She'd met most of the other huntresses but she knew there were a couple she hadn't had a chance to yet. Dohani had them helping with the patrols and since she'd offered to help patrol she was often not around when the other females were.

She knew she would meet them eventually and wondered idly if they would tell her to stay away from the male she'd met the day before too. Grinning to herself she padded across the bowl that was the center of the pridelands while she had time to herself.

Perhaps, if she was lucky, she could find one of the girls she was missing the pleasure of meeting.

Chandana had taken up patrolling while there was a lack of members, and it was a good thing that she had, too. If she hadn't, who knows who would have found her brother, or if he would have even been alive by the time they reached him. That had been the best day of her life since she had come back to the pride, finding out that Arun was still alive. Even if the rest of her family was gone, she still had him.

She too was padding across the area that other female was, though in the opposite direction, so that soon she was seeing a figure approaching. She hadn't had time to get acquainted with all the huntresses, what with her duty and the time she was taking to spend with her brother.

"Hello there," she called out, pausing a short distance from the figure. It was one she recognized by sight, though not necessarily name, as a member of the pride. She really should try and make friends, she supposed, since she wasn't really talking to a particular red lioness at the moment.

She grinned slightly as one of the objects of her thoughts appeared from the others side of the pride lands. Perhaps she was getting a knack for being at the right place at the right time. It was a useful talent and she'd have to make sure she didn't loose it.

"Hello." She bowed her head slightly as she paused in her walking. It was the lighter of the dark red lionesses she hadn't met yet. She had been told her name but she couldn't for the life of her remember what it was.

She smiled in return, though it was very faint. She had a lot on her mind, the troubles with Kisirani not the smallest of them all by far. She took a few more steps forward, however, when she realized that the lioness probably had no qualms with it, and paused there. She had learned a few things in the rogue lands - most of all that strangers sometimes enjoyed their personal space.

"I.. don't believe we've actually met before," she said with a small smile, dipping her head a fraction, "my name is Chandana."

"no..." she shook her head slightly. "I am Nitanyamaza, though generally everyone calls me Nita." She'd found that most didn't like having to say a mouthful every time they wanted her attention. Thankfully she had an easy enough name to make something shorter out of.

"Nita, then," she said with a small smile. She had to agree, the lioness' full name was quite a mouthful, and she was glad she could address her as something a little easier to say and remember. "I suppose you can call me whatever you like, since the only real nickname I have a silly little one from my younger brother." She smiled brighter at the mention of Arun, though she didn't deviate from their topic.

"So how long have you been.. home?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. She had only been home for a small while and she had no idea who had come before or after her, especially given her task to help patrol.

"I wouldn't really say i came home." She laughed softly. "I wandered here on accident .... and was offered a home." She rather liked her new home too. The only expectations on her were ones that she could follow without truly thinking about them. They were just things that everyone should hope to have in themselves.

"I have been here for a bit though, weeks perhaps." She had lost tract of the exact time she'd been here.

"Oh, so you're not from the pride," she said with realization, nodding to the lioness as she spoke. She supposed there must have been a lot of new members here. The pride had been large before, so much so that she hadn't known everyone, especially since she had been a young, self-centered sort of creature who really only cared for Kisirani. "Well, it's good to have you then, a few more like you would put the kings at ease." They needed numbers, she knew that.

"About as long as I've been home then," she nodded, letting her eyes drift off to the horizon. She would have been home ages ago, but for a minor setback.

She nodded slightly. "The Kings seemed happy to welcome me." The pride seemed small from what she'd seen but with the stories Nya had told her that wasn't a surprise. She hoped she could do her best to help them and hopefully more would wander this way and join their ranks. "It will be nice when others return."

"Yes, when the others return.. the pride will be whole again," she said softly, with an almost wistful note in her tone. She missed the days where they were large and glorious, with no worries. The entire thought of what had happened made her blood boil.

"We can only go one day at a time and hope everyone returns to us, at least.. those that are still alive." Her face distorted a bit at this, caught between a frown and a scowl, though it wasn't directed at the lioness before her by any means.

"Everyone seems to be doing alright. Families growing and such." She had seen enough cubs under foot to know that even with the stress on the pride that they were still strong enough to go on with their lives.

She looked up as a cloud obscured the sun for a moment and remembered about Nya. "I should perhaps get back to my duties ... i wouldn't want Dohani bellowing at me." She smirked slightly.

"Yes, at least there is that," she said softly, remembering her own family momentarily. At that moment, though, she realized there might be something yet she could do to help her pride. A soft smile spread across her maw at that, nodding to herself.

"Yes, as should I, as I'd rather not have him breathing down my neck either," she said with a small chuckle. "It was nice to meet you, I'm sure I'll see you again soon," she dipped her head in parting, much like she had when she had greeted her, and passed the lioness to begin heading the direction she had originally been traveling.
