Okay so yeah, I'm Rayne. This is my little journal thing.

I felt left out and wanted one really bad.

I hate writers block with a burning passion.
It sucks to the point of sucking.
I can't write without wanting to throw everything I write away and all my ideas are becoming clichè or uninteresting. It makes me mad because I have great ideas in my head but they don't come out on paper or word possessor the way I'm thinking them.
I feel dyslexic.
I need a way to get over writers block or avoid it all together.

Hmm writer's block is a pain, something I have right now figuring out my new lead character.

What I find is I either read books, take my mind off it and go back to it. Or I dream about it xD Haha.

But ow, good luck with that one!

Ribbon got rid of her writer's block for however long it decides to stay gone and got two chapters to her story written.
biggrin
Now she is happy.

Also, it's her birthday today so she is super extra happy.

Happy Birthday!

and great job at beating down that writers block. I talk to my very good friend - also a writer - or write fanfiction when I get it. Usually breaks it.

None of my friends are into writing like I am.
:/
I generally have to wait it out in order to pick up a story when writers bllock gets to me. Though, sometimes it goes away faster if I start a new story.
This time it wasn't an opinion seeing as how I have one story on hiatus, two in progress and two more just sitting on my computer waiting for me to actually write something.
If I started another one the people who read the two that are in progress would no doubt track me down and beat me.

Happy New Years!
I had to tell you guys that biggrin

Well I had a good birthday.
My dad surprised me big time with a cake at my almost-mom's house.

Let me elaborate on the almost-mom thing because a lot of people get confused.
She is my best friends mom and she's like mine because I don't have one. I'm constantly over there, I call her mom, I basically live over at her house on my breaks and weekends. Even more so now since my friend got married and moved out.

So back on the cake thing. My dad went over there - without me knowing - dropped off the cake with mom. When he left she called me and told me about it and then told me that my dad said, "Well I thought she'd have more fun here than just with me and Willie [my brother William]. You're like a second family to her anyways."

I bawled when I found that out because my dad usually doesn't pick up on that type of stuff.

Countdown until my next birthday: 11 months, 27 days.
Yay!
xD

Anyways yeah, writers block is slowly rearing it's ugly head again but I'm trying to beat it back with a stick. People who read my story were so ecstatic when I updated that I don't want to disappoint them again. True I only write for my amusement and could stop whenever I wanted but I enjoy it when they tell me that they enjoyed the chapter and want me to update again soon.

Eh, thinking of which I have a story to update.
Oops.

I can sympathize with this. I have a story that I started, a friend of mine was into (and even made a fanclub online for it...), but I put it off for something else. Now the story is dead. I think my friend got over it, but I simply lost interst and changed the protagonist too much for her to work in that story.

Happy belated birthday, and Happy New Year as well. It was nice to hear you had a good one in both cases. On writer's block: when I get stuck, I work on different pieces of the same story. There is no rule that says it has to be written in order.

Nope... I do that too often myself. Sometimes - I just get inspiration for one part and I just have to jolt it down. I wish it was in order... but *sigh* my MC doesn't seem to agree with me
