Uruloki jogged through the woods, with droplets of sweat appearing on his body. He had just come from a strenuous workout which involved wrestling with the local taurs and repeatedly punching at a tree trunk. He stopped by a small creek to catch his breath and to cool himself down. After drinking from the creek, he splashed water onto his head repeatedly and felt the cool water drip down his chest and back.
He stared at his hands and paws. They were caked with dry blood. He was already by water, why not try to wash up a little?

With the wind at her tail, Tzipora pushed her aching body to run at top speed. Her life as a pack Beta was alot harder than she had ever really imagined, even if it was just a small group of ragtag misfits. She'd deal with enough complaints and training today to swear her off the job for good. But, she'd push through, like she was raised too.
She travelled out of her own territory to a creek, far away from the others. Right now, she just needed some alone time. The area was quiet but not enough to raise any questions. Tzipora had already stepped through the brush by the time she noticed that she wasn't as alone as she'd hoped. He must have been upwind of her, explaining the lack of scent. Too stunned to do anything more than stare, she let her giant axe to slip from her hands to the gold ground below with a loud 'Boom!'

Uruloki jumped at the sound. Not expecting company, he looked around frantically to see who or what it was, his eyes fell upon a fellow wolftaur.
A female wolftaur.
He just stared at her and felt the heat rush to his face. "H-hello there..." mumbled and waved a wet hand feebly at her. 'How embarrassing...' he thought. He had met a female just when he was 'bathing'. What would she think? Did he look weak? Did he look like a mess? '...I am a mess...' he thought as he glanced down to look at his fingers which was still covered in blood. He hoped she wouldn't comment on his looks.

" Your filthy. " Tzipora curled up her sensitive nose but instead of leaving, she stepped forward. He either didn't know how to clean himself off or he lacked the necessary skills to scrub himself on his own. Even if his physical appearance was becoming more presentable, that smell was potent. " You reek of blood and sweat, which makes you an easy target for any predators that want to pick on a rogue wolftaur. "
She stopped when she was close enough to touch him, her lilac eyes set in a stern gaze. " Hello, by the way. " Tzipora grasped his hand and tugged him down where she could scrub the digits for him.

"O-oh...well...y-you see..." he stuttered turning even more red, "I'm d-dirty because...I was training you see..." it was obvious, huh? " looked at his fingers sheepishly. "I-I'm sorry if my smell disgusts you..." he said childishly. "Which is w-why...I'm dirtier than usual..." he chuckled nervously. Being around females made his head twirl. Being around men all his life, Uruloki had zero experience with women.
He almost fell on his face as the taur pulled him down. 'Way to be suave.' he thought mentally punching himself. As if one couldn't turn any redder, Uruloki turned into a dark shade of purple. Or black. He twitched uncontrollably as she scubbed away on his calloused fingers. "A-ah...I-I can d-do it myself..." he mumbled.

Tzipora could tell he was uncomfortable but truly, she didn't give a rats a**. She tilted her head, quirking up an eyebrow to stare at him for a moment. Why was he stuttering like a greenhorn? You'd think by the way he was acting that he'd never been close to a woman before. Shaking her head slightly, she turned back to her work.
" Well, at least you were doing something respectable to get in this kind of shape. " A particular hard scrub was executed on the emphasized word. " Because, if you were, per say, doing something terrible I would have to kill you right now. " Tzipora smiled brightly and rubbed her thumb around a difficult spot. " What good fortune you must have, huh? "

"Respectable?" he tilted his head to the side. "I'm guessing you like to fight?" he voice went down to its usual low pitch. Thinking of sparring and training made him feel comfortable. "Would you say wrestling was a terrible thing?" he managed to crack a genuine smile.
What good fortune he had indeed. Stuttering around a female, a full grown man like him. And to top it off. She was practically washing him. He felt like a child. "I-I would never fight a woman!" that was the last thing he wanted to do.

