Another yawn was stifled as Lai viewed the titles of books in the library, another night without decent rest and it was showing. Beneath his currently bespectacled blue-gray eyes were shadows that, to him, seemed to get darker every morning when he looked into the mirror. He couldn't figure out the cause of his recent bout of sleeplessness, but for now he couldn't worry about it. As he reached the end of the shelf the Russian man shook his head, nothing simple enough.

Since the Masquerade, which had ended but a few days before, he had been thinking and planning up a guideline to teach the Korean recruit Hyo English. Ideas had come and gone and he had written them all down, but today in his tiredness he had left the few sheets of notes in his room. No matter, he was just here to find some simple books to start Hyo off with and he could easily take them upstairs, write the titles down, and bring them back.

"Hm..." He knelt down, hidden behind a tall case. "Maybe something here will be of some use."

Lai was certain he would eventually find something and since he had no other engagements planned, he could and probably would spend the day in the large book room. Though part of him, the overtired, unsure part, hoped that would not be the case.
