Legadema trotted away from the StarShadow Falls with a joyous heart, head held high and paws light. Each step raised a little puff of dirt and spurred her to a slightly faster speed... Until she was all but dancing across the dry ground in order to escape the rising clouds of dirt.
Amusement filled her as she pranced and leapt, until she was laughing as she ran full-out, her orange coat glinting in the sunshine. The slight damp of her earlier swim was quickly fading away, the diamonds melting beneath the sun or in the wind of her speed.
"Now this..." She murmured to herself. "This is life."

The clouds of dust that were being raised by her paws could be seen from the distance. A few small animals had even stopped to watch as the orange streak played from one spot to the other, perched on top of a lonely acacia. Some even wondered whether there was some relation to the very still figure laying on the shade, a tad blinding on his part. However, there was nothing for show, it was just a perfect stranger. A perfectly lazy, that is. And Toxascaris Leon would have remained napping if the thumping of Legadema's paws didn't pluck him out of it, prying an eye open. Damn, he couldn't even have a moment (more) of peace and quiet to wallow on his hunger? Tox sighed deeply, wishing that it was a gazelle or a zebra (and why not a giraffe?) coming his way to gracefully stay still and let him eat it. That would have been so goooooood... "Psheh, ya right..." Tox groaned, rolling to the other side. He'd have to go hunting... soon... blah...

Her path wound from the edge of the forest, back and forth across the plains and meadow, to the edge of a small like, past a meercat colony, over a stream and through another sand-pit expanse.
Graceful bounds, elegant leaps, playful steps; each move was graceful and fluid. Her game of nothing would have kept on, accept she drew close enough to the acacia to note the orange lion napping in the shade.
"Oh..." She murmured, coming to a sudden halt. "Hello there... Lovely day, isn't it? I am Legadema, and you?"
He looked... Sleepy, to be honest.

Since it wasn't edible (without weighing on his conscience anyway... or was it because it could put up a fussy fight?), Tox just wished that the lioness would keep energically bouncing away, away, far far away. Unless it was to provide him with something, other lions were such a hassle... Especially lively, giddy, bouncy... Darn, she was talking to him. First a ear flicked to her, then his head stretched to face her, laying on his chin. She didn't seem to be the kind that'd go away if ignored... Double darn. "It's just a day, what's so special about it?" he mumbled. Should he say his name? Nah, what was the use, she'd bounce off and they'd never meet again, and then he'd have wasted around... four words? Nah, not worth it.

Ok, not really sleepy. More comatose... If living cost him any sort of effort, he looked like he might expire from the thought of it then and there. What a peculiar male...
"It's a beautiful day." She argued as she took a step closer, frowning at him. "Why are you laying there as though breathing makes you want to drop dead? Are you ill? Do you need a Shaman? I know one..."
Would she get to Shira and back in time? It didn't seem like it. "Is it the heat that is bothering you?"
She was beginning to get concerned.
