Kiyoshi was heading to the park with his Daddy, giving Hari a break from the boy constantly being underfoot while letting Fenrir work on her latest project that he was certain he was going to end up having to wear... He was sitting up high, perched on the shoulder of a man that was nearly seven feet tall which made the small boy feel as though he were on top of the world. There wasn't a lot to see where they were currently, the world seemed to have been blanketed over in white and Kiyoshi felt the strangest fear that he was going to disappear into it.
Everything was white and so was he, white hair, nearly white skin and eyes... he was glad that the coat he was wearing was a dark blue or he wouldn't have gotten down from his perch. When he did find himself placed on his feet he regretted it, having sunk into the snow that was nearly up to his knees, "Woah..." He looked back and forth before he started to trudge his way over toward one of the parch benches, if he could get up on that he would be able to free himself from the deep snow that was making him move so slowly. From there he would decide what he wanted to do.
Behind him his giant of a Daddy followed, not helping as he wasn't asked to but there just in case Kiyoshi fell over as he would end up getting himself in over his head, "Be careful." He cautioned when he saw his son climbing out of the snow and up onto a rather slick looking bench.
Kiyoshi gave him a smile when he was up on the bench, free of the thick snow, and able to look across the park to try to find some of the equipment that wasn't to buried or perhaps someone to talk to his own age. He loved his Daddy but he missed Fenrir already...

The vague sound of giggles and shrill screams of excitement could not be missed in the distance. A lone child was trying his best to dodge miniature snowballs being hurled his way. Ducking, diving and weaving were as much as Puck could do in such high snow. He didn't mind in the least as he ducked almost falling under the snow when his father, Thanatos hurled another ball at him.
Two large Siberian Huskies yelped and barked at the child flitting around him and doing little to help but knock him back down into the snow where he squealed with frustrated laughter. "Atreyu that wasn't very nice!" Xan called to the gray and white Husky. He only got a bark of acknowledgment but for the most part, Atreyu was already rushing off at tops speeds down the bend. "Pantera go!" Xan called pulling out a yellow freezbie he tossed it into the distance, Puck managing to gather his senses enough to see the disc flying over head. He tried chasing after the toy but was bested by Pantera's swiftness; the brown and white Husky was just too fast.
Xan laughed calling the dogs over each one doing their best not to knock of the pocky boy but failing miserably as he squealed with surprise falling back into the thick snow. The cowbow hurried over pulling him out of the cool blanket setting him onto his shoulders for the time being. Puck's contrasting yellow, orange and white hair were easy to spot in such a long endless see of white. Despite that the boy insisted on having colors of a bright hue being that his coat was of the pumpkin variety and his gloves, scarf and even snow suit that he wore had some shade of orange, yellow or black. "You having fun, kiddo?" He asked to which he got an excited nod from the boy. Evident was the child's hefty breathing alerting Xan to a much needed break. "Lets take a breather and eat some lunch. I brought some soup in a thermos." Puck gleed at this bit of news clinging to the fairly tall man who moved through the snow toward a park bench, it was by then he noticed the fair skinned child an unusual sweet smelling scent filling the air around them. Puck picked up on it instantly to which it took Xan a fair amount of time to realize they'd stumbled upon yet another child like Puck.

Kiyoshi found himself starring open, while he knew he shouldn't and that it was rude he couldn't help himself. He'd never seen a dog before and now he was seeing two rather good sized ones dashing around through the snow with a boy his age and a man who was tall like Daddy was. He tilted his head to the side and watched as other boy vanished into the snow when he was knocked over, lifting up on his tip toes to try to catch sight of him again, "Where... did he go." He murmured to himself, worried he'd been swept away by the snow.
He gave a little smile, feeling relief when the tall cowboy rescued him from the snow that he'd vanished into. It was only as they started over in the direction that he and his Daddy were that he finally blinked and took a couple steps across the bench closer to where Baldric was standing. He couldn't help but feel the smallest amount of shyness around the new people, though as they got closer he was back to starring... something about that other boy made it hard not to watch him.
There was something strangely familiar about him even though he knew that he'd never seen him before in his short life.

"Ah!" The excited glee was all Puck would manage as he pointed in the distance. Wanting very much to meet the child even if he were wrong about his assumption. Xan gave a hefty laugh calling both his huskies over. The dogs barked at each other dashing through the snow to skid past the tall man from the ice gathering at their feet. "Careful." He called to the dogs who yelped and turned back on their hills.
With Puck on his shoulders, he helped the boy down into his arms smiling as he came around to where the other boy and his father sat. "Mind if we sit here?" He asked giving the boy a wink and nodding politely to the father. Puck giggled toward the boy smiling brightly that there was another his age to play with.

