Okay the cliché goes women go straight for the Wii, The guys for PS3
What is you opion on the consoles? I have a Wii and have been saving money for either a Xbox360 or a PS3 but I really am torn about what to do. If you want a decent Xbox you have to pay at least €300 and for a PS3 €400.
And the games are really expensive and now with the 160 GB version of the PS3. I'm totally lost. It would be better to get that one. I don't find it unlikely that there will be games that only play on the 160Gb version. I know someone who got a 50GB PS3 for free and was estatic till he found out he couldn't play some games on it, especially the latest.
Anyway your views on this, please xp

Dojigomiru im a chick and i went straight for the 360 so yeah Yes the Xbox360 really has the best games for me at the moment. The PS3 and Wii are quite behind. Of course they have good games too but to be honet games like Little big planet are really not my kind of games. It may be innovative and all but ... I'm not the creative type Anyway I wanted to ask is it true that you have to buy a lot of extra's for the Xbox360. There a big difference between the systems. The arcade version for exemple is money trow away

I still rely on my PS2 and I got a PS3 for my birthday a year and a half ago so yeah. I like PS3 but I could do more in the game department.

Well...the PS2 was my first console, the first one I bought with my own money etc. So I prefer the PS3 'cause it's like... the PS3's little brother ^^ (and it's pretty)
I have a wii too though, but I like the PS3 better. I like nintendo's handhelds better smile

The Wii's controls are awfully touchy for my tastes. The Xbox
360 is known for its strategy- based shooters and is just now
delving into RPGs, which are unfortunately rated as cliche and
overdone. The PS3's big hoorah is Final Fantasy XIII, which is
also coming out on the 360 -and- isn't being released in the
U.S. until mid- to late 2010.

i played the wii and it was alot of fun ^6 but there wasnt many games that intrestred me really so i didnt really want one.
i dont like the ps3 much its meant to be really crap anyway.
the x box 360 is amazing i got one for chrstimas and the have a lot og choice from when it comes to games.

I think it all depends on what kind of games you like.
I'm a Nintendo fangirl so I like the Wii but XBox has good shooters and is coming out w/ RPGs now. Though I heard the RPGs weren't that great.
But if you like shooters then go w/ XBox. PS3 has a lot of good games but it's too expensive for me. ninja Plus most of the games I want are on Wii so spending a lot of money on getting a PS3 isn't really worth it for me.

I'm Playstation born and bread. So I want a PS3, but because the Wii is cheeper it's all I can afford. I'm sad because all the games the wii has are corny mini games.... At least Okami, Brawl, and No more Heros are keeping me occupied with less-minigames untill I can afford my godly PS3. :: still sad that the PS3 games cost an arm and a leg each. ::

well i have both a wii and a 360. i can play my girly-i-dont-want-to-try-really-hard games on the wii and play not-so-girly-bang-bang-your-dead games on the 360. i have this joke with my brother about the ps3 though. i was in walmart and i was looking at all the ps3 games and i was like "thats on the 360, thats on the 360, thats on the 360" for over half of them, my friend (who wants a ps30 was not amused lol

I have both a 360 and wii. One of the main reasons i have a wii is for LOZ:TP since alot of the games on the wii are kid and family friendly. Those are fun when a group of us are in the mood to have clean fun while drunk, but I mainly prefer the 360 for shooting games like COD 5

I have a PS3 and it's great. For my next system I'd rather have a 360 over a Wii only because theres only three games for the Wii that I want and the rest arn't good at all compared to the 360.

only reason i wanted a wii so bad was because of talkes of symphonia 2 (im a super fan of the first one so i had to play the second!)
