Tibarn opened the door with every intent of going outside again to rejoin the fight.
He got hit in the face with a blast of snow and wind so powerful he knew even he would be unable to fly in it. It was all he could do to shut the door, swearing. "I don't believe this! Never seen weather change that fast..."
He looked back at Ayra on the couch, then out the window at the raging storm. "I hope everyone out there is okay... let's hope they can get here safely."

Renault walked up behind Tibarn, covered in snow and a bit of a grumpy expression on his face. "I should say so," he muttered. "That blizzard is horrible. . . but they should be all right, I left my Warp Staff with Soren." It wasn't entirely clear how the bishop had gotten in, however. . . a back window or something of the sort, perhaps?

A knock came at the door, and a still-cheerful face peeked in the window. "Hi!" Anna chirped happily, smiling at Tibarn and Renault. "Can you let me in? I mean, it's starting to get a little bit chilly out here."

Rei made his way to town from the lake, trying to catch up with everyone. But, seeing as how the snowstorm made it rather impossible, he settled for the next best thing: Fefga's House. As he stiffly walked to the door, he lightly opened it, and threw himself inside.
"Waaaaaugh! It's cold out there, and I was all alone. It was terrible!" His eyes drifted over to Tibarn and Ayra. "Hey, guys! Are you two okay?" He said, still shivering from the intense cold.

Amelia let out a long, winded breath as she entered the house, closing the door as soon as she could. The wind outside screamed in her ears; she could still hear blood pulsing there. Wearing metal armor did nothing to help to stay warm, either; her teeth chattered as she peeled one icy glove away from her stiff fingers. "A-Are you t-t-two okay?" she managed out. Mentally listening a string of rather improper words, Amelia picked ice out of her hair with the bare hand, her knees knocking together. Goodness gracious, was the fireplace even going? This place was an icebox!
"I-I hope e-everyone m-makes it h-here o-okay," she told Tibarn matter-of-factly, her serious tone ruined by the chattering teeth that interrupted nearly every word. She removed her other glove and let them sit on the rug, not bothering to put them somewhere better to melt the ice and dry out.

(Between the Mogall fight and the blizzard)
The Arch Mogall was having quite a fun time, tossing around Rhys. It was vaguely reminded of the days of the Demon King, when its friends would go hunting through Adlas Plains for humans to toss around. In fact, they'd actually organized an interesting game called "football", in which one Mogall (called the "thrower") would try to pass a human from one end of the Adlas Plains to another Mogall, who would try to make it to the other end of the plains for a "touchdown".
The only problem was that humans' necks were so very fragile--they snapped every time a Mogall spiked the human in a touchdown celebration!
Then, of course, it saw the Light Spell of Fiery Rampaging Death headed straight towards it.
EEP.
It promptly held Rhys like a shield, but Rhys had had quite enough of being a football for one day. Giving a total disregard for his teeth, he grabbed one tentacle and bit down hard into it. The Arch Mogall trashed the Rhys shield away in pain just as the burst of light sailed through, searing through the eye completely. Rhys fell to the ground relatively unharmed.
The remaining Mogall scanned the field, eyeing the angry humans.
It opted to flee to play "football" another day.

"Mmmph!"
Soldiers and healers alike were fleeing in whatever direction they could--anywhere to escape the howling wings.
Rhys poked his head up out of the snow.
"I can't believe I fell for that trick..."
It was one of Rhys' shortcomings--he was, simply put, very gullible.
"Ugh... let's get out of this blizzard! The sooner, the better!"
He then realized that everyone else had already taken his advice before he had even spoken it, seeing several sets of footprints in the snow leading to a familiar location.

(I hate Mogalls), Rhys decided as he huddled near the fireplace in a desperate effort to keep warm.

Renault moved over to Amelia, looking down at her with slight concern. "Oh, dear, is it that bad already?" he asked. He paused for a moment, considered his options, then pulled off the cloak he was wearing and draped it around the girl's shoulders. "Here, child," he said softly. "Perhaps this will help you a bit."

Tibarn nodded to Renault as he held the door open for the stream of people coming in-- he did this by bracing himself against it to keep the wind from just bashing it back and forth. "I'm really the one who should be asking you guys that... what the hell is happening out there!?" He managed to shut the door with a bit of effort and left Merlinus to take care of new guests as he moved to help the soaked and frozen Amelia get her icy armor off, and he grabbed one of the large blankets from the table, where they were kept for the express purpose of warming up after going out in the snow. He frowned at the small stack of them. "Uh... people are gonna need to share..."

Rei started sputtering random babble at the sight of a chilled Amelia.
"Whoa! You look terrible. To the fire!" He border-line shouted this, and dragged Amelia over to the crackling fireplace, whether she wanted it or not.

"I-I'd probably not b-be so b-bad if it weren't f-for the armor," Amelia told Renault matter-of-factly, sneezing once. She rubbed at her nose with her cold hand. The offered source of warmth, however, was taken without hesitation from both Renault and Tibarn. "Thanks," she told both men gratefully. Amelia squatted down near the fireplace as well; the closer she got to a source of heat, the faster this damn cold would melt away. She wrapped her borrowed cloak around herself, almost swaddling herself in the fabric, and rested her chin on her knees. Already she was heating back up.

"Oh! That was open?" Anna laughed nervously, then walked inside. Unlike everyone else, she didn't seem to be affected by the blizzard, and the snow that had gotten on her came off easily with one brush. "Okay! Well, uhm, hi?"

[I'm taking some license and saying Lyre was warp-staffed to FEFGAs. Because she was in the sick ward. >>;]
After her overdramatic complaining at Rhys over her illness, FEF Castle OF COURSE had to come under attack. JUST her luck. She had been transferred to FEFGA's house after being deemed thoroughly useless.
She pouted as she made her way down the stairs, a scarf still wrapped around her neck that she continuously coughed into.
"Is everyone... alright?" She dragged a bundle of blankets out of the hall closet, tossing them at Rhys, Rei, and Amelia. "These aren't as warm as the other ones, but they'll still help somewhat..." She looked at her feet sheepishly.

(( Hope you don't mind that I dragged you here, FD... I figured that Nils wouldn't have left without you. ))
Alihi ran up the path to the House, her cloak tightly wrapped around the child in her arms. She was getting colder by the second with her already-soaked clothes, yes, but her first priority was to take care of the child in her arms. Although the tactician didn't know who the child was (she had only heard the knight from before call him "Prince Leaf"), she would still feel terrible if the boy died. It would be her fault.
"No..." She thought to herself, reaching the door. "I won't let him die. Until he's back with that knight, I won't let him get hurt."
Nils, clutching tightly to the Fire Dragon's hand, reached the door shortly after Alihi did. With his free hand, he opened the door, and the three of them entered in, closing the door shortly afterwords. He let out a sigh.
"Well, it certainly was cold out there." He stated obviously.

"A-As for what happened... I'm not sure," Amelia said, now able to actually articulate her thoughts without sounding like a stuttering drunkard. "There were a-all those Mauthe Doogs, and then Mogalls appeared, and then that b-blizzard... like something r-ripped right out of someone's i-idea of Hell," she told Tibarn. Amelia snugly covered her toes, which had been exposed for a few moments, and paused before taking off her water-soaked boots. They weren't doing anything to warm her up. If anything, they made things worse.
Blossom, who seemed to have gotten to the house before the blizzard began, ran down the stairs as people arrived in throes. "What's going on? You all look like popsicles!" she half-shouted. Blossom ran over to the stack of blankets where Lyre stood, sniffling and sneezing, and tugged one out to hand to Alihi. She then moved to get one for Anna as well.
