Things would be muy malo*.
The sand covered area she had made her temporary home recently wasn't ever as chilly as this place! "Well.. This looks interesting!" She said to herself out loud as she stepped back onto flat land, eying the woodland forest in front of her. It was frosted over because of the soon-to-be winter season, and yet, still held the vibrant shades of autumn. "Ah!" So this was where that mountain pass lead to!

 The black and purple mare shivered slightly as she walked through the chilly air. The solstice must becoming very soon if it was already this cold. Her gray eyes were full of some odd emotion, one that not even their owners could describe. Duskai sniffed and paused, one hoof up in the air. She smelled another mare, but when she looked around, all she saw were these flames on a black object. Her head tilted to the side, her white mane sliding over to that side, in curiosity. The shape looked oddly like a horse, the longer she stared at it. " Hmm... I wonder what it is..." [[Don't worry about the Spanish. ^^ I take Spanish, so I can understand most of it. ^^]]

"Hm?" The fire incarnate said to herself with a flick of her ears, the two swiveling through the constantly moving twines of fire that made up her mane. The tips only being charred by the fire, but not harmed or burned by their owner's own willpower, gave off a soft hiss at contact. The very sound almost sounded.. serpentine, in a way. Pyre's eyes adopted a concentrated look as she shifted her gaze to look through the broad area of foliage. Had she heard something? Or perhaps it was someone?
Meeting someone new would be fun!.. As long as it wasn't what the two-leggers called a Kalona, the word flipped and flopped around to Dimonio Caballo in her head. Of course, she had never seen one before. But... how the dark skinned two-leggers, down in her previous home in Mexico, had said about them and how they had described the devil creatures in their old tales was enough for her. Her pair of flames flared up slightly at the thought of running into a creature such as that, remaining at their new raised height. Raising her muzzle up into the air and giving a snuff, she caught the scent of another like herself. So, her suspicions about another Soquili being around the area were right! Swiveling her head to look around, Pyre then spotted something in the familiar shape of another like herself, shades of deep purples covering the mare's body. Her mane and tail were of a bright ivory color, delightfully similar in appearance to the layer of frost coating the forest. Why, she looked like a winter touched violet!
"Oh! Hello, Señora Violeta." Pyre called out with a small smile, dimming down her flames once more against her body as she started to take a few hesitant steps forward. She didn't want to spook this other female, now, did she? Why, the soot coated mare could even spook herself accidentally if she tried enough. The results of that? Er.. Let's just say that Frosty the Snowman and his familia would be spending a not so joyful Feliz Navidad in a field of char. Cómo estúpido que sería de Pira!

Duskai blinked as the flaming shape moved closer and spoke. So it was a mare... the flames intimidated the mare a little, but Duskai was strangely curious about how they didn't harm the one who bore them.
She chanced a few steps closer, her grey eyes full of a curious caution. How odd... the black mare really was on fire... and yet it looked like it was perfectly normal for her. Duskai was slightly confused by this, for flames weren't supposed live on Soquili, but she figured it was just something she'd have to get used to.
"Hello... my dear f-flaming one," she said in reply, sounding as pleasant as she could. This was a little hard as she shivered from the cold winds and stuttered a bit. Hopefully this mare wouldn't be too harsh about that...

Keeping the once flaming beasts down to small, less threatening flickering flames, Pyre gave a slight bow of her head in greeting. "Ah. You don't have to call me that, señora." She replied with a soft chuckle, flashing her a small grin. Already, this new mare had left a bit of an impression upon the soot coated female. 'My, isn't she polite!' "My name is Final Pyre All Expired, Pira Final Todos Expiraron is what I'm known as down in Mexico. Quite a mouthful, si?" Pyre said, giving a slight nod of her head and a smile once more. "You can just call me Pira or Pyre, though. Either will work." Then noticing the other female shivering slightly, the foreign mare gave a concerned look at Duskai. "Are you cold? I could help wa-"
The shrunken flame that was her tail suddenly gave an unexpected crackle as a frost coated leaf, from a nearby tree, drifted down and through the fire. Her gold eyes widened at the noise, it causing her to crane her head to see what had occurred. Catching sight of the burnt form of a leaf down by her hind hooves, she let out a soft sigh, relieved that it hadn't been anything too serious. "Gran.. Justo gran.." She muttered to herself under her breath, giving a shake of her head before looking back up at the purple mare.
"I'm sorry about that. I was going to offer to help you warm up a little, with this chilly weather we have right now.. But I don't suppose you want to now, hm?" She explained, giving a sheepish smile.

At the burning of the leaf, Duskai's suspicious about the flames had been proved. "So... the flames are real? If they get out... of control... things burn?" she asked Pyre, walking closer to her. The shivering stopped and she felt warm.
"I'm Duskai." she said with a small smile of greeting.

