-Carvahall-
A small village nestled in the middle of The Spire. Carvahall has been source of much disapproval in the eyes of the people of Farthen-Dur. Not only has the village not expanded, it has not advance period. Carvahall is still same size as it was six hundred years ago. No one had moved into the village, only the original families remained that first built Carvahall so long ago. Much like the larger village of Hedarth, Carvahall remains isolated at most time.
The Spire that once only rested on the north side of Carvahall has now surrounded the small village on all sides. Without traveling across The Spire the Anora River is the only means of access to Carvahall, like the Toark River. However, unlike the Toark River, The Spire grows right along the edges of twisting river. Despite being surrounded by The Spire cold climate, Carvahall own climate moves normally giving it its own summer, fall, spring, and winter.
Five hundred years ago Carvahall was attacked by the King before The Spire surrounded the village. However the village remained mostly unharmed and all of it villagers lived, with the exceptions of a few small wounds. This is only village that is known for where the King ever retreated away from in his entire reign. The Spire had lashed out him, killing his troops without mercy before going after him. With the aid of his dragon and luck he was able to get high enough in the sky and out of the reach of an enraged mountain. Back then it was unknown why The Spire lashed out the King and why the dangerous mountains seemly offered it protection to the small village.
A scholar made the trip to Carvahall, seeking an answer nearly three hundred ago, after The Spire had stop growing around the village. There this scholar found an unbelievable tale that he would keep at all times to him only and never speak of it to anyone. It was there he learned of the Tamer of the Spire.
He learned that a young girl had fled in The Spire to escape the King’s guards that chased her, wishing to rape and kill her. The guards were to blind and overconfident and followed her in. He was told of the screams and cries the villagers heard soon after and the astonishment of seeing the young child walking out from the misty wood line of the Spire, unharmed. It was unclear even to them of why The Spire had allowed her live but soon after The Spire would allow her safe travel through its mountains at all time. The villagers soon found out that she had some form of communication with The Spire and with her help Carvahall would soon become under the protection of The Spire, as well as its inhabitants. The scholars would soon after find him in the presence of the same women that long ago befriended The Spire. She would be the one to guide him safely back out of the forest and ask him to promise to keep his findings a secret. The women also wanted him to speak poorly of Carvahall to keep people way and so he did.
There after Carvahall would be all but forgotten if it wasn’t for the village that lived in The Spire Mountains.
*So ya know: The Spire Mountains does more that protect a town and attack those that enter, it also holds a very large secret.*

The town roared to life with the rising of the sun like every other day. The morning bells chimed and echoed throughout the village, waking its inhabitants. Farmers went to fields, butchers to the woods, blacksmiths to the mines, and more.
Today was the day that the extension for the Blacksmith Horst house to be built for his new baby that was to be born soon. A young girl. The tall muscle bond man walk out onto his porch and stretched, ready to get to work on the babies room. The next two hours were spent gathering up materials to beginning work, now he just needed one more thing. The muscle that even he could not provide.
"Where ever you are...your late," hollered Horst into the sky. His voice was met with the rattling of his house windows as something of great size zoomed overhead in the air. Horst turned around to be greated by black and silver dragon three times the size of a large draft horse. The dragon reared up as it landed on hind legs before going to all fours. A strong shake rumbled through its body as it shook its body to loosen up and makes its wings grew back into its scaled shoulder blades and vanished. "Sorry, the Spire need my attention for a moment," apologized the dragon softly as she bowed her head to Horst.
Horst chuckled and threw his arms up in the air, "Its not problem...I just need someone to help lift some of these beams and you drew the short straw Relena." He heard Relena chuckle as she passed him. She wrapped the tip of her around a beam, "So, where you want this," asked Relena as she lifted it with ease into the air.
Relena Malin Qwon. Once a farmer girl of Carvahall so long ago, she had found a dragon egg, become a dragon rider, fought the king all the way to the final war, and survived. She was sure she had been forgotten by now, but she was called protector over the last village that remember and embrace the dragon riders and what was once. The final battle had left her dragon wound, mortally, having it slowly died. Due to their strong connection the two merged into one being and became as the Dragon Lady was...a dragoon. Despite the past being forgotten, Relena was still fully involved in the past and forgotten world, doing everything she could to stay connected to it. She made sure to do so. She did hate to be outside the loop. Due to this, Spire and Carvahall has become an unknown outpost for those of the past and the things that still existed from the past. Now she watched over the world as the last dragon related creature until her death. She was alone and only death would be reward to returned to those she loved and cared for. Mai, Wanda, Brom, Ryu, Sang, the other dragons, the drawves and elves that she once new so closely that fell in battle, and more. She was truely alone, only the villages of Carvahall kept her fighting the battle against death to insure it protections.

