knowledge (she didn’t care if it was because of the rumors of her father’s necromancy) made her grow to distrust the city and its people to the point where she seen it as a corrupt society in need of reform (after all, she’d heard many other stories of Eyris exiles in Mordache or elsewhere.) She saw an opportunity to change Eyris though… when she was asked by a Wyvern Lord to become his spy. This man offered Dahlia a promise of changing the corrupt society for the better, and the sage couldn’t be happier. She agreed, and after a few troublesome details of her past were bribed away, Dahlia joined the Eyris Castle Guard in order to blend in and also keep tabs on the ignorant citizens of the corrupt country. When that Wyvern Lord, Siegell, the very one she had unshakable faith in raised his spear to finally assault the place, she only wore the mask of a Guard for that much longer, before going ‘missing in battle’ and then returning to her true lord’s side to help him do whatever he must to change the rotten Eyris into a place where everyone of all magical studies and weapon studies alike could find haven. Since being in both the Castle Guard and also Siegell’s spy, Dahlia has gained a reputation to be both brutal and unforgiving. Her favorite amongst the anima tomes is now bolting, able to usually kill someone from a long distance with a single blow. Forgotten Morph Player's name: Forgotten Morph Character's name: Kishuna Gender: Male Age: 35/22; however he was dead for several hundred years between these two. Appearance: A morph, with the trademark black hair and golden eyes that show his creation. He stands about six feet tall, body lithe and sculpted; he's muscular, but not overly so. However, to be honest this muscle does not do him as much good as one would think; it was created when he was created. A morph may be flawless, but a morph's body will not physically change. Unconsciously, it seems, this morph likes to show off his 'flawless' body; he is frequently shirtless, or will be wearing something quite revealing. His pants are nearly always the same; tight and leather, with boots to match. Class: Magic Seal? Powers differ in this roleplay... Continent of origin: Elibe Bio: Kishuna was originally a human, a young mercenary just starting out his career, really. He and his friend, a man named Renault, had been working together for around three years; until an operation went awry and Kishuna was killed. He remainded dead for multiple centuries, until he found himself alive once again in a mute, twisted body. He barely escaped death, fleeing to abandoned ruins with his newfound power, and attempted to make contact with humans he believed could restore him. However, they instead attacked him, and he fled again. This was, however, only until he fell through a certain door... Now in Learania, Kishuna was found by his old friend, who seemed to have been there for a decent amount of time. Renault restored him, bringing him back to, if not his old body, a new, working one. And Kishuna was pleased, and he began to think things might go well. Then, things went wrong. That man... that accursed wyvern rider. The morph couldn't imagine how he'd ever been attracted to that b*****d. In a sudden move, Siegell had taken over the castle; in the conquest, Renault had been mortally injured. Kishuna carried him from that place, attempting to save his friend. However, he failed. Renault instead decided that he would die on his own terms, giving what was left of his quintessence to Kishuna. And the morph swore revenge. Even were he alone, he would kill that b*****d of a wyvern rider. No matter what happened to himself afterwards, he would do it. He retreated, then, taking a small abandoned outpost outside of the city as his 'keep'. And there he stayed, readying, and plotting. Table of Contents 1. Opening post 2. The Story 3. Rules 4. Deviations Here will be a little summary of all the "What-if?" deviations we're making from FEF Canon in this RP, to keep things conveniently up to score. When you bring your character in, make sure you let me know what deviations from normal (if any) affect your character-- I'll approve them so long as they're not too out-there. Use your best judgment. Deviations from Canon - Siegell got to Amelia before Rhys. - Siegell amassed an army to attack FEF Castle. - Akihi, not Alihi, came through the door to Learania. - Annis became pregnant as a result of her tryst with Castello. Characters Killed In the course of this roleplay, many characters, not all of them played by players, will be killed. This could be for a number of reasons, but it's best to keep a list, I feel, of canon characters who have died. The attack launched on FEF Castle had taken her completely off-guard.
Amelia had been busy in her quarters, trying (and failing) to patch a gaping hole in a pair of pants when the alarm had sounded. The surprise at hearing the clangor of the alarms on its own was enough to make her nearly stab her finger with the needle. The sewing implements dropped right to the floor, completely forgotten, slacks hitting the floor in a heap of torn fabric as she ran out the door.
