Somewhere about 30 miles from the Main House, a peaceful little home is kept at an undisclosed location. Few of the Resistance members even know where it is, and it is hard to get to even if you do. Hidden completely from off-road sight, the house contains everything needed to camp out for some weeks when a hidden place is necessary. It is quite comfortable, with plenty of sleeping rooms and lounging areas, a kitchen, laundry room, conference room, two offices, supply room, garage, three full bathrooms, attic, dining room, basement, and a countless number of hiding spaces(in no particular order).

((Ihatechu! You're always one post ahead of me. I came in to make one for the safe house, and you already did it. I was going to switch from the Rim to the safe house, and you're already giving instructions to do so. XD))
Keeli eased the car through and waited for him to close the screen and get back in. She nervously picked at her fingernails over the steering wheel. She felt only marginally safer when it slid back into place. She considered suggesting moving again once they cooled down and came up with a better plan. Until then she hoped the gunman hoped they hauled a** out of town as far as they could as overshot them in an attempt to catch up.

((Lol, win. What can I say? I'm an on-the-ball kind of guy. XD ))
Jogging back to the car, Alex slid into the passenger seat panting slightly. "Alright, we're good. In all the years I've been part of the Resistance, nobody who wasn't supposed has found this place. Let's go." The driveway leading to the house was fairly long, but he knew they'd get there quick. At that particular moment Alex was just excited about the shower and change of clothing waiting inside, along with the possibility of some sleep.

When he got back to the car she hit the gas, slowly this time as they bumped down the unpaved drive. "That's comforting. Hopefully that guy back there just hit the jackpot with the club. I should give the car a good run-over once we get to the house, make sure he didn't pin it in the parking lot with something before he came in and found us." That would certainly ruin her already unsalvageable day.

Alex gripped the arm rest as they bumped along, nearing the garage of the house. "Huh, I didn't think of that, good idea. Although, considering we came straight from HQ, he'd have to have figured out first that we were there, and second which car was ours. Otherwise he'd have to tag all the cars in the area. Seems like a lot more work than most would bother with." by that point they had reached the garage, and Alex pressed a button in the car that opened it. He grinned. "Bet ya didn't know what that one was for anyway."

"Unless he spotted us in the parking lot and followed us from the car into the club, planting something on my baby before coming in after us. But hey, if you really don't think it's necessary for me to check the car for bugs or bombs..." she teased, shaking her head. She made a note never to use Alex's safety logic over her own if it involved a deeper level of thinking. He could be the guns any day.
"I've wondered about the button. It never did anything when I pushed it before." Unless, of course, it was opening and closing garages in secret safehouses all over the countryside whenever she stuck her thumb on it out of curiosity.

Alex's look was a bit blank. "Oh...hmm. Yeah, guess you should check." Finally they were parked in the garage where he felt safe enough to get out of the small, rather cramped car, and stretch. "Well, I don't think it works long distance really, so I doubt you were messing with this place any if you did actually press it." He smiled, stretching his arms above his head and behind his back.

Keeli didn't realize how much she'd crashed from her adrenaline rush until she got out of the car and found her knees a bit wobbly. That was the downside to excitement--the aftershock. Shaking off the feeling of weirdness she encountered, she stepped around the front of the car and checked under the hood.
First she went through the motor. There was plenty of hardware to sneak a tracker in with little notice. She knew the car's insides better than she knew her own and found nothing out of place. She was far from through. Getting a flashlight from one of the emergency boxes in the car, she got on her back and slid underneath the car to check it thoroughly there.
She continued her inspection diligently. "Well, she seems clean..." she called to Alex, only her legs extending from beneath the car. "But I don't trust that Product as far as I can spit. You'd think he has it in for us, the way he acts," she joked.

"One might get that impression....."Alex replied, chuckling. he glanced around the garage, noting what appeared to be a sheet-covered vehicle. Removing the covering revealed a tough-looking car, which seemed well equipped upon further inspection. "Hey, I found us a ride to use since that one's gonna need a break," He called to Keeli while she was beneath their previous car.

Keeli rolled out from under the car, wiping her hands and clicking off the flashlight she'd been using. "Looks like a clean getaway." Shoving her hands in her pockets, she sauntered up to look at their new ride, face glowing as soon as she saw it. "Lovely. Looks like it might come with some fun toys."
She turned to head to the house. "I'm hungry. You hungry? I was thinking something pasta-y. Or tacos. What do you want?"

"You read my mind. Except for the tacos, them not so much. Pasta sounds good though." Alex headed past Keeli and led the way into the house, going directly to the kitchen where he began to throw cupboards open in search of what they wanted. "This place is usually pretty well stocked, so there should be some around here some where...." He mumbled, pushing around boxes of mac-'n-cheese and cans of soup.

"You're my hero if you can find tortellini," she announced, also poking through refrigerator to investigate for their meal. There were no fresh fruits or vegetables, but what did she expect? Somebody to come replace spoilable foods weekly just in case somebody needed to pop in and hide out? Right.
"So what's the verdict?" she asked, closing the fridge. "What do we eat?"

Alex appeared next to Keeli by the fridge, reaching over her to the freezer. "Usually keep tortellini in here..." He said, and momentarily produced a bag. Grinning, he handed it to her and went in search of a pot.

She tossed the bag on the counter near the stove and hopped up next to it. "Hero points go to Master Chef Alex," she announced brightly. She held the bag in her lap, trying to open the seal without exploding it. They needed to make these things user friendly. She finally popped the seal and set it back down beside her.

After some amount of searching and banging a pan sat boiling water on the stove, finally ready to have tortellini poured into it. Once the pasta was cooking, Alex leaned back against the counter with wooden stirring spoon in hand, making sure it didn't over flow. "So, what do you think of the Safe House then?" He asked.
((We have been abandoned...... T.T))
