I've heard of it, and it definitely sounds like something useful. biggrin I do know that the number one rule to zombie survival is that you only have to run faster then the other person. xd

Here's what I would do to avoid zombies:
1: Get a bassoon and a vial of holy water.
2: Serenade the zombie with the bassoon.
3: Dump the holy water on the zombie.
Simple and easy!!! I mean, of course, if you have holy water and a bassoon.

lol! Interesting method of Zombie killing! But! You must have a Zombie Escape Plan! The Zombie Escape Plan is for if the Zombies outnumber you greatly until back-up arrives! The only Zombie Escape Plan that is popular but we don't want to use is Zombie Escape Plan 0001: Suicide. It's effective for the person using it, but it doesn't get rid of the Zombies. The points of an effective Zombie Escape Plan are

~ Make sure there are makeshift weapons nearby in the places you frequent.
~ Have a hide-out for last resort purposes. Make sure the hide-out is Zombie
proof. The most Zombie-proof hide-outs have ladders as their only
entrances, for Zombies cannot climb ladders. Make sure you have
supplies for a few days in case help doesn't arrive for a while.
~ Always have a small party of friends with you if possible when Zombie
apocalypse is suspected.

You forgot about the bugs and crows! They are effective for eating zombies. xd The only sad thing is, you will probably have to kill them afterwards, just in case they carry the zombie virus. 3nodding

Crows and flies are harder to kill because they are much smaller targets. 3nodding

I have it right now and I have to say almost everything in it is garbage when it comes to practical use. Here are two huge reasons why I think it's garbage
1.They don't talk about leather as being useful armor(Yes it is the best armor out there it is scratch and bite resistant and allows lots of mobility and is cheap and easy to find)
2.They say that the katana is the best melee weapon (It requires too much maintenance to keep it sharp and only if you have atleast a decade of training could you take a zombies head off with one slice over and over again. Not to mention to find a REAL battle ready one in this day and age is nearly impossible and would cost you thousands of dollars to get your hands on one.)
However it does give you a few things of useful info like making a latrine and about a few things you would need for your bug out bag.
As for weapons/gear
I would preffer being in full leather cloths (steel toe boots)
Two 9 inch steel trench knifes(No I don't plan to melee them all down but you would be amazed at how useful those little buggers can be)
A crowbar(non combative purposes)
A pistol(whatever one has the most common bullets I can get my hands on since I don't own one)
A bunch of rations and a think of asprin.