There hadn't been much time for her to prepare; the oncoming force was moving fast, very fast. She had barely had any time to get prepared, and as such, she was standing outside the castle a few minutes later wearing only her breastplate and shoulder guards over her red collared shirt and loose white skirt. Her boots crunched the grass below her feet as she gripped a Spear tightly in her hands. The rope attached near the head, used for the purpose of pulling the Spear back after throwing, was woven between her fingers. Amelia hadn't had time to grab her gloves, and the tough, snagging fibres of the thick weave itched and scratched irritatingly at her fingers.
Amelia's eyes narrowed. She watched the area before the castle with heart-pounding anxiety. She could see the shifting shadows within the trees, only drawing closer and closer...
"Up in the sky!" shouted a Soldier nearby. Amelia's gaze snapped up; in the distance, high above the trees, was a platoon of wyvern riders, their mounts carrying... something... in their taloned hands.
Some sort of weapon? she thought, tightening her grip on her weapon. Whatever it was they carried, it wasn't distinguishable by this point. Those already amassed before the castle readied for battle as the various members of the attacking forces came out of the trees, still a good distance away. Watchmen stayed on the walls and towers of the castle, their bows or magic tomes held at the ready.

The alarm was loud and clear. Akihi laid in his bed, nose in yet another book, when the noise rang out. He sat up immediately, searching around his room for his robe. “It’s got to be around here somewhere…” He muttered, irritated. The purple garment should have been blaringly obvious with the lack-of color in his room, but it still took him a full two minutes to locate the article of clothing. Not even bothering with the sash, he grabbed the Thunder tome off of the floor and ran out the door, slamming it behind him.
He clutched the tome tightly to his chest with one hand, his other hand gripping the shaft of a Heal staff just as tightly. His knuckles were white for how strong the grip was, betraying any sense of calmness that could have been seen with him. He took a deep breath, desperate to relax. When his paranoia didn’t drop, he silently thanked himself for taking the tome with him. Often, he would fumble with the words of his spells if not completely calm and collected, and he wasn’t about to take the risk of not having the book close at hand.
The sage was farther back than Amelia was, but could still hear the Soldier’s shout. He looked up, letting a small gasp come out as the wyvern riders came into view. He squinted, trying to tell what the wyverns were carrying in their talons. He couldn’t tell, but he didn’t dwell on the possibilities too much.
Suddenly, he cursed his decision not to take the sash; he really didn’t have a way to deal with the staff while having the tome open. Wedging the staff in his armpit, he opened the Thunder, flipping through the pages to find one with the enchantment printed on it. Once he found the page, he used his thumb as a bookmark, so he could easily turn to the page once needed to.
He looked ahead, waiting.

"Leave the red knight!" Siegell roared. "I want her for myself..." He raised one hand to gesture to his enormous battalion of wyvern riders to stay back, for now. And then he pointed down, at the Falcoknights, the Generals, the Paladins, the Berserkers, the Warriors far below... He pointed down the hill toward the castle.
The rush began as the snipers at their catapults lit the oil in which the rocks were bathed and launched them at the castle.
One after the other, the flaming rocks struck the castle walls as the first wave of Siegell's army rushed through castle town, slaughtering the first line of guards on the way in.
Rocks slammed into the castle, bringing down a tower into the courtyard, killing quite a lot of guards in the process, and anything wooden caught fire a moment later.
The heat and smoke were oppressive as the east wall was obliterated and flames wreathed the castle, and the first wave of Siegell's Army hit the scene.
Axes wielded by massive Berserkers cut down soldiers as they came. Falcoknights swooped from the sky, driving their spears into the infantrymen below while Siegell himself soared over the battlefield, sweeping low around the castle.
The castle's forces handled the first wave well under the direction of General Kent, who rode across the battlefield with his axe sweeping out, bringing down an enemy Paladin and a mighty General in two powerful sweeps.
And then a flash of silver shot past him and Kent's head dropped to the ground while his body slumped off his horse. Siegell had struck from behind.
