I N T R O D U C T I O N

Er, hi there. I'm Notomys. I'm a research scientist whom happens to sort of know how to draw. I love science fiction, infectious diseases and cheesecake-although preferably not combined.

When I have the "art urge" I usually like to sit down and work on a piece from start to finish, so I'm not going to have a set number of slots. I'll let you know (in large letters) if I am taking requests. Please feel free to chat me up though, as even if I'm supposed to be preparing a project proposal/crunching numbers/cooking dinner for my boyfriend/sleeping inspiration sometimes strikes. I'll usually be able to squeeze in people with really cool requests.

I'm willing to draw anything (provided it's within the ToS) however this doesn't mean that I am capable of drawing anything. I'll let you know beforehand if I feel that your request is beyond my talents.

For examples of my current style please check out my deviantart account HERE. I'm currently doing a lot of experimentation stylistically, so I can't make a promise as to what your art will look like.

I'm (almost) on winter break, and will have a lot of spare time on my hands after I finish my last exam (which I haven't started to study for yet...woopsie....).


Just a quick question for you Fehy, would you prefer if I made your art "darker"...or would you prefer a cuter, or more angelic look. The avatar could go either way, so I figure I'd ask first smile

My exams were actually a lot easier than I thought they were going to be. In the past my exams for this class were really hard--it's a diagnostic microbiology class--and it would give you a list of the vaguest symptoms ("Your patient has flu-like symptoms and a low grade fever--tell me what species this is") The final was multiple choice...and was really easily. I'm pretty sure somebody without a background in microbiology could figure it out.

I kid you not. One of the questions was

(true/false) Rabies is a mild disease of the central nervous system.

i love it. what program do you use or was it hand drawn. it is great either way

that is what i started using yesterday so now i can do basic animations but what to practice more complex so if you want i can make you an animated banner