Tzipora shook her head, a little frown on her face while he dug up at the blood under his nails. " Fighting is a horrible consequence of being alive. You have to fight for everything but wrestling, however, is quite different. " She didn't look up at him, afraid that he would lose his composure and start stuttering again. He already sounded so much more confident, which strangely made her proud.
Her body stiffened. " Excuse me? " Tzipora straightened up sharply, giving him a pointed glare before dropping his hand like it was on fire. " Whats wrong with fighting a woman? Do you think that I'm weaker than you? " If one thing was sure to break the stony mold she lived in, sexist comments were. Being raised in a household of males she already knew what it was like to be the 'weak female'. Tzipora's ears flattened back while she debated the outcome of punching the male in the face.

"You really think so?" he said cheerfully. "Wrestling is about fun and testing one's strength rather than violence." He watched her as she scrubbed his fingers clean of dirt. "My hands feel rather light now..." he blushed again as he realized that a woman was holding his hand.
"Oh! Oh no! I didn't mean that females were weak!" he retreated back a few inches. "I-It just goes against my morals to fight women! I'm sure you're very powerful, but I would never, ever strike a woman!" Maybe telling her that he didn't fight females was a bad thing. He sighed inwardly cursing himself for having no experience with women.

Tzipora crossed her arms across her chest and quirked up an eyebrow tactfully. Her instincts were telling her to just let him have it but daddy didn't raise no fool. She out ranked this ragged rogue and would not be brung down to his level, no matter how tempting it may be.
" Although I respect the fact you follow your code of ethics, I do not respect the way you worded your statement. Next time, be more cautious in your words. " Biting her lip, she stood and waded out into the frigid water to wash off the blood chips on her arms. The waters temperature helped to cool her head and better understand what he was getting at. 'Admirable, maybe but still...'

"Sorry...I didn't mean..." he trailed off. Oh boy. What did he do? He quietly started to wash his paws, untangling the matted fur. Maybe she was going to ignore him now? He sighed heavily and regretted what he said. 'I shouldn't be so impulsive...'
For the sake of conversation, he looked around. He glanced upon her axe that laid a few yards away. "I'm guessing that's your axe?" He walked over to it and swung it up with ease. "Lovely axe." he slid his finger gently across the blade. "Pretty sharp too."

Tzipora turned her head quickly to see the rogue holding her main means of self defense. Easily holding it. The very object that she had to struggle to lift each morning rested in his hands as if it belonged there. " A dull blade is a dead fool. " She whipped her hands off on her fur and sauntered over to him. " Its a family heirloom; passed down to the head of the household in each generation. "
Grinning cheekily, she rolled her eyes and shuffled her paws. " I - more or less - borrowed it from my brother. "

Uruloki laughed. "It wouldn't be a weapon if it was dull." he handed the axe back to her. "'Borrowed' eh? Does he know?" his eyes lingered at the axe . "It's a very nice axe." he repeated. Even though his main means of defense were his fists, it was nice to hold a real weapon every now and then.

" If he knew, do you think I would be holding it? " She grasped both hands around its handle, smoothing the pads of her thumbs against the smooth metal. It was dry, covered in filth that was only present when touched. Tzipora tossed it upon to her shoulder. " It was a pleasure to meet you but I'm afraid our chat will have to be cut short. I've been gone too long as it is and there is much work to be done. "
Truthfully, she just wanted to be away from him. Rogues made her tense and raised all sorts of alarms off inside of her, even around the pups. Being pack raised, she wasn't used to their kind and didn't take kindly to them getting so close. All except for one, that is, and he was a whole different story.

"It was nice meeting you too." he smiled feebly. He raised his arm to wave goodbye, but stopped short. Since she was a female, maybe she could teach him to be more of a...what would you call it? A 'ladies man'? Or help him feel more comfortable around females. He may be strong and tough, but Uruloki knew he was a dunderhead when it came to women.
"Er...I have to favor to ask of you since you're a woman and all..." he paused and took a deep breath, "As you've probably seen...I'm quite awkward around women...and well...I would like it if you would teach me how to be more comfortable around women..." he mumbled the last part embarrassed and scratched his head uncomfortably.