Baldric gave a nod scooting himself and his son over to make room for the newcomers, "Feel free." He said, giving a bit of a smile when he saw the curious look on his son's face. It was the first time he'd been so close to someone his own age aside from his sister and had the serious chance of talking to them. Normally the only others he saw were at a distance when they went into the shop at the mall.
Despite this and his excitement Kiyoshi seemed to be at a loss for words, stepping closer to Puck but was unable figure out what he should say. He seemed to be thinking hard before he finally got out a single word, "Hello!" He chirped, a bit loud from nerves which caused him to flush a little.
Baldric gave a grin then motioned with his hand first to his son then himself, "This is Kiyoshi and my name is Baldric." He introduced them, to take some pressure off of his son.

Xan smiled nodding in response as he took a seat being mindful to leave a fair amount for the other two. He went about giving Puck some of his soup from the thermos looking over to Baldric and his son.
When Kiyoshi chirped his greeting Puck jumped slightly. The sudden break in silence had startled him just enough but he only managed a giggle holding out his hand like he'd seen his father do when greeting others.
"Nice to meet'cha Bladric, Kiyoshi. This little guy here is Puck. He doesn't talk much so you'll have to excuse him if he seems a bit mute." He nudged Puck softly who gave a gale of giggles one notion that he wasn't mute just chose to be silent for the time being. Xan still had no clue why he wouldn't speak but didn't mind the silence so much as some kids could be quite noisy. Looking at his thermos he turned to Baldric. "Would you guys like some. I got plenty? Bit chilly out it is." Xan offered though his Huskies chose that time to bark their concern for food. "Yeah yeah ya mutts..." Tossing some treats from his bag the two dogs barked at each other for the majority growling and jumping at each other then bounding away in the distance. "Mutts." Xan muttered with a smile. "They're pretty harmless. So what brings you two out on such a snowy day?"

Kiyoshi looked down at the boy's out stretched hand, remember the custom from watching his Daddy and Dad when they were at work and he reached out to take the hand, shaking it. He gave a happy smile when he heard the man give the name that belonged to this boy,
Puck. What a neat name! He tightened his grip a little on the other's hand when the dogs came close, eyes going rather huge... they were large creatures, loud and a bit scary close up. He looked over at Puck but the other boy didn't seem at all bothered by them... and his father did say they were harmless. None the less he found them intimidating.
"Kiyoshi isn't used to getting a word in, his sister is a bit of a chatter box so it might take him a bit to realize he can talk." He said with a laugh. He looked over at his son, to see if he wanted some of what was offered to them but he seemed to caught up in his new friend, "Thank you, maybe later."
"We came out to see the snow, he's not seen a lot of things... hard to believe but he wasn't born all that long ago." Baldric explained, the boy found even the most simple things to be fascinating in a manner that amused Baldric to no end. He could only imagine what it was like to see everything for the first time like his son did.

"Interesting." Xan breathed patting Puck affectionately on his multicolored head. "Puck is fairly new to this world as well. He hasn't spoken much but he does seem to repeat what interests him the most. So far no vulgar words which I'm glad for."
Xan watched Kioyoshi with a warm smile noting his alarm at the mutts. With a soft whistle both dogs barked softly then took a seat resting calmly as instructed. "They really are harmless but for your sake I'll make sure they remain under control." Xan informed. Both dogs giving a soft chirp in acknowledgment of their master.
Puck smiled walking over to both of them for a warm hug. "No hurt." He spoke as indication and beckoned Kiyoshi to take a look for himself. "No hurt."

"Heh, luckily neither of mine have picked up anything like that either." It was a bit surprising given the people who frequented his place of work. He turned to look at the dogs, watching them. They were rather good sized but seemed to be really well behaved, "They are very well trained." He sounded quite amazed, not really being to familiar with dogs himself aside from those he passed on the street.
Kiyoshi looked over at Xan for a long moment as he seemed to so easily get the dogs to do what he desired. He then slid down off of the bench to follow after Puck who seemed so at ease with the large, four legged beasts. The small boy's eyes filled with wonder when Puck went up and hugged one of them as if they were just stuffed animals!
"W-Wow..." He murmured, moving slowly closer and held a hand out to them as though to greet them with a hand shake. Maybe if he greeted them first they would be more likely to like him, "I-I'm... Kiyoshi." He told the closest dog before cautiously petting its fur, "Soft."