Gwendolen has risen as soon as the sun had rose into the sky. Her makeshift camp was on the outskirts of the town. She had recently found a brightly colored stone on her way out of The Spire, it now rested in her backpack. She cleaned up her camp and started walking towards town.

Relena walked around the newly built, admiring the new work she and Horst had just completed. Acrhing her back to the sun, hearing the wonderful popping sounds of her back releasing builted up pressure, her arms reached out with the claws digging into the ground. Shaking off the stretch Horst came up to her, hands on his hips.
"Thank you," he said cheerfully, giving her scaled shoulder an hearty pat," without your help this would have taken weeks!"
Relena bowed her head for a respond before tightening her shoulders. This action caused her wings sprout out from the hidden pockets under her skin and spread out wide as they quickly dried for flight. "Just tell me when your wife is close to giving birth. I wish to insure the sucess of the infant birth." With that, and one beat of her large strong wings, Relena soared into the air. Her roar echoed throughout the lands, able to be heard down in Carvahall. It marked her soon arrive in the village square.
((Brising...is Gwen a resident of Carvhall or traveller? If she is a traveller, she would have had a hard time traveling through the spire and all. Be sure to read up on the thread profiles and all to get a better idea of what is going on. Sadly the encyclopedia is not completed as of yet.))

((She was visiting the Spire, briefly. So, yes she is a resident of Carvahall.))
Gwen heard a thunderous roar throughout the valley. She reached the town and stopped in the square to look up at the sky. She saw Relena flying about. She put up her hand and waved, she had heard many wondrous stories about the Dragon Lady. How she had vanquished the evil king and was the only know living rider.

Relena saw Gwen and her wave below in the square and double back to greet her. Changing to her human form in mid-air, she landed on all fours making a crater in the ground. She rose slowly into an stand stretching her muscles and joints to make sure everything shifted back properly as she made her way to Gwen.
"It is good to see you Gwen. Did the Spire play nice?" Relena gave a soft smiled to young girl.

"Yes, it did. Which reminds me.... I found something while I was there," she replied. She knelled down and pulled the brightly colored stone out of her backpack. "See?" she asked as she held the stone up to Relena.

Relena reared back at that the sight of the stone. Had the elves missed one?! The moment the word "elves" crossed Relena's mind, she began to feverishly turned her head in all directions, looking around her surroundings. Taking them in. She expected an elf to jump out at any minute and pounce on the two. Once assured that Carvahall was normal and safe for the moment, she relaxed slightly and gave the stone a closer look.
It was indeed a dragon egg!
Relena looked up to Gwen with seriuos expression, "Where did you find this stone Gwen?" If found in the Spire, then it could explain why the elves didn't have it locked away somewhere. "...and, how did you find it," questioned Relena as she contined speaking.

Gwen became frightened at Relena'a expression, being a sixteen year old she did that often with her elders when they used that tone of voice at her. "I was walking to my normal camp site in the Spire when I tripped over something. I looked to see what it was, thinking it was a root, and saw the stone. I spent the night in the Spire then met you here," she answered, not as scared as she was before. "Why do you ask?"

