I plan on borrowing the game from my friend on the bus. Should I? What's it like. Sadly he doesn't have FFVIII or FFIX. I already have FFVII.

FF X is pretty good, it's not that hard actually...so you know for sure u'll get the ending and all =] but yes, I think that you should borrow it

A very good game!
There are times when you dont want to stop and keep playing you know?
Getting the aeons(all) can be hassle but the gameplay, story, music are fantastic!

Its a definite must play. The game was put together really well.The voiceing is just icing on the cake xp yum

definitely worth borrowing! the game is rather short if you go straight through, but if you do even half of the side quests, you can spend a REALLY long time. i've got well over 60 hours on mine and i'm nowhere near 100%. (also, this is about my 4th time through the game)
soundtrack and story line are uber!

I'll just do the main quest. Good. I'll try it. Someone said he'd let me borrow it in exchange for lending him Kingdom Hearts. With KH2 coming out he needs to refresh his memory. His brother took his to Puerto Rico rofl
Is it anything like KH?

no other squaresoft game (aside from X-2) is even remotely similar to KH. KH was more of an action RPG...FFX is active battle, turn based, but still fairly fast pace later in the game. as far as story, it blows KH outta the water! i'd say the story from FFX would be my 3rd fav

Nah, I don't believe any game can blow it out of the water. I heard FFX is good and I want to borrow it (course go figure he wasn't at school today) but KH is what got me into Final Fantasy anyway. Then I played my FVII which I still need to finish and I feel that I'm too late to play any of these.

Well I borrowed it in exchange for MGS2.
This game is fun. I can also see where KH got inspiration. Tidus' clothes look a lot like Sora's. Right now I'm at the village where Wakka is. the only thing I don't understand is the Grid. That makes no sense.
Wish I could've borrowed FFVIII but go figure he doesn't have it rolleyes

the sphere grid is REALLY simple once you get the hang of it. i mean, instead of leveling up, you get a number of spaces you can move on the grid. then, you use the spheres you get to activate the spaces on the grid. it is just like a board game. it takes skill and practice, but you'll get a hang of it eventually. the system of FFVIII is much more complicated that FFX's...
FFVIII is great though, definitely borrow/buy it asap

Nobody I know has FFVIII that lives around me. They borrowed it from someone else. Or bought it and sold it. scream I wanted to play it too! And Movie Scene doesn't have any Final Fantasy except for FFX-2 and FF:CC.

FF X is an excellent game. The story is slightly boring, but the battle system, weapon and armor customization, and idividual quips from the characters during battle make it reeeeeeeally good.

I definetly recommend borrowing it, it is a very good game.
Though, if you can get a list of the Al Bhed Primers... do it, or else you'll miss a bunch, and never understand what Cid is saying.... sweatdrop
definetly a fun game though. Make sure you get all the aeons!

OMG i LOVE this game!! I think its the best game ive ever played! Its amazing, and the music is to die for! Definite MUST play!