Puck giggled watching Kiyoshi carefully his arms wrapped around the female, Pantera. While Kiyoshi had went to introduce himself to the male, Atreyu. As if to shake the boys hand, Atreyu lifted his paw and placed in his tiny hands giving a soft whimper of acknowledgment. He returned his paw to the snow nudging the boy's cheek softly in answer to his soft fur.
Puck gleed and replied, "Atreyu like, say hi. Pet more!" Apparently he could only speak in broken words but that was more than enough to get his point across. "Pet, pet." He urged giving Pantera another hug.
Xan smiled watching the dogs as he turned to Baldric. "They were with me since I was little. Quite protectivebut they're getting older in age. I guess its only natural for them to obey so easily... They had puppies not too long ago. I'm working with the little buggers now so Puck can have his own. About a litter of five. The rest are up for sale right now." He smiled giving Atreyu a soft scritch behind the ear. "Good boy."

"Wha?" Kiyoshi gave a jump of surprise then a happy giggle when the dog lifted its hand and shook. He looked over at Puck as though curious if the other boy had seen that amazing display! Then he turned back to the dog, feeling a little more at ease with it, stroking his hands over Atreyu's soft, pretty fur.
Pups for sale? For a moment Baldric looked slightly tempted, but had to force away that temptation, "Hmm, I would like to be able to get a pet for my two but its a bit impossible at the moment." He felt a little guilty about it, both he and Hari worked five days a week, long and random hours, sometimes taking work home with them... and when they were at work their kids went with them since they owned the business and both were to young to be on their own, "Wouldn't be fair to the animal either." He hated the idea of getting an animal only to have to leave it alone at home waiting for them.
When they were old enough to stay home by themselves perhaps. He looked over at Kiyoshi, a bit of a shame. He seemed to be getting used to the dogs and Baldric didn't want for him to be afraid of animals because he was never around them.

"Well they are still young and I don't like giving them away until the owner has trained with them so they get used to the pups. So if you ever find time you can bring Kiyoshi over to play with Puck and get used to the dogs. I have some horses, chickens and a few other wild life around the ranch there." Xan chuckled softly noting the look on Baldrics face. He could understand a hard working man when he saw him. Must be hard but Xan had done his fair share of hard work, thankfully he wasn't attached to anyone at the time and could keep his eyes on the prize.
Now it was different. With Puck running about, horses, dogs and even a new addition to his household it was going to be harder to his usual work. Maybe it was time he got the ranch open to the public for riding lessons and a small petting zoo. Would be nice to have more kids around for Puck.
Speaking of Puck, he continued to hug Pantera leaning on her soft fur while he watched Kiyoshi. Atreyu gave a soft low bark nudging the child again with his cold wet nose. "Atreyu like, Kiyoshi." Puck informed letting everyone know he was not without words. "Puck like Kiyoshi too!" Smiling brightly he released his hold on Pantera coming to take Kiyoshi's hand. "Play?" He turned to look at both adults bowing his head politely. "We play, please?" Puck asked, looking between them.
Xan smiled eyeing Baldric with a shrug of his shoulder. "I have no problem if Baldric here doesn't but be careful."

"That might be nice, Kiyoshi hasn't seen anything like that before so I am sure that he would like it... well once he gets used to them." He said, glad to see that his son was getting along better now with the dog, petting it and looking much more relaxed around him.
Kiyoshi looked over a Puck, face flushing a little bit then gave a happy sound, "I like you too." He said, "Atreyu and Puck both." He laced his fingers with Puck's before looking over at his Daddy, to make sure that ti was alright that they went and played.
"Just be careful." Baldric said, lifting a finger to scratch at the tattoo on his cheek. While worried that he might not be able to find Kiyoshi if he got lost in the snow because he blended in to well he didn't want to keep his son from being able to have fun with his friend.
The milk pocky boy gave a happy sound and turned to look at Puck, "Alright! Let's play." He said, his voice filled with his excitement over getting to play with his new friend.

"Eeeee..." Puck squealed happily lacing his fingers with Kiyoshi's as they both ran out into the snow. Atreyu and Pantera stood up looking to Xan for a moment both of their tails wagging excitedly. Obviously they wanted to play as well.
"You can go but don't be rough with the kids." The dogs barked in unison and rushed after the children, even after saying that, Atreyu pounced Puck who squealed happily managing to let Kiyoshi go least he be thrown to the snow.
"Atreyu! I said be gentle!" The dog barked in reply pulling on Puck's coat to help him up but the boy was content to just frolic in the cool powder. "Angel..." he called out to the other boy. "Snow...angel. Make...we make!"

Kiyoshi gave a little squeaking sound when the dog pounced on Puck, flapped his arms wildly and was able to keep himself from falling over into the snow. When he was steady once more he walked over to where Puck was, "Snow angel?" He asked, curious as to how one was supposed to make one of those, "How?"
He knelt down next to his friend, awaiting explanation on the making of the interesting sounding snow angels. Maybe they were like snow men with wings?
