Current Status of all Characters in the RP

Merci`: finishing up a perimeter check and shocked at her daugher growing up!!

Fauve: Is unconcious and alot bigger then she used to be!

Inathe: Is freaked out and in a tree wondering what the heck is going on!

Uriel: Is happily snoozing in Merci's room, in a trunk full of scarves.

Fauve's Gifts

Gifts from Kasai and Cinderfae

a) Fauve's very first gift comes from Cinderfae, one of the wonderful women that share the planet with us. I think Fauve has taken a shining to her, but with the girl it's hard to tell. sweatdrop

b) Cinderfae is just spoiling my little girl something fierce. When she was going through her things she found this and decided to pass it off to Fauve as another present! She loves her Aunt Cinderfae! Fauve has decided to name her jester 'Jabberwok'.

c) This is a present from Kasai! Fauve seems to really like him, and she plays with this little thing all the time. Her little wind up bunny has a special place of honor.

d) Hmmm... looks like Fauve might have a suitor? Kasai gave her this and ever since she got it she hasn't let it go. When I ask her about it she clams up and gets kinda shy, it's adorable.

a) I was just shopping around and I found this Dreamcatcher. I used to have one when I was a little girl and I thought it would be nice to get one for Fauve.

b) I found this on the same shopping trip, I had to get it for Fauve. When she saw it she liked it so much we decided to get all the other Masks one as well.

a) To celebrate the one month anniversary, Chae and Shiva gave all the Masks gifts. They made Fauve juggling balls! She's very excited about them.

b) Shiva and Chae got Fauve this beautifully crafted plushie! She adores the color and the little flappy wings. Seriously her eyes crinkled up with joy when she saw it.

Gifts from Nika and Green_Eyes

a) G_E and Nika got this for Fauve, it's supposed to involve telepathy, illusion, and poison. I can't let her have it for to long at a time, she's fond of wreaking havok with it.

a) Awww... She has the same look on her face the Fauve always does. She's happily been added to Fauve's lovely collection of Kitties, and been named Leishania.

Fauve's Inventory

Fauve is carring with her a dagger, light weight with a good balance. Probably best used as a throwing knife. She has it tucked away until Merci is up and about again.

Fauve has ribbons braided into her hair. They were given to her by Io, who got them when she went shopping after becoming a teenager.

Now, Fauve is the proud owner of two pink skill stone. The first stone bestows upon her the ability of Mimic, she can take on the appearance of another for 30 minutes at a time, but has to wait 3-5 hours before doing it again. The second stone gives her the ability to teleport, which gives her the ability to teleport from one place to another, as long as that place is in clear view or with in sight. She has to wait an hour between teleportations.

Fauve also owns a blue-green skill stone. This one gives her the ability to put a personal energy shield around herself for a short time (about 5mins). Time limit is equlivent to the strength of that attack it's gaurding from (the stonger the attack, the shorter it shield will last). Recharge time is 3hrs.

(This is where I will be recording feelings Fauve and I have on the different masks and fellow colonists on Masquerade.)

Masks
~Io~ Io was the first awakened Mask, and is currently a teenager. Her weapon of choice seems to be Bow and Arrows. Fauve likes her, though she seems a little cowed by the older mask.

~Cern~Cern is also a teenager. His weapon of choice is a giant hammer. Fauve hasn't really seen Cern, but I don't know how well they would get on. Fauve doesn't like dirt and Cern loves the stuff. Ah well.

Guardians
~Ice Queen~ Ice is our leader, she kinda holds the group together. She's a broadsword toting, steely eyed lady. She says what she means, and doesn't tiptoe around. She is Io's guardian. All in all I like her, Fauve hasn't had much interaction with her however.

~TrinityBlue~ Alright so she isn't quite a guardian, but she takes care of the masks before they get passed out. I know she's a healer, and kind of a mystery to the group. Fauve was one of the few masks she didn't handle.

~EverDark~ EverDark is Cern's Guardian, and a rather free spirit. She seems to come from a family of some wealth but much more then that I couldn't tell you.

??? ~Kazaiko~ This is Tiame's Guardian. I don't know anything about her, and Fauve has never met her.

~Uta~ This is frazzled Uta, and the guardian of Satehl. She has her hands full and can be seen chasing, or trying to distract her hyperactive charge.

~Haisyn Fierra~ Guardian to Ashirha, and sister to Verran. She is a strong, somewhat antisocial woman. However she is my closest friend on the planet, and Aunt to my mask. We're housemates, and protectors of "The Sisters" or "Double Trouble".

??? ~Unknown~ The Classic Mask child seems to be between Guardians?

~Merci`~ This is me, Guardian of Fauve. I like myself, I love my mask (The second half of "The Sisters")... Generally I'm a happy girl, but I have to say Fauve keeps me on my toes.

~Chaeval~ She came to deliver houses to the colony, and seems to be fond of gardening. She is the guardian of Shiva.

~Kaliskanny~ Kali is another one of my housemates at the moment, we kinda found the Hatchi's together as well. She's a down to earth woman, with excellent sense of direction. She's the guardian of Galilee.

