So I was at the market I work at a few days ago and this sherrif woman was buying her groceries. I spotted in her hip holster the standard G17, but it had the extended 19-round plate and a set of Trijicon night sights. I was going to ask her about it, but she kind of looked like she wanted to take off in a hurry. Still, I commend her for it. If you've got a Glock, I guess you might as well do something to it to make it better. Any of you guys spot LEOs with unstandard or modified equipment?

I have seen quite a few cops with nickel-plated 1911s, with what looked like Walnut grips, and the extended 10 round mags. Most cops I have seen with Glocks have this type of rear sight

All the cops that I've seen with Glocks had theirs pretty standard.
However, the one with the Springfield XD had night sights.
The others had some types of revolvers.

 These are pretty damn good... a little weird to get used to. but they work well. I've seen some of my local LEO's carrying a wide range of weapons. I've seen some high end 1911's, SIG's, GLOCK, an XD here and there. I've seen some custom work. some after market stuff... BUt for the most part the GLOCK's have mostly been stock.

I kind of want to see a pistol with the Gutternsnipe sight on it, but it's proprietary and was only used on the S&W ASP, which failed for other reasons. They should bring it back and mount it on a tiny pistol for self defense or something.

Fresnel I kind of want to see a pistol with the Gutternsnipe sight on it, but it's proprietary and was only used on the S&W ASP, which failed for other reasons. They should bring it back and mount it on a tiny pistol for self defense or something. My S&W snub-nosed has a sight kind of like that.

I only know of two guns that have it: the ASP and the ASP2000.  Does want.
