It had been a bit of time since Yiska had come to this part of the Soquili world. Life had all of a sudden gotten busy. What with Marahute getting pregnant out of the blue.

Ok, so maybe it wasn't so much out of the blue. A wonderful surprise really. The pale faced stallion hadn't expected it so soon. But he still welcomed the prospect of fatherhood with open arms. To have children with his golden love was more than he could ever ask for.

And in turn they had been blessed with three sons. Seemed boys might run thick through his genes. It was the same with his own siblings. There were more boys than girls.

He chuckled lightly at the thought as he trotted along. Stopping to glance back behind him. Bright green eyes glinting with an excitement that was too hard to describe with words. An ear twitched as he watched the pale colored colt canter along. A wide, proud grin spreading across his lips as he puffed out his chest lightly. At least Mara had let him bring Wanageeska on his little trip back to visit mother. The other two he had left within her care. Good thing to as he wasn't too sure how well his mother would take being surprised with three grandsons!

Yiska snorted lightly, giving a flick of his curly tail. "Come on now Wana. We don't want to be taking too long to get to where we're going and back to your mother."

Wanageeska was still shaking off a bit of the sleepies as he pranced behind his father. Trying his best to keep up with the larger stallion. He was excited, to say the least, to have been let out by his mother to explore with his dad. It wasn't often she let him out of her sight, but he had reassured her that he'd be fine. Father wouldn't let anything happen to him. And even he had assured her of his safety.

The young colt stopped next to his father, leaning up against him lightly. Nuzzling at his upper leg which was all he could reach from his small stature. "Where are we going again? To see grandma? Are we gonna stop and have lunch soon cause I'm hungry!" Big grey, saucer shaped eyes stared up at Yiska. A small, rumbly noise coming from the colt's belly. He was indeed hungry. Perhaps he should have eaten more before they had set off.
