Almas watched his son as he rushed back and forth through the snow, kicking it up into the air, swinging around the stuffed pink pig in his hands, within the fenced in yard of the Labs. They were awaiting a visit from another of the Spawn from here, one who's parent had agreed to come with their son to meet with Luthor.
Almas worried that his son wouldn't be able to make friends when Almas himself was unable to leave this place for long periods of time. Stepping off the ground and out of the barrier around Labs meant stepping outside the protection it offered. If he did that it would leave him open to the danger that came with... everyone that was against what went on here.
He had only left the grounds once since coming to live here, on a task for his boss. Aside from that he really didn't see a reason to go out... which meant that Luthor was unable to go out as well until he was old enough to take care of himself. He wouldn't get as many opportunities as the other Spawn to make friends with others. So far he'd only met Ebony on a couple of occasions who came by often to meet with the angels and demons and Trinket who had come with Ebony.
Strangely though so far Luthor didn't seem to be bothered by being unable to meet anyone.

As soon as Penny brought the car to a halt Taylor undid his seatbelt flung open the door and slid out of the vehicle. Normally the boy stayed seated waiting to feel all the different parts of the car stop vibrating but today was different. Today he was going back to the facility and he was going to get to play with someone. Penny was no fun for the play he liked and Mareike was busy studying which meant Taylor had been bored for at least a day. Young and energetic this was unacceptable.
Once he was sure Penny was following him Taylor walked out over the crisp fresh snow towards where another kid was playing in it. " Hey"

Luthor turned from what he was doing, kicking snow up into the air so that it would fall back down around him, and looked at the other boy who was about his size though far more interesting looking if you asked him. He took a step closer to him, smiling, "Hello." He greeted him.
The young spawn took another step forward to get closer to this boy. He had... wings on his head, and scales on his skin... It was those scales that got Luthor's attention the most because he to had scales... though his were covered by the coat that was he forced to wear due to the color weather. Luthor was oblivious to the fact that he was starring... unable to help it due to his curiosity.

Once Taylor was only a few feet away from the other boy he paused. " I'm Taylor , what's your name?" He asked winding his tail around his legs to help keep it warm in the chill winter weather. Thought it was cool there was nothing too bad about playing outside he just needed to keep his tail from getting buried in snow or anything.

Taylor's voice broke Luthor from his starring and made him realize that he had been starring, "I'm Luthor." He said, giving a grin as he introduced himself before taking as step closer to the newcomer. Oh cool, he had a tail too! It made Luthor somewhat envious when he met others, they all had such cook features... he just had a tiny little horn that wasn't good for anything but headbutting and some scales that were covered by his coat.
He shook off the feeling and reached a hand out, curious as to what Taylor's scales felt like.

Taylor unwound his tail from his legs and reached it out the curl loosely aroudn the other boy's outstretched hand. It wasn't fully prehensile but this it could manage. " That's a neat name." he said noticing for the first time the other boy's small horn. It was on the head but different in colour and shape from the pair his sister had. That made him unique and cool at least to Taylor.
" So what do you want to do?" They could make snowmen or have a snow fight or play tag. Taylor was good at that game.

Luthor gave a little giggle as the tail caught hold of his hands and he lifted his hand up so he could look the tail over curiously. That was so neat! He gave a smile before looking over at his companion, "Anything is good by me." He said, "Don't get many visitors... so... if you want to pick?" He would be happy with any game at the moment and since the other boy had to travel to come here it was only fair to let him pick.

Taylor grinned but made no move to remove his tail from around the other boy's hand, especially after he'd caught him looking at it. The pride child didn't mind being admired a little. Although he did think it's be cool to have is tail and a horn like Luthor's, sadly it was not meant to be.
" Why don't we make snow men and than we can kind of take pieces off or add them on to make them look like us." Taylor figured if he started with a snowman first he might find it easier to make a different shape out of that.
Slower than her child, Penny finally made her way over to the other adult. " Hi, I'm penny I hope you weren't waiting too long."

Luthor gave a nod of his head as he looked around. There was plenty of snow here, more then enough for them to make some really awesome snow men with. They just had to start with the base first that was the three balls of snow stacked up on each other, "How big do we want them?" He asked of Taylor, the bigger they were the harder it would be to get them together... unless he could get his Daddy to help with the lifting.
Almas looked over at the woman, his good eye taking her in and gave a smile, "It's nice to meet you Penny. My name is Almas." He introduced himself before assuring her, "No, not long at all. The time went quickly, Luthor enjoys playing in the snow."

" Same size as us so not too big." Any bigger. and they wouldn't be able to reach to mold them later anyways. That said the red and blue eyed boy dropped into the crouch and began to mold snow into the the first snowball he would have to roll. " We can make both at once and roll the balls side by side" he suggested having learned the hard way that unless you were making a huge snowman it was hard to make building them a group activity becuase you couldn't roll more than one body part at once or you risked messing up the sizes and having a fat funny looking snowman.
Penny smiled at that, traffic hadn't been bad and it hadn't been a long drive but she'd have hated to have left the pair out in the cold waiting especially if they were bored. Not that she imagined Almas had been playing.
Watching Taylor begin rolling a snow ball she shook her head " I apologize in advance I don't think you're going to have much snow left on the grounds by the time they are done."

Luthor gave a nod of his head, lowering himself to the ground so he could start rolling his own ball of snow. He would have to keep reminding himself that he was making a small snow man and to keep the ball small though it was tempting to see how big he could get one... Maybe they could do that next. Would be funny to just leave a giant ball of snow in the yard, maybe put it on one of the walking paths or in front of a door.
Almas gave a smile, "I am sure those in charge of keeping the snow cleaned up will be glad for that." He said, watching the pair as they worked on their project, curious to see how it turned out.

Taylor was quickly focused on making his own first ball. Using his tail to push it once it got large enough to roll. It was always sort of fun for the boy to see what sorts of things the appendage could do. " I bet we make the best snow people ever and every else will be jealous when they come to see " he said conversationally to Luthor. " They had fresh pure snow and plenty of time and Taylor was pretty positive it couldn't be too hard to make snow look like stuff.

Luthor looked down at the snowball that he was working on rolling forward and gave a bright sort of smile, "You think so?" He asked, curiously. He would have to do his best to make sure the snow ball that he was rolling was a good one if they were wanting to make other people jealous with their snowy arts.

Taylor nodded " We can do anything if we try and we have all the stuff we need and it's a nice day we can stay out here forever till it's perfect." At least Taylor assumed they could, time was still a relative concept to the boy. As his snowball got a little bigger and heaver it took more of his tail to push it forward, eventually he was going to have to use his hands.
