 Midnight found herself walking away from Zak's house. Torn between finding some wild pokemon to battle or running away or just simple going back. She sighed to herself as she hide by a berry patch, roughly three miles from Zak's house. Just close enough to here Shera talking or her moving. By this Berry patch there was a very pretty river where she saw Magikarp swimming along. The sparkles off the water made her want to sing along with it. The reflection of the moon was like nothing she had ever seen before. She had never been outside her ball at night. She moved a little closer to the water and sat humming a song to herself. She made sure she would not touch the water for she would kill everything in it.

Kerry noticed Midnight walking away, as he sneaked away, and slowly started to follow behind her, but kept a distance behind her.
Seeing her examine the water, he slowly sneaks behind some bushes as he keeps watching her, now a little too nervous to talk to her, when he is usually never nervous around anyone, especially around girls.

The humming stopped and she turned her attention to what lurked in the brush behind her. Her long ears lay back and she sniffed the air. "You must be the umbreon that tried to talk to me the other day." She said softly and kindly, none of the anger she had felt her herself in battle yesterday. How she hated the trainer she had right now. "Why so shy?"

Kerry, realizing he's found, stumbles out.
"W-well, I've never met such a attractive Eevee before..." Kerry stutters. "Normally, I'm never shy, just ask anyone, I'm not use to it myself, but you make me feel all different." Kerry says while his face flushes a little.

Midnight's face under her fur went scarlet. "Thank you.." She replied softly and turned back around to face the water, not wanting him to see the blush. "Different...how? You just talked to me yesterday..and I didn't say anything..I found it rude of me."

Kerry gains a little confidence as he walks a little closer towards her. "First, I feel different, as in I want to make sure that I always make sure you're happy, because you make me feel all warm inside. As for your supposed 'rude-ness', your trainer, was asking you to do something, that you barely had time to respond to me, and you put your priorities to responding to your trainer first, and that makes perfect sense to me, so I figured, I would try talking to you again when you were less busy."

Midnight wondered if he had seen her before. She wasn't a strong believer in that love-at-first-sight thing. "Oh.." Was all she could say. Could she say she felt the same way about him? Well five minutes couldn't tell her that. She had a very good focus on him during the battle. It was the way he looked at her that gave her a chill. "Have you seen me around the safari or something?"

((Have they? I technically don't think they have...when you had her out, we were on still talking to different people that they didn't see each other...maybe...))
Kerry thinks. "Hmm...no, I don't think so...why? Don't believe me when I say I just like you, even though I might have just met you?" Kerry is finally starting to get his confidence back as he walks up to Midnight and looks her in the eyes, and when she tries to turn away, he trots over and re-looks her in the eyes. "No point in trying to look away, you have nice eyes, so why don't you tell me the truth, why did you ask me that?"

Midnight shook her head, lightly so she didn't turn her attention away from him. She could barely see his eyes through his mane. Her eyes were a creamy brown, she knew that. Why anyone thought they were pretty was beyond her. Shera wanted to get her all made over and all that girlie stuff she tried to avoid. "I-I meant nothing like that..I would never call anyone a lier...I was just..asking." Her words seemed to trail off as now she thought he was mad at her. "I'm sorry." She whispered and backed away from him a little.

Kerry, before Midnight could back away too far, stepped forward and nuzzled his cheek against hers, that it also moved the hair away from one of his eyes, showing his gold eyes staring into her eyes as he then smiles at her.
"It isn't fair if you can't see mine, is it?" Kerry teases, knowing he also sneaked in a nuzzle against Midnight's cheek to expose his eye.

Midnight stared into his eyes before leaning in a bit closer. "You have beautiful eyes." She said and looked at the rings on him. She knew nothing about his type. A branch off the Eevee...she knew one thing and one thing only. She loved him. "My name is Midnight."

Kerry smiles big as he nuzzles her again, exposing his other eye, using another excuse to nuzzle her, but now her other cheek, because he loved the feeling of their cheeks together.
"Midnight, I love the ring to that. My name is Kerry. So, what do you like to do for fun, other than battling?"

She went quiet for a moment. "I'm mainly with Shera...." Her voice trailed off for a moment. "I like to help her gather fruit and berries, pick flowers...sing sometimes...when I'm alone...I really don't know what I like to do. I haven't done a lot. Shera didn't really start paying attention to me till she noticed the power I had." She felt sparks when he nuzzled her, it sent a chill up her spine. "What do you do for fun?" She moved closer to him, wanting and yearning to feel those sparks again. She licked his cheek and blushed.

Kerry, feeling the slight electric energy when Midnight licked his cheek shivered a little as he smiles warmly at her. "I mostly do what my trainer, Kitty does, which is relaxing and playing games. But I'm sure, once we learn how to battle, she will train us to be better ponies." He then gets a little evil grin on his face, wanting to make her blush, saying to Midnight, "You have a shocking personality," he teases her as he then licks her cheek and stays there to nuzzle her cheek as he feels the electricity build up as he feels it run down his spine.

Midnight laughed. "I could teach you a think or two about battling...you know what moves you know?" She smiled as he nuzzled her again, this time nuzzling him back. She couldn't help but to deliver a light shock to him. Her heart was beating a mile a minute, she barely noticed the attack on him.
