'Zuba sat under a rather-small version of a playground, her bored eyes lazily gazing over to towards the stores. Today was supposed to be her and Mother's day out...but Mother had left her here to do some shopping, probably for the two brats she had the displeasure of calling her siblings. She sighed, crawling out from her hiding hole and glancing around the playset. It had definately been geared toward younger kids, but there had to be something she could entertain herself with here, right?
She ended up finding herself by a rather familiar piece of playground apparatus: the jungle gym. Unfortunately, it wasn't very tall; her head almost touched the top of it when she was standing. Still, it was better than nothing, and she climbed up to perch at the top, eyes scanning all the normal kids and adults, watching as they went about their buisness in the mall. Pfft. Boring.

Ebony was bouncing on her toes as Bailey dropped her off at the mall playground. Usually, he'd just take her with him, but right then he was picking out presents so she had to stay in the playground area for a while. Almost immediately, she spotted another child that she recognized from the trip she'd had to the lodge with Adhara.
Rushing over to the jungle gym, the purple spawn smiled and waved up to the bigger girl, her wings fluttering as she did. "Hihi Zuba!"

'Zuba blinked, looking at the girl a second before a name came to mind. "'Lo, Ebby." she said, smiling slightly and waving. She remebered the girl from the sleep-over at the lodge. "What brings?" she asked, wondering what brought the other girl out to a playground as lame as this on a perfectly good weekend. Then again, it might not be so lame to her, since it was built for kids closer to her size. She scooted over a bit, incase the girl might want to climb up too.

And indeed she did. Ebony latched onto the bars and scrambled her way up to the top to perch next to Zuba with a slightly proud look on her face. "My brother was taking me out for the day but he had to stop in and get some Christmas presents for the family. Since some might be mine, he couldn't take me." the child explained with a nod.
"How about you, ZuZu? What've you been up to lately and what brings you here?"

'Zuba chuckled at her new nickname; it certainly was fun to say. "Haven't been up to much. New siblings, though." She said calmly, kicking her feet back and forth. "S'posed t'be Mother and I's day. Shopping instead, and stuck here." She didn't sound none to happy about the arrangement.
"Like here?" she asked, curious about how the other girl felt about the playground. After all, she didn't want to go bashing it if Ebby really liked it.

"It's okay. I'd rather be visting my friends at Sevens, though." she told her friend with a warm smile. "Have you met either of your parents there yet? I haven't but I've met my friends. Like Hyacinth and Auntie Avis, and Auntie Charna, and Enki"

'Zuba nodded once. "Met mother." she said, smiling a little more than usual. "'S Charna. Mother don't like, but I do. Go visit her soon if I win please game." She paused, giving the other names a chance to register in her head. They didn't. "Who?" she asked, curious about these unknown people.

Ebby smiled broadly. "Your Mommy's Charna? That's good. She's really fun. I gave her hugs."
"Enki's the pride demon - he's chatty, but I like him. And Hyacinth's patience - he's really sad and quiet but he likes hugs and is really nice. And Auntie Avis is.....um.........I dunno. But she's the opposite of Lust so I guess that means she's really polite and isn't overly friendly. I still don't get that bit. Whose your other parent?"

'Zuba nodded, chuckling. "Charna very fun. Had to leave early, though. No hugs." She sounded disappointed at this news. She then tilted her head to the side. "How'd you meet?" she asked, wondering how on Gaia she's met so many of the people there? "My bio-father is Humility. Haven't met. Your parents?" she asked, directing the attention from herself to someone much more important: Ebby.

"I just went there and became friends with Almas. And then I asked him if he could show me around and introduce me to people. Maybe we could go together one time?"
Ebby smiled broadly. "I'm lust and kindness. I dunno really what lust is - Mommy says it makes people too friendly, which I dunno how you can be - but kindness I know."

"Be nice...." 'Zuba said, nodding. It would be nice to go there and meet people; maybe they'd know more of the fun games Charna did. Well, one could hope.
Kindness; that explained why the girl was almost nicer than her sister. "Lust....don't know, either." she said, offering an small, apologetic half-smile. She wished she could have been able to offer up the information. "Ask my mother. Tell you." she offered, sure that Mother would tell her.

"Maybe later on. I've asked lotsa people but they haven't been able to tell me right. Mommy tried to explain it to me a few times but I didn't understand what she was telling me. It involved boys and girls and people and it was weird." Ebby said with a shrug.

'Zuba nodded, seeming to understand. Adults and their explainations could be confusing. "Later." she agreed, nodding once. She'd ask Mother on the way home; she was curious about it now. She glanced at Ebby, then at the rest of the playground equipment. "Play...?" she asked, smiling slightly. After all, she didn't want to hinder the younger girl from enjoying herself or anything.

"Sure, if you want to I'll come along. I was gonna just sit up here for a while." the purple one replied with a shrug. "I'm still a bit tired from getting up early."

The split girl shook her head, quickly; she was only suggesting it incase Ebby wanted to play! "Sit for a bit." she said, nodding once. After all, if the other spawn was tired, she wouldn't want to wear her out anymore! "Why? Up early?" she asked, curious.
