9th Grade→ Science // Math // PE // Lunch // History // Literature // Writing // Break // Performing Arts // Free 10th Grade→ Math // History // PE // Lunch // Literature // Science // Writing // Break // Performing Arts // Free 11th Grade→ History // Writing // PE // Lunch // Literature // Math // Science // Break // Performing Arts // Free 12th Grade→ Math // Writing // PE // Lunch // Science // Literature // History // Break // Performing Arts // Free → On Half Days classes will be taken up to Lunch→ Core Classes are 60mins long, PE & Lunch are 45mins long, Break is 15mins long, Electives & Performing Arts are 45mins long. → School starts at 7:00am and ends at 3:40pm

 Core Classes: Mandatory Classes Required to Graduate. You need: xxxTwo Science Credits xxxThree Math Credits xxxFour English Credits xxxThree History Credits
What does this mean? It means that if you choose not to in 11th and 12th grade, you may opt out of science. And in 12th grade you may opt out of Math and History too!
But that's not recommended. Extra credits always look good on your transcript!
9th Grade:
Science Courses xxxo Earth Science xxxxxxEarth Science is a laboratory-based course that is vital to student transition from Middle School to High School. Earth science studies a broad spectrum of geologic, oceanic, atmospheric and space related events that occur on and around our planet. xxx Emphasis will be placed on problem solving, laboratory skills, writing skills, as well as the physical and chemical aspects of Earth Science.
Math Courses xxxo Algebra I xxxxxxIncluded in this course is the real number system, linear equations and their graphs, xxx inequalities, polynomials, rational expressions, quadratic equations and functions.

English Courses xxxo Creative Writing
xxxo Journalism xxxxxxThis course will introduce students to concepts, skills and modes of writing common to journalism. The aim is to enable students to develop effective communication, interpritation and problem-solving skills through authentic experience. Students will write for the School news paper and news website. xxxStudents will learn the basics of desktop publishing and newspaper layout and write a variety of journalistic modes, including news, feature, opinion, and sports.

Performing Arts: You have to take a performing arts course. If you choose to take two courses (max) then you will lose the choice to take an elective.

Foreign Language : Everyone must take one foreign language. There are levels 1-3, level 1 being the easiest/beginner level. Also there is a Writing Reading class offered to those who have already surpassed level 3.
