Lori pressed to the glass surrounding the solidified pond, blinking at the people drifting around on skates. Her wings fluttered, visible eye going wide as her exposed midriff shivered in the chill.
"So pretty~" She gushed before her 'mother' moved to pull her back down, crouching to help her slide on the skates.
"Mhm. Now, be careful while you're out here, okay? The blades are sharp and.."
Lori nodded, carefully waddling her way onto the ice - giggling as she slid forward a bit. It was slicker than the roller rink - much harder to balance on, too...
Regardless, her wings spread wide and she carefully pushed forwards, sliding and quickly taking a plant on her rump. "Oow," she mumbled, rubbing her lower back. In the background, Marlene sighed and shook her head, wondering why she even bothered.

Zach held Dion in his lap firmly as he struggled to put the boys skates on. "Stop squirming!!" Zach said to the boy as he continuously tried to wiggle from his grasp and up to the window. Dion inhaled sharply and held his breathe, shutting his eyes and counting to ten as he remained absolutely still. Zach took the brief moment to quickly put the rented ice skates onto Dion's feet before placing the boy on his feet. "There, was that so hard?" Zach asked with a c**k of his head. "Yes." Dion said flatly as he as he shifted on the skates, swaying a little bit before catching himself. Zach rolled his eyes as he stood up.
He led the boy out onto the ice, going over the rules of the ice and repeating that there was no pushing continuously. "Am I clear?" Zach asked as Dion held onto the wall of the rink tightly. "Yes!" Dion called back as he pushed off the wall and into the center of the rink. Zach watched him in silence, he hadn't been listening to a word he had said.
Dion swayed and staggered on his ice skates as he made his way through. He stared down at his feet, too preoccupied with keeping his balance then anything else. The cold crispness of the winter air made his nose cold and made him shiver slightly. He liked the scrapping noise the ice skates made against the ice and before long he was improving. Not much really, actually, he was improving very little but he was getting slightly better.
As Dion finally looked up he realized a figure sitting on their rump directly in front of him. No pushing. Zach's words echoed in his head loudly. Dion swerved or at least he tried to. Dion threw himself off balance, he kicked his legs and flailed his arms as he tried to desperately stop himself from falling. The blades on his ice skates kicked up pieces of ice before he finally landed on his back and slide down besides the girl in front of him.
He laid there for a moment, frowning up at the girl that sat besides him. His back was wet and cold now and the fall hadn't been very pleasant. "Ow." He said more to the girl then to himself. He stared at her, she had wings like the three other people he had met recently. How come everyone had wings but him? Dion didn't say anything else, he simply stared at her wings with fascination. He did that a lot.

Ebony was doing one of her seemingly favorite pastimes - smiling. The child wore a warm winter coat - a deep black - as well as a pretty little winter outfit underneath. Ebby had gone roller-skating before, with her brothers, but when they'd told their mother of it, she'd been more curious if they'd rather go ice skating instead. Kahlua had shown a vague interest - being a rather icy child - but he didn't want to go out with his sister, so the brother would go on a separate day.
The lust spawn, meanwhile, had gotten her guardian to bring her out eventually, the woman finally agreeing to it. Dartsmoore was not a fan of cold or ice, but she had a slight - very slight - soft spot for her children, and she was decent at ice skating, so she took the child out. And so, there they were.
Soon as the woman had gotten the child's skates on, Ebby was slowly slipping out onto the ice and holding tight to Dartie's hand as they skated. Across the ice, however, Ebby noticed something to make this worth her while especially.
"Ooh ooh! Dion! And Lori! Hihi you guys!" the little girl called, slowly making her way over to the fallen pair with her mother's help.

'Ow'.
The girl blinked, head turning to stare at the boy that had fallen blankly as he peered at her, wings fluffing slightly as the gaze shifted to them. She blinked slowly. "Sorry," she offered after a moment, smiling and holding out her hand. "Hi. I'm Lori. You have cool floaty th-..." She paused again as her name was called, head lifting as he blinked at the familiar purple girl skating closer with a tall woman.
"Ebby!" She squeaked happily, grinning and moving to carefully push herself up, wobbling a bit on her skates before turning to offer a hand to the boy. "You know Ebby?" She asked, smiling brightly at him.

