He knew he wasn't suppose to be wandering again but he liked exploring and since he was -only- going to where the other males were it had to be okay. He could just find his friends again, or maybe find new friends, either way he was safe and he could think all he wanted as he wandered.
Yawning slightly he pulled himself over tree roots and rocks until he plopped down where he usually found the bigger males hanging out. The par..Para ... something or other lands.

Eyri's ears flicked back and forth as the sound of rustling leaves and snapping twigs caught his attention. He had been enjoying an afternoon of quiet and had been left alone for the most part, as he often found himself. For amoment he wondered if it was a rabbit or some under unknowing small prey beast that happened to wander in his direction.
His ears back he frowned and watched the foliage as it swayed and moved. The out popped a very brightly colored male cub! Eyri blinked in surprise and tilted his head. Well now this was interesting. "Hello there little one, can I help you?" he asked as he eyed the cub. Someone, it seemed, was out exploring.

He pulled himself to his feet, shaking off twigs and leaves, and looked up when he heard a voice. "You're new." He hadn't seen this male before though he did remind him of his friend.
"I was looking around. I like coming out here. It's easier to think." It was quieter without his sisters talking or the adults talking. He could let his mind wander without distractions

Eyri sat back and looked down at the small cub with a grin. He was a talker, and had an excuse for being here at least in his own mind. He found it most amusing that the cub came here to be away from others. Reminded Eyri a bit of himself. New was an interesting term for himself, he thought with a chuckle. He supposed he should be grateful that the cub had not said 'you're old!'
"Well you're new too, cant say I have seen you before little one." he grinned and laid down so he was more at the cubs level. "Looking around is all fine and great, so long as you have permission." he said with a keen eye. "You wouldnt want to worry your mother now would you? Much less wind up in trouble."

"It's not like i went somewhere that i could get hurt" He'd come out here often enough to know that if he was going to get in trouble he would have done so already. "You're all big enough to make sure i dont get hurt."
It was easier to wander where he wanted knowing that there were adults around that could help him if he needed it. "Besides ... i'm big enough."

The lion laughed and nodded his head. The cub had a logical thinking process for someone so young he was full of reason. "true enough true enough." He grinned at the cub. "If we cant protect you in our own den who can Hmm?"
His tail flicked as he tilted his head. "Big enough hmm?" he gave the cub and apprasing gaze, making a big show of looking the cub over. "Well.. I should say that you are! Don't know why I didnt see it before really, ahh blast these old eyes of mine." he smirked. "So.. Wanderer, are you looking for someone?"

"No one. So i'm perfectly safe here." He grinned as he nodded. This was far enough in the pride lands that he'd have plenty of time to get back to his mother or to hide if something happened. Though he didn't think anyone would get past his mother and her family.
"Not really. I thought i'd come see if there was anyone and if not i could just find somewhere to curl up and think about ... things."

Eyri tilted his head as he looked at the cub. "Oh really, what do you come here to think about?" he asked, curious now. "I like to come out here to be alone and think to." he added "sometimes its hard to do with alot of others around." he nodded.
"If you want to be alone to think I know a good little spot to do so, but I am enjoying our talk."

"I dont know ... i just like thinking." He grinned brightly. "I like thinking about everything i can." One day he'd have all the time in the world to lay around and just think. It would be awesome.
"I come here to get away from my sisters. Where's the quiet place? I wanna see"

He thought that it was cute that the little cub just wanted to sit around and think. That was slightly odd for a cub, after all most wanted to run around and play and here was one that only wished to sit and think.
"Its not far, I dont mind taking you there. Just so long as you promise to share it with me when you are older." he grinned. "Because it is a great place to be alone."
Eyri stood up and shook hiself with a yawn and a strech. "just follow me."

Sharing and being alone really didn't seem like something that made sense. "I guess i can do that." He drawled even though there was a large grin plastered on his muzzle. "Long as you share too."
He wiggled his way away from the tree he'd crawled over so he could but the adult's leg. He wanted to go see this palce before his mother missed him

Eyri didnt stop to think that what he had just said didnt make any sence. What he had ment of corse was that they share the spot, keeping it mostly secret and allowing eachother to use it when needed to solutide.
The large lion walked his way through the trees and underbrush, looking back every now and then to make sure the cub was keeping up. The trek was not a far one but it was one that eyri thought not many knew about, or cared to come to.
Finally he stopped and looked back at the cub with a grin. "we're here." he stepped through the last few protective leaves and out onto a grassy ledge that overlooked the sweeping vast jungle. "Just be very careful towards the edge okay?"

"Ooooooh." He padded out from under the leaves toward the edge so he could look around. He'd never seen anything like this before. "i didn't know it was so big ..." He wondered one day if he'd been big enough, or be allowed, to go explore more of it than just the pride lands.
"I bet birds come out here ... they'd be fun to talk to. They've seen way more than we can and from way up there." He looked up toward the clouds.

Eyri smiled as he looked at the cub and the expression that crossed his face as he walked out into the light to look around. Yes this place was amazing and he was glad he finally had someone to share it with that he thought could use it like he had.
He looked around for anysigns of birds, while he didnt see any at the moment he knew that some had come here before. He didnt make it a habbit out of speaking to the birds the cub made a good point that they would have knowlage of the world beyond the pride and father than eyri had ever traveled. "well now little one that is a good idea. I think i'll have to strike up a conversation with the next bird I see."

"Birds are nice, i like them." He wanted to make friends with a bird eventually. The ones in the jungle usually told him he was a kid and left but he wondered if one of the ones that flew everywhere would like him.
He let his eyes wander around for a bit before he noticed where the sun was. ".... i should go find mama before she realized i'm missing. But i'll come back."
