-Vroengard Volcano-
A very active volcano in the sea that can be clearly seen from both the Kuasta and the Teirm ports and any high point on The Spire. Once a year this volcano erupts sending small, slightly able to feel, shock wave into the ground that don’t go past The Spire Mountains. Every eruption makes the mountain housing the volcano grows larger and larger. Now as big Leona Lake, Vroengard can been seen smoking at all times. The red embers of the smoke can always prove to be beautiful site to some during the night when watched.
Before the war, the elves believe that this smoking mountain housed hundreds of dragons that would constantly have fire battles. Soon after, Vroengard became elfin territory. Rumors came up before the war that elves had suddenly shown alot of interest in this volcano and travel to it frequently. When the elves vanished, many believed that elfin population ran off to this volcano to set up a new home. Though, after many yearly eruptions the possibly became nothing more than false theory.
Months after an eruption, when the water calm and cool, people from Teirm will sail to the mountain to harvest the sharp volcanic rock that had cooled. This rock is worked with to make glass and tools made for cutting, sometimes, in certain diseases, the volcanic rock can be used for medicine. Vroengard had no mean of access except through the nonexistent means of flight. Steep and high cliffs surround the entire edge of the mountain that are constantly battered and attacked by seas large waves.
People still do not understand what causes the sea mountain to erupt violently. Three hundred years ago a ritual was made to show respect to mountain after four ships that went to see the eruption up close were sunk within seconds. Fearing the mountain, the people on the western side of Spire Mountains gather together on Kosciec Beaches to pay respect. As time moved on and more knowledge of how the Farthen-Dur lands worked people slowly began to turn the ritual into a party.
*Note: Only way to get to this Volcano is through any means of flying.*