Now, silhouetted against the smoke and flames, Siegell flew slowly toward Amelia. A hand axe took care of her two guards neatly as Shastah landed on his hind legs in front of her.
Siegell's face was illuminated by the fires all around as he extended one hand to Amelia. "I won't tell if you won't," he murmured, grinning like a demon.
[[HAPPY NEW YEAR, KENT! 8D]]

The battle was fierce from the start. Before any of their attackers had even reached the castle, already ballistae were firing and crashing into the stone walls with frightening speed. The forces amassed before the castle were sent running forward to evade the flames and smoke, moving right into the first wave.
Amelia fought back with a ferocity only seen on the battlefield. She was a typically cheerful person, with a kind disposition, but this was not a peaceful atmosphere. War meant kill, or be killed. Battle, or run. Fight with your last breath, or stay back where you would be safe.
She was already out on the field; there was no thought of taking any of the second options.
The nicks and cuts from the rough rope of her Spear were petty annoyances as she moved back and forth, slinging her lance at an oncoming Fighter's throat. She yanked it right back with a mighty tug of the rope, immediately lifting the shaft to block a blow from an axe wielded by a Warrior nearby. She heard weapons crash all around her, fire or lightning whizzing through the air with deafening crashes and booms, but even so, her ears could pick out the sound of the Mercenary that fought at her left side, and the Halberdier at her right. She leveled her lance at a Berserker in the distance, a huge man raising a Hand Axe at one of their men's throat.
The Hand Axe that went flying, slicing through the Mercenary's gut and the Halberdier's neck, shocked her. She followed the path of the weapon with her eyes, gaze landing right on an all-too familiar man. A man garbed in white, astride a lean, powerful white wyvern... wearing a mask over the left side of his face.
She stared at him, as if struck dumb, for a moment. She still gripped her Spear in her hands, the nicks and cuts spreading thin streaks of red across her fingers and palms. With wreaths of flame surrounding him, giving his face a downright demonic glow, honestly... it was at once terrifying and... intriguing... in ways she didn't quite comprehend.
Amelia looked at him dazedly, her grip loosening on her Spear. One hand left it completely, a drop of blood twirling around her middle finger. The hand still holding her weapon fell limply at her side, the other reaching out. She said nothing, merely held her hand over his for a moment, hesitating; was this the right thing to do? What was going to happen if she went?
Her hand hovered there for many long moments, and then rested against his palm, a drop of red staining against his fingers.
[[Happy New Year, Kent, indeed. XD]]

(( Kent: ... THIS IS THE WORST NEW YEAR EVER! D: ))
“Get ready…” Akihi murmured to himself, gripping the tome even tighter than before. He was ready, he convinced himself. He was ready for the attack, and he was ready to defend the castle with his life.
Then, the rocks began to fly.
In shock, he stumbled forward, away from the crumbling wall of the castle. With one move, any sense of readiness he had was shattered. The sage then nearly ran into the lance of a Falcoknight. Again, he stumbled, trying to keep his footing throughout all of the chaos. If he fell, then he would be a target. If he became a target, he would surely die. His fingertips ran over the page of the tome, and he began to chant under his breath. “Thunder!!” The magic was released, aimed at the Falcoknight who nearly speared him. Turning the page, he repeated the process again and again and again, aiming at various enemy Paladins and Berserkers and Generals, trying to ignore the overpowering scents of blood and corpses and burning. His head was spinning, becoming too overwhelmed too fast. The rapid-fire magic he was performing didn’t help his situation much, either.
Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the commander fall. More accurately, he saw his head fall; the rest of Kent’s body somehow remained on his horse. He whipped around, seeing the killer, and started to chant again.
A jolt of pain in his right arm cut his spell short. Adrenaline rushed through Akihi as he released another Thunder, this time at his attacker, another Falcoknight. The blood, his blood, already began to soak his robe's sleeve, much to his dismay. He muttered a curse under his breath.
He glanced back over towards Siegell, only to see a new person by his side. The sage had seen the girl before, though he didn’t know her well enough to remember her name; although he did open up, he still did keep to himself a majority of the time. He made a mental note to start being more social once the battle ended.
“If I even make it out alive…” He thought, his eyes scanning around so he wouldn’t get caught off-guard again. He had to be ready.
