i noticed all the sonic games coming out lately sure r ranging from alright to sry lately. i just wanted everyone's opinion on this. i personally think sega is smoking something myself, besides Sonic Unleashed and hopefully Sonic and the Black Knight, i think the games r going down the drain crying

Sadly I think the games are starting to suck now. I wish Sega would make another system of itself so Sonic games don't suck anymore like the old days.

They need to dump the 4kids actors and bring back the others,
then they need to work on gaming mechanics,and level design,
then they need to work on character and story development.
if they fix all these things they will be great again!

I fully agree with this. Better storyline is SOOOOOO needed it hurts. I am writing better than they have been for a lot of these. Take Secret Rings, for instance. The Arabian Nights? A genie?! What were they thinking?! Oh wait, they weren't!

HONESTLY some peeps are missing the ideal of Sonic. Well its my oppinion...the reason Sega and Co has been making these games was just to let the plyers have fun. Having their favoirte hegdehog rip up on different places and stories and such. The Sonic Unleashed was the best so far I think. Since it included day and night, 2d and 3d graphics, clear images and a cute character named chip. the Sonic stories was just something they thought about...Im not saying what i say is true...but ya gotta let a hegdehog have fun....No ones complaning about Mario... Also having sonic ona car or a gravity board was ideas to let the player or new players who havent known sonic enough to enjoy themselves...
Im not sure am I making any sense....
But one thing i will say I wont critizie SEGA and TEAM SONIC.., If yall learn the difference between the two segas related co. Yo`ull know why they made the certain games.....Sonic is and will always be the best hedgehog around...just like Mario....

heres my opionion i think sega is getting the fable deises i say this because fable the origanals gameplay sucked but th graphics were outstandig and everyone was expecting more from it just like they are from sega, and ive noticed a big problem ITS THE DAMN FANS!! sega listens to its fans unlike most this is the cause for: genie, wii remote control, the werehog, the lack of side missions AND not to metoin the removel of the chao gardens

Sega Had already did that...brought him back.....so what do They mean by Old sonic...?

Goren the hedgehog probably the more classic laid back sonic. because in his new games his chatch phrase sould be "GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY I GOTTA GO DO A #%$ UP MISSION" type thing Yeah. and hes always saving some helpless something-or-other from some hugeo monster that they come up with at random. Where's the fun in that? And what was with him carrying Elise around? Hello, she has legs, dude. It was almost like he was trying to be romantic wih her at some parts, too, just to die in the end of her game.

I kinda think the games are still doing pretty good. Yes I know the voice changes was over board but that was al ong time ago. Now the graphics just blow peoples minds off, at the same time...the storyline kinda need work(except for Sonic and Sega All Stars, it's a cool game I admit it) For example, SR(Sonic Riders) And SRZG really could've explained more. Sonic Unleashed as well, kick a** graphics! A Neutral storyline(Eggman up to his no good tricks) And A natural fast pace. Although the werehog kinda ruined a major part of it it's still epic.(Sorry for the long reply). Basically I think the games are still up and high in ratings.
