 The sun had since vanished under the horizon and gave way for the moon to take over for night. The stars sparkled brightly where she could see. It was winter but the snow had not fallen in weeks but it was still just as cold as it would be if there was. Nevara could see for miles from this spot and with the small area of rock it left just enough space between the trees to see the perfect night sky. It was no wonder she loved this forest so much, there was so much so see and do here. Though one day she dreamed of traveling to a land she didn't know and one her father didn't know. Yeah, that would be a place to see.. I can't till I'm old enough!

Brrrrr, this thing called 'winter' was now definitely not one of Jumanjii's favorite times. It was much too cold out, even during the day when the sun was bright and the skies were clear. It was so odd to the young soquili, who had been born just in time to enjoy alittle of fall's warmth before winter swept across the lands. Distracted as wisps escaped his nostrils and mouth, Manjii' tread his way carefully through the woods. It was his and mother's home terrain, so he was well acquainted to many of the pathways created between the trees. Not all of them, mind you, but enough to know where led in and out of the forest's reach. And it was on one of these exiting paths that he walked on. He heard his mother mention something called 'snow', and that it may already be at the mountains. Was that the source of the cold? Dangerous even when so far?
Black hooves paused though when he noticed movement. More breaths curling in the air...just like his own. If he squinted, he could make out the ghostly form of another youngling in the moonlight. So hard to see was that pale one. Curious about the stranger, Manjii walked forward, knees buckling lightly from the cold. "....'Ello there." He bit his tongue then, not really knowing what else to say.....
