i know you people like/love tsubasa, but why?
you guys can make lists, write a humungous essay about it, or whatever you wish.
just tell me(us).
rules!
dont go off topic(you can double parentheis sometimes, but dont make a long conversation out of it. thats just stupid)
respect other guild members
dont misspell too much. its annoying, and makes the post hard to read.
..thats it.
have fun!

ps.to all who hate repeat threads:
i have already asked yu-san(yu mutou) if i could make this thread(she said yes), and there isnt, as far as im concerned, any other thread thats based on the said subject as this one.

Mmm... good question.

I believe one of the reasons is because I love crossovers. And tell me about it. I used to draw the Little Mermaid in Belle's or Jasmine's clothes when I was little sweatdrop Anyway... another reason is that, since I have been reading the manga right after it's been released, I feel like I'm seeing this manga grow, as if it were a little kid. Sounds kind of stupid, doesn't it? sweatdrop Haha.

A friend from college got me into CLAMP, so I have grown as a CLAMP fan, and overall, a TRC fan. It's my favorite CLAMP work, because I have read it since it was a 2 volume manga. crying sweet memories...

I dunno...I guess I like it because, well, I just like it. I love fantasy stories with humor and action, so I guess this suited me very well. Not to mention the art definitely beats reading pokemon or something. xd

((Sakuraaa... *whine* I'm the only hater of repeat threads I know, and I know just as many repeat threads as you as we joined within a week or 2 of each other. Besides! I always check before I yell. mrgreen ))
Anywho, Why I love tsubasa.
It's truly a mystery I think. Maybe it was the first chapter that hooked me. I really liked the hidden/forbidden romance, and then the life or death situation thrown at Syaoran and Sakura.
But what makes me love it? I love all the crossovers, for a start. Seeing Seishirou again made me do the happy dance, for example. I also love how every time I read it, no matter how many times, no matter what mood I'm in, I can find something new, or sometimes old, that I hadn't thought of before. No matter what my feelings are, I can find something to make me laugh. I can find something to make me want to photocopy the page and paste it to my binder. I can find a quote I feel I can use time and time again.
That's it, I think. Why I love Tsubasa. When I started using forums, it only enhanced my already moderate obsession. *hugs* Thanks everyone!

eh heh.
good job everyone!
ahem! so my reason is...
hm, how do i explain this?
well, when nakuru and i first discovered tsubasa, we went...in simple words, insane. ((i remember that we were in teen center, and ran out into the woods(theres a bunch of trees behind it) and started squealling our brains out.(good times, good times... sweatdrop ) )). we were still ccs(cardcaptor sakura) fanatics, and we'd only seen the cover that time, so the main reason that we loved it so was because of sakura and syaoran. they were back! it just made me feel so happy and excited and crud.
so yeah.
reason #1:because it had syaoran and sakura in it.
then we read it and went(if possible) even more insane...(i remember that day...before class, outside of ms.browns class, she presented it to me...oh, the memories... 4laugh ).it was just so cute and dramatic and wonderful and to put it short, awesome. i loved it to death.
so...
reason #2:because it was "so cute an dramatic and wonderful..to put it short, awesome.".
then....kurogane.wow, i cant believe that when we first discovered it and went online and found a pic of kurogane...i dismissed it as something that didnt matter.
oh...gotta go. ill finish it later.

Why do I love Tsubasa? It draws me in. It gives me 2 familiar characters I love and multiple different worlds they travel to, another thing I like to think about. It even crosses with another series that I like, which is REALLY cool. Face it, I just love Tsubasa because of the story.

Hmmm... I have no idea. The plot is paper-thin and cliche. The characters, although not 1-dimensional (except Syaoran and Sakura- THEY are), are all some sort of chile, and quite exxagerated. Syaoran's the hero cliche, Sakura the damsel in distress, Kuro the grumpy old man, Fai the smiling-through-the-tears cliche. It's uncreative for CLAMP to be recycling their characters in the first place.
So looking over this list, I ought to be completely disgusted with Tsubasa.
....um... if I ever figure out why I love it so much, I'll tell you. xd

My liking for tsubasa began with the relationship between Syaoran and Sakura in CCS and moved to other animes. When I saw that there was another manga with those two in it, I leapt at it. The wierd thing is that the story line dealing with character interaction sounds like my life. I have a friend who is every bit like Kurogane-san and hates me because I say so. The series includes all genres of writing. I like that in a book and movie. Love plots rock the most though.

There's a general theme among members here. Everyone likes it mainly for a few reasons. In no particular order:
Reason #1: Sakura and Syaoran. 'Nuff said. We love them to death.
Reason #2: To quote Sakura-chan, "so cute an dramatic and wonderful..to put it short, awesome." No matter how you say it, many love it for the adventure and romance and kawaii-ness of the plot.
Jenx, well, I think you're the exception, but hey. We love you anyway.

I, honestly, have absolutely no idea why I like this manga. Nobody in my immediate family liked CCS. I started buying CCS when a cousin and co-worker recommended it to me. I could never get into it and my sisters didn't like it, either. We tried Chobits and didn't like it, either. So, I was really surprised when we took a liking to Tsubasa. My sisters love it and I find it highly enjoyable myself. Weird, eh?

Well, I think Mokona, Fai, and Kurogane are the main reason for our liking it so much. ^^