Tykier was very excited while placing his skates on his feet. Eve was watching and laughing at Ty's eagerness. Tykier quickly put on the skates, went into the ice rink, and tried to skate, but had a face pown from the slick ice, "Oof!" Ty got up and tried again, but this time, he tried to use his arm-wings to balance.

Dion's gaze had shifted back over to the purple haired girl as she apologized to him. The girl offered out her hand with her name and a smile before she, like many others, complimented his floating rings. Dion took it, pulling himself up just a little as he heard someone call his name. It wasn't Zach but someone else familiar. Dion turned his head to see Ebony and...someone else. It wasn't Bailey, that was completely obvious. Dion stared at the new woman for a moment, she must be her mother or maybe an older sibling. Dion didn't care all too much, he shifted his gaze back to Ebony as the girl known as Lori released his hand and stood up.
"Hey Ebony." Dion said with a slight smile as he stood on his hands and knees. He saw the Lori's hand offered to him again and he took it, he wobbled a little as he pulled himself up but aside from that he was okay. He swatted some of the ice off of the light jeans and dark blue jacket he wore before staring back to Lori. Her smile put him off a little bit. Was it really that great for the two of them to know Ebony? "Yes." Dion said. He resisted the urge to say he met her first since he wasn't sure if that was true. Dion wasn't exactly sure what else to say until he realize the lack of clothe this girl wore. He blinked at her exposed stomach. "You're not cold?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow at her. Emilie had made a fuse about him going out with out a hat and scarf. Both Zach and Dion had ran out the house before Emilie could wrap the two of them up to the point that they couldn't move.
Dion turned his head as he heard the sound of someone hitting the ground. A knew face this time and this one wasn't a girl. Dion stared over to him for a moment before looking back to Lori and Ebony. "Who's that?" He asked pointing over to the boy. He then looked to the woman besides Ebony. "Who're you?" He redirected his pointed finger to Dartsmoore.

He quickly got the idea of how to ice skate, and lowered his body, parallel to the ground. Getting distracted by seeing two spawns talking, he tripped and, once again, had the ice give him a face pown..."Oof!"
Eve rushed over to Tykier aid and helped him up, "Sweetie, are you okay..?!"

Ebony blinked a few times. "Oh my. That's Tykier and Eve. I'ma go see if he's okay. Be right back." the small purple one stated before slowly making her way away from her mother and carefully slid over towards her friend.
"Hey Ty. Are you okay? You look like you hit hard." she asked, blinking down at him. She'd have asked Dion and Lori that but both had seemed fine by the time she had gotten to them. Tykier had actually seemed hurt.
The short woman (for Dartie barely stood five feet tall) raised an eyebrow at Dion. "I am Dartsmoore. Ebony's Guardian."

Dion watched as Ebony skated over to the clumsy boy. Of course Ebony knew who he was, she knew everybody on the planet. Dion watched as Ebony spoke to him, asking if he was okay. Dion was struck by a sudden sense of jealousy, a frown graced his face as he stared at the two. Thankfully it was cut short by Ebony's guardian.
He turned to her at the sound of her voice. She was rather short but Dion was shorter so he couldn't say anything. For now at least, he hoped he wasn't that short when he got older. "Where's Bailey?" Dion asked, an accusing tone in his voice. Dion had liked Bailey, he was tall, nice and red. This woman was short and...well...Dion didn't really dislike her. He knew nothing about her. Still, he liked Bailey and he'd like to know where he was.

"Bailey is at home today. He's babysitting his younger brothers. He doesn't like cold weather very much and neither does my youngest, so Bailey's taking care of him." Dartsmoore clarified. She had no reason to hide the information from Dion, and given that Ebony knew him and she didn't, meant he probably had met the red child before.

"Freezing, actually," the green girl replied with a soft laugh at the question. "But clothes that go over my tummy don't last long," she admitted, glancing down at her stomach and lightly place a hand over her stomach before lifting her gaze to the woman only an inch or so taller than she was.
"You're Ebby's mo-.. ah.. Guardian?" She prompted, smiling and sparing a confused, worried glance towards the child that had slid. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Dartsmoore," she mused, smiling brightly and shifting on her skates.

"Mother, you can say I guess. The sprat does." Dartie said, with a slightly amused and affectionate smirk in Ebony's direction. That girl certainly knew how to drag her into social situations. "Nice to meet you as well, kid. Though just Dartsmoore. No need for Miss, Ms, Mrs, or Mister with me."