Relena straightened and moved back from Gwen, raising on her toes, "Grab your things..." Her voice was more like that of animal than human as fangs adorned her mouth before she lower her hand and pushed her shoulder foward.
Relena body began to contort and shift as she took her dragon form. She jerked her head up to sky and threw back her shoulders bring her arms close to her side. Her body began to grow taller as her feet lengthened and become wide with talons growing go from the end. Her spine popped and cracked as it grew in length making her chest expand outward. Legs buckled into the shape of an animals hindquarters, the shin's falling foward with the thighs expanding as the muscle grew underneath the skin. A tail juncted out from behind and lash around violenting, making snapping sounds in the air as it flung off a clear liguid coating that disolved in the air. Relena hands contorted in jerky, violent movements as the bones grew and claws replace her nails replacing the human hand with a much larger scaled version. A dragons body fell from its hindlegs and onto it front ones that hid its head from viewing. Gargling noise shifting into growls before the head snapped up into the air with long, broad jaws open wide. An earth shaking roar filled the sky becoming deeper as it quieted.
Relena snapped her head around a bit, snapping her jaws to release built up tension as her body shook of the new change. Her eyes open for a split second relieving her green human eyes before blinking to relieve the red dragon eyes that took their place, doning the completion of her transformation.
Relena turned slowly until she was perpendicular with Gwen, going down on the front arm close to the young girl. Jaws with sharp teeth spoke a loud, "Get on...we have much to talk about...elsewhere" A pair of large, wide wings sprouted out from their hidden pockets under the skin around the shoulder blades, falling the ground.

Gwen did as she was told and gathered up her things, putting the egg back in her pack. After Relena changed and spoke to her again, she hopped on the dragoness's back at the base of her neck. "Where are we going?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her as it sometimes did.

Relena turned her head around and looked at Gwen, "To the spire." With that she took to the air, gently, as to not throw Gwen from her back.
((Continue in the Spire Mountains.))

After about 9 days after Sangs puppet had departed from the house far on the edge of the Du Weldenvarden Forest. his feet had long left the comfortable grounds of a cleared road. one frequented by traders, merchants, and a common populace of travelers. with only the songs of birds and the howls of wolves to keep him companey his progress slowed drastically. doing his best to conform to the edges of the Anuna River so he knew that eventually he was going to get near his goal. but his perception of time had long been lost. the spire mountains cast a shadow over his eyes for most of the day. and at night the power of the moon dared to tempt him into a twilight. but as the river stopped its long and careless curve and headed straight up into the mountains cradle he knew he was getting close. and perhaps he could get a reprieve for his feet and legs for a few nights.
"Yes... in any case im sure I'll will have to be waiting for the word to get around town and then into her ear before she will come down to meet me... but ether way if she shows up or not i will have to head into the Weldenvarden on my own in about two weeks time. so my time here is limited..."
letting out a long sigh the puppet forgets his worry of time and was just hoping that he was going to find the dragon queen in good enough health to offer some assistance in the matter.

After getting into the small city of Carvahall, Sangs puppet got a room with one of the local merchants that was still willing to take outsiders. paying up front did tend to help the mans nerves slightly. that coupled with the promise of leaving in a few weeks time, just enough to get his shoes re-souled and some fresh provisions. as the days rolled by the puttpe eventually found himself actually working in the store owners fields helping hi keep track of his goods and eating the meals with him as if they were father and son. but at the end of every day the man would walk out into the city square and just stay there. looking like a young an waiting for his love or a man taking in the sights of the mountain sky at night. ether way he was left alone as he did indeed wait. waiting for what he hoped would happen.
"I know Sang did not send me out here for nothing. he did his best to keep tabs or up with her after she left. but trying to keep up with some one who only wanted to be left alone proved to be difficult. " the ma thinks to himself as he sits on the cold stone flooring of the road looking towards the stars. "Three more days, Relena... After that. if you are alive. im afraid you'll have to play catch up. on the open plains between your mountains and the forest of the elf's." /he whispers softly as he heads back to the shop to turn in for a few hours of sleep till the morning sun rose for another day.
