Honestly, no.
I mean, it is rather weird for Edge to return and lose the title the following ppv, but let's look at the facts.
Jeff has been fighting for the championship for almost a year now. If I remember correctly, he started at the Royal Rumble when he tried to beat Randy Orton for it. It was a matter of time before he claimed it, and the wait is over I guess. Its a shame I couldn't watch it tonight though, but good for Hardy. He earned it.

Had my favorite spot from the EDGE Taker HiaC match in which EDGE darts across two tables and spears Jeff through the last one, that was all I cared about.

I wasnt suprised after I read the interview with Matt Hardy, saying that Jeff would probably get the title "sooner rather than later". It's been 10 years in WWE/WWF for Jeff and he definitely deserved the title. It probably won't last, but he definitely deserved it.

Glad he won and hope he has a good amount of time as champ and not a short time. I think he should hold the title at least a month or two onger than CM punk did when he was world champ.
Not too long, yet not too short.

Finally! I was wanted Jeff to be WWE champ since he was trying to get it from Orton. I didnt expect him to win though. I thought Edge might win since he JUST got the title. But then again, Batista lost his title like a week later? Jeff should stay champ for atleast a month. GO JEFF! XD

It was a bit about time they realize he won't draw any longer if he couldn't get his hands on it.

It's a bit surprising considering he's one strike away from being fired and is still a total pot-head! rofl

I'm a little surprised, but I expected it to happen sooner or later.

I really don't think he deserved it, he'll lose it quick anyways and feud with Matt.

Nakamura Vega I really don't think he deserved it, he'll lose it quick anyways and feud with Matt. Well people started to lose interest in Jeff, and they want to keep the crowd sticking to their main event figures, so it's more a smart move than a question of if he deserves it or not. Still, he deserved it IMO. He gave his life and body to wrestling, kind of about time he gets some recognition for his work.

People kept sayng it was because of how long he was in the WWE, and if that was the case where is Regal,Venia,or D'Lo Brown's Main Event push.