~Green_Eyes~ She is the Guardian of Nika. G_E is a sweet girl, who seems to enjoy life. From what I've seen she's caring, and goes out of her way to make people feel accepted and better about themselves. I admire that about her, Fauve hasn't really been around her much.

~Cinderfae~ I really like Cinderfae, we get along rather well. She's the guardian of Kasai. Cinder's handy with a blaster and amazing with computers. Fauve likes what she's seen of her as well.

~Kataio F~ She is the guardian of Zahar. Kata is a little quiet, and withdrawn. However she's also got a beautiful singing voice and is always willing to lend a hand. I've found her to be easy to be around, Fauve again hasn't been around her much.

~RikProwley~ Neither of us has ever met the Guardian of the Sapphire mask

I thought about doing this for awhile, but now that I have a little one it's become more important. I wanted a way to catalogue and remember the things that have happened to me while on this strange planet, and with Fauve around I think I should get started on it.

Let me try to sum up what's happened to me thus far:

I arrived here with the colonists and started working on getting the colony put together. Digging by the way is not my favorite passtime, I will never forget having all that mud in my tail. Annoying as hell, is what that was.

I then got caught out in the hardest rainstorm of my life, I was trying to help a poor girl named Siyanna get back to camp. Seems she wandered off and got stuck under a boulder when it decided it needed to move.
I got her back to camp (eventually). We found out we missed the attack of the ROUS's luckily enough. I don't know how much of a help I could have been anyway. Siyanna recovered well, I'm happy to report.

The next morning I met the best friend I've made here, Haisyn, she went with me when I took a bath to get rid of all the grime that had clung to me through the storm and digging.

Then.. Oh yeah we went to the ruins of a temple after that, and found a crashed ship. I stayed outside with Kaliska, Loki and Haisyn to check out the ship, while everyone else went inside to explore the ruins. Kaliska found these crates, inside were hats that had eggs in them. Weird huh? Not when you consider that here children come from masks. That's when I met Verran. What do you say about Verran? He's a sweet guy, but definatly has a womanizing streak in him a mile wide. Ashirha appeared out of her mask then, the first time i saw that happen as well.

Ice was lost on that mission, but we had to try and move on. We got back to camp and set up new living arrangments, and I'm currently still in that house. I live with Haisyn and her family group (Verran is her brother), Kaliska and Kata.

Then.. I was kidnapped, by this tall skinny limey jerk. Who, by the by, doesn't taste to danged good. I got carted around over his shoulder (he kept patting me on my leg... grrrr), with this guy named Jimmy, and some evil looking dude named Silva. Not. Friendly. People! That ended with me biting Mick on the butt, running like heck, almost shooting Mick in the head, getting caught by them again, having the limey wack me across the head, getting up and shooting Silva in the arm. They got rifted off world by Loki, I think.

After that big adventure we got back to camp and Ice threw me my mask. I touched it and suddenly, I was in love. Fauve came out like a blonde angel. She's a little bossy, and wild, but she's my charge and I accept the responsiblity gladly.

I got one of those Hat's with eggs in them, but it got knocked off of me when I got hit in the head by Mick. Haisyn, Verran, Tavil (a little cat that is growing out of one of these hat eggs), and Ashy helped Fauve and I get it back. Fauve found some sort of lavender mottled egg when we were on our way home, it just hatched into this weird little lavender dragon looking thing. She named in Inathe.

I think Fauve should get to write in this too, and when she's done doting over her new aquisition I'll talk to her about it. Right now she looks about happy enough to skip in her sleep. I think I'm done for now, but I'll write when I'm able. Peace to all those who read it's pages, and know that happiness has finally found me, here on the uncertain world of Masquerade.

The world seems to have stabled out a little bit, I'm utterly thrilled. I'm sitting in bed right now thinking that I should try to get up and go looking for Fauve. I want to call her my daughter, but she isn't. She's my... ward? I don't know, when I see her though I'm filled with this unbelievable joy. I think that this is what parenthood must feel like.

I think thats part of why I don't understand how someone can just abandon their child. Leave them alone, with no one to watch them. It just doesn't make a load of sense.

Speaking of alone, Fauve wandered out of here last night. She was with Ashirha, so their probablay alri..... neck deep in trouble, or dead by now. I'll give her a chance to write again, if she isn't being strung up by a lynch mob or gone by now.

So I didn't really get to show of Inathe much, but Ashy likes him so thats good. I think he can understand me, because when I talk to him he looks at me and coos. It would be nice if he could hear me because then I don't have to try and train him to snaps of my fingers or something equally stupid like that. He eats fruit, he likes it. I tried to get him to eat meat but he just won't, and breads he'll nibble at but not very much.

Anyway, OH! I saw some new Masks given out, I think I recognize some of them. I'm not sure but I get the distinct feeling I know them. I just can't remember, it's like a word you can't quite remember. Or like a fact thats on the edge of your thoughts but you can't grasp. Maybe if I can get some more time alone to think about it, it'll come back to me.
