RP Links: While I'm taking some liberties and not including links for RPs, since they were never done, I don't suggest anyone do the same. This was all decided between Darkeh and me when Sydna and Blake were first colored and the shop created, and fleshed out from there. Sometimes it's nice to be the owner. wink Description of Area: A large valley marks the main herd grounds with a few surrounding smaller ones along it's border, broken up by the foothills of the nearby mountains and dotted by small groves of trees. Within these hills are natural caves, the largest of which is where the royal family and their guests live, with smaller nearby ones occupied by the rest of the herd.

General
1.) No whining, begging, or complaining...this is a loving herd, and we expect you to treat others the way you want to be treated as well.
2.) Do not beg for breedings/wisps
3.) Please do not curse
4.) Please, when you are joining the pride, introduce your kirin in a post, wait to be accepted AND THEN PM me with the information. (credit for this rule goes to Lat for her idea in Pride Lands)
5.) I reserve the right to add/change rules as I see fit to best serve the herd and the thread.
Herd-specific Rules (DO NOT SKIP)
1.) Males are allowed into the Pride.
2.) They may leave when they reach the teen age or as adults.
3.)Females must ask permission before leaving the herd, and provide a GOOD reason.
4.) The king has the right to challenge anyone he sees as a threat.
5.) There will be no killing of kirins just for fun, or at all for that matter
6.) None have the right to Challenge for Kingship
7.) Elders/Leaders shall be respected, and give Respect to all

Role: Elder who advises the king, witnesses treaties and alliances.Shaman: Open
Role: Tribe/Prides Healer. This Kirin oversees birthing, and will tend wounded, sick, or dying lions in the hopes of reviving them. Royals: Open - Blake, Selene (royal guest from another herd)
Role: Princes, Princesses who are Wisps or Foals, and don't have another Herd RankingLead Warrior: Bayne
Role: King's Second, Leads Warriors against other enemies. Warriors: Open

Dislikes: Stupidity, Arrogance, and anyone who seeks to harm his family or herd.
Personality: He seems at first very strict and not very personable, but it's only cause honor is so important to him, being and acting as a King should at all times. However, once one comes to know him, he is actually friendly and will listen to anyone who needs a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen, however his motto would probably "I'm a gentleman but not a pushover." He is a bit hard on his son, Blake, though, trying to train him in the role that he will take.

Rank in Herd: Prince
Mate: Eventually will be Synda (though Selene is trying her damndest)
Likes: Being romantic, making the ladies happy, roses and other flowers
Dislikes: Jerks, Dalphine (only cause she talks too much at the moment...she drives everyone away xd ), drama, people who destroy his beautituful gardens he likes to cultivate.
Personality: He's very sweet, giving, an old-fashioned romantic, and a kid at heart. He can be stern when he needs to be, but typically is very laid back and happy kind of guy.
Bio: The only heir to be the next king of his father's current herd, he's been groomed his whole life to take over when his dad gave up the throne, and he's worked hard to please his family. But, Blake found he wasn't happy....that something was missing. He tried to talk to his family, espcially his mother, but she didn't want to listen, telling him he should be happy cause everything he ever needed or wanted was right here. The other members of his family parroted the same thing and so he gave that up. Frustrated, he thought things over and having made up his mind, one night while they were sleeping, he left to experience more of the world for himself and perhaps find the thing that he feels is missing his life.
In his travels, he met and fell in love with Synda, and plain and simple mare who's spent most of her life alone and in a little valley where she met very few kirin. He'd finally convinced her to come with him, when he was discovered by his father's Royal Guard, Bayne. Dragged home against his will (but happy to at least have Synda by his side), he was immediately introduced to Selene who's since been trying to win over his love to increase her own status and importance. After being nearly raped by her erotic massage, he's since pushed her aside and increased his attentions on the one mare he does want to be with, much to Selene's increased anger which he hopes will drive her away eventually if he ignores her long enough. He's now facing increased pressure from his father, who's under the wrong impression that it's Synda who's after his status and not Selene, to 'date' Selene and get to know her and dump the little plain mare, which he is outright refusing to do, glad to know that at least his mother agrees with him.

She was trained in the ways of being helpful to the herd such as a messenger or a sitter for the foals. Personality: Amaya is quite motherly, though very naive. She can sometimes read too far into things, and often thinks too much on a certain subject. She means well enough, and can sometimes be scared of the dark. Assigned to Blake's herd, he became quick friends with the King and Prince becoming a royal confidant of the two. Bayne rose up in ranks quickly becoming Lead Guard. When a trip to his old birth place lands him a daughter, Bayne becomes a little more strict and protective wanting no one to hurt his little girl. Personality: Strong, Protective, and a bit strict. However, he can judge a kirin before he opens his mouth which makes him overly judgmental. He's harsh on the new recruits demanding perfection among the young stallions. Her mother was no longer in love with her father, and since Synda was the only child between that union, the small filly was quickly left in the plains. She was told to stay there until the herd returned. So, staying true to her parents, she stayed put. It didn't occur to her until she was older that she was abandoned. Crushed and hurt, she lived a life of solitude in order to heal her wounded soul. She harbors no hate, however, and is extremely loving and gentle. Personality: Synda is extremely aware of her lack of speaking skills as well as her plain appearance making her feel a bit awkward and extremely shy.