"It's a pleasure, Duskai." True, when things got out of control things burned.. a lot of things. But the fire maned female's happiness showed at the moment, ignoring the thought as her maw forming into the usually pleasant smile she always had as Duskai stopped shivering and exchanged a greeting as well. "Oh! Si, they flames are alive." Pyre replied with a nod of her head, a bit surprised that the other mare had decided to come closer.
Most saw her flames as... a bit of a threat. Off putting, to say the least.
"Things usually end up fried to a crisp when they touch them. Especially when they get out of control and I, myself, loose control of them, like you said, señora. But I can keep control most of the time, and keep them from burning things." Taking a few steps closer to her, she then let the tendril-like flames of her tail grow out a bit, flicking them at a lock of the white shaded mane along Duskai's side, showing how it wouldn't burn when commanded. "So, what are you doing out in these woods this morning, Duskai? Exploring or something of the sort? Or do you, perhaps.. live here?"

Duskai listened intently to Pyre, and watched as her ivory locks did not burst into flames or char. It was quite amazing. The mare shifted from foot to foot for a moment, collecting her thoughts.
"I live in these woods... on the other side, though. I am... very solitary and tend to... roam as my hooves move... I don't usually come this close... to the pass," she said, hoping her pauses weren't too noticeable. She'd gotten better with her speech, but it was still choppy. Dusk hoped she could fully get rid of the choppiness someday; she was starting to be embarrassed about speaking because of it.

Giving a flick of her flamed tail again, it flickered away from the other mare's lengthy mane and back to it's place at Pyre's hind flank. Her ears then perked up at the mention of roaming, thinking for a moment to herself and giving a bright smile at Duskai.
"Realmente? Usted vaga alrededor de también? He estado vagando alrededor del desierto para unas pocas semanas ahora!"
The fire incarnate burst out with a smile of happiness, realizing that her new acquaintance might know some helpful information on the new area she had come to. Final Pyre's tail lashed out by her ankles and hooves, reaching out and scorching her sunset hued hooves and gold, Mayan rune markings, covering them with a layer of soot that the majority of her pelt was painted with. But, then coming to realize how odd her sudden outburst was, blushed lightly, the ebony colored skin around her face gaining a light shade of red. "Sorry for that.." She said softly, calming down her flames once more then giving a curious tilt of her head at Duskai. "So you know a little about the woods, Duskai? I wouldn't mind looking around here myself, since I'm new to this area... Oh! You wouldn't mind showing me around, would you, señora?"

Duskai blinked as Pyre fell into her native tongue. She blinked quite a few times and decided it was better to just nod, and answer the questions in the language she understood. It was much better that way.
"Yes... I know these woods... You... want m-me to show... you around?" she asked, baffled by the idead. It was n't that she didn't want to, it was just that no one ever wanted her to show them anything. The dusk colored mare blushed and dipped her head.
Duskai turned back towards the woods. "I'll show you, Pyre." The mare smiled softly and nodded her head.

[[Sorry it's been a while since I last replied! Had to get a bunch of shots and my arms got pretty sore~ xwx]]
'Oh, I just can't control that dumb foreign part of me! Oh, estúpido, estúpido, Pira!' Pyre told herself as she watched Duskai's expression turn to a rather confused looking one from her sudden rambling of Spanish words. Feeling a little awkward, she gave a flick of her ears back slowly, her mane being swiped through as if it were just air itself before noticing that the other mare was giving nods of her head in reply to her questions. The fire incarnate relaxed, the start of a case of nervousness and jitters being shoved and bumped quickly into a closet in her mind, a small smile taking the awkwardness away.
"Why, of course you, Duskai!" She said with a gentle bob of her head to confirm it. "I see no one else around these parts that I'd be able to go to, nor anyone I'd be able to trust as much as I do you." Pyre added on with a small laugh after wards, tapping at the ground below with the pointed tip of one of her front hooves lightly. "Not many approach me like you did, what with my 'odd' looks."
Smiling as Duskai offered to show her around, Pyre spoke once again as she stepped to follow her woodland tour guide. "Si, si. You're one of my rare finds, Señora Violeta~"

The mare tried her best to not flinch as Pyre spoke. However, there didn't seem to be any malice in the words... just... something. Duskai nodded in responce to her comment on 'odd' looks. She could understand that.
"Well then.... Miss Prye... Follow me." She smiled at the firey mare, before following a trail back into the woods.

Smiling in return at the nod of Duskai's head at what she had said about her appearance, Pyre felt that the other mare had realized a little of what the fiery mare had to go through. The small infernos she had made her look like a walking forest fire from afar, and... well.
Any normal person wouldn't just go and walk up to a fire and have a little chat with it, now, right? The idea didn't usually cross the normal's mind.
"Alright." She said with a nod of her own head at the polite command, giving a flick of her tail as she started off after Duskai, delighted to have a chance to get a proper look around the new area. "Seño-..Duskai~" Pyre chirped out, correcting herself just in time. 'It'll be fun to use their native tongue more than mine.' Walking beside the white maned mare, she gave a look over at her, curious. "Were you born in the area or did something cause you to come here and make it your home?"

Duskai shook her head. "I wasn't born here... Whether my past sent... me here, I don't know. I know... my past sent me... from home, though," she said looking back at her flaming friend. The mare was calm while she spoke of her past, even if it was rather vaguely. The flames on Pyre were warning enough to keep herself calm.
No one needed to end up with a forest burning down.
