Sitting beneath the roads above, lies a house in what used to be a sewer tunnel. The entrance to it is secret, and though there is no light that shines down from above, it is a place of hope. This is the Main House of the Resistance.
Within these walls are rooms available for passing Red Hounds and a few extra rooms for their guests. It is set up like a normal house, with a few interesting little quirks. Unlike a normal house, there is an elevator that leads down to a lower level, which holds a full training room for the soldiers.

Sven sighed as he stood in the library of the house. He had maps spread out all over the place and was going through books upon books of notes that his Red Hounds had written.
The man clad in armor shook his head as he slammed his fists down onto the table, nearly breaking it. "There must be a way inside! There has to be!!" The problem with entering the Asylum, was drawing attention, and the ground had been cemented all around, ensuring no one could dig their way up.

Keeli had been on her way to Sven's office when she heard something slam within. She hooked her finger around the cord of one of her earbuds, which pumped music from her MP3 player. She lifted one eyebrow, wondering what pissed him off know.
Her initial mission about giving the details on the last raid forgotten, she called after rapping her knuckles smartly against the door, "Sven, you're blood pressure prob'ly just shot through the roof. Calm down and eat some yogurt. You'll kill yourself at this rate."
Sven may be big, somber, and austere to boot, but she couldn't pass up any opportunity to tease him. He needed to lighten up some more.
Without waiting for an invitation, she let herself into his office and slouched against the doorframe.

House hobbled through the halls of the main floor trying to head to the kitchen when he heard the two reds talking. He moved over the door way lightly hitting Keeli in the shin with his cane.
"I believe I am the doctor here, I think I will decide if his blood pressure is high or not...idiot."
Moving past her he approached Sven and looked over the stressed out giant of a man.
"The big lug is fine, last time I saw him his blood pressure was low due to dietary reasons, a bit of stress will do him some good. But really what the are you doing with all this stuff here?"

Sven looked up to the both of them and rubbed his head. "Fighting again. If anything get's my blood pressure to raise, it's the two of you." The large man turned back to the maps again and ran his fingers over them. He finally just gave up and slumped back into a chair as they asked their questions.
"What am I doing? The same thing I've been trying to do for over three months now! I know there is a way into the Asylum, but I just can't find it. They've thought of everything! The ground is cemented so there is no way we can dig our way up. They have a fifteen foot high brick wall with barbed wire at the top and the security systems are all fitted to scan the back of the handlers necks."
He grumbled and leaned foreward. "The only way I can find is if we take the barcode from a handlers neck and plaster it onto our necks. But even then, it runs up a database and checks the retena's as well."
He moved his hand back and itched the back of his neck before standing up, it was obvious that Sven was restless. But he never did sleep much. He was always up and always working.

"Idiot...are you forgetting the projects? Even if we got in we would need the man power to fight those freaks. As for a retinal scan...you would be surprised how easily four years of medical training can help in optaining those."
He popped another few pills and then walked around looking at the books but absent mindedly kept talking.
"Come to my office tomorrow so I can perscribe something for your stress...but you get none of mine."

Keeli pretended like her shin didn't hurt a little where the good doctor whapped her. Instead she grinned, "You both just need a little lovin' that's all." She waved a flippant hand. Still lounging in the doorway, she picked her fingernails absently. "Well, we could also find a naive volunteer to toss in on the inside of the Asylum to be our little secret project spy. Find some weaknesses through their eyes, you know."
She sometimes thought about this, even ready to volunteer herself, except the Asylum scared the crap out of her. She didn't want them messing with her sanity. Besides, her Red Hound tattoo was a dead giveaway that she was an infiltrator. They'd have to get fresh blood to do the dirty work. It was likely a suicide run, regardless.
She kept her relaxed posture, wondering if the older men would even consider her neurotic suggestion. A wry grin twisted her lips. Or they'd explode, which would be much more comical.

"I'll be sure to do that, but in the future I must ask that you try to refrain from hitting Keeli. We all must learn to play nicely." He rubbed the back of his head again and looked to Keeli.
"Your suggestion is good, but we must remember we are trying to save the innocent, not destroy them. I want to find another way if it's possible. If not, then we may have to go with your own plan."
He sighed at the thought and looked to the Doctor. "Weren't you supposed to give me reports on what you've found from the carcasses?"

Keeli folded her arms smugly and stuck her tongue out at the doctor behind Sven's back. These guys needed to learn how to play before they could play nicely.
When he mentioned carcasses, she perked. "Carcasses? What carcasses? Projects?"

"Sort of, more like the failed experiments of the Asylum. We found a whole pile of them rotting when I took that trip to Australia. I dug through and pulled out the good specimens, preserved them, and brought them back to our good ol friend House here."
Sven nodded over to House and looked to Keeli. "Does that excite you? perhaps I'll send you out on the battlefield since you enjoy death so much."

Keeli's expression hit a brick wall at his last sentence. She was eager as any Red about studying projects. The more knowledge they had, the better off they'd be. Death being exciting, not so much. She enjoyed life, not death. Unless was he being funny, which Sven wasn't known for.
"Might be interesting," she conceded carefully. "But Sven, honestly, do I look like one of your normal bloodthirsty minions? Come on. I may not be well educated, but I'm not stupid. Self-preservation, man. It wins out over my more primal instincts. You want to send me into the battlefield, you make sure I'm well versed in the area, not hopped up on bloodlust."
Keeli was all right in a fight. The most problems she came across was being out-sized and outweighed by opponents, and her aim could still use some improvement when it came to guns. Her explosives knowledge was coming around, too. Still, her best area was driving.

"What? The few that you and your men managed not to completely mangle? What was left of most of those corpses was not enough to feed a small dog. But I reported what I found with the better ones. You can pick them up when you see me, think of it as incentive to show up."
House walked over to to Keeli and made to hit her with his cane but instead stopped and moved away from her.
"Your idea has merit...but you forgot one important thing. Background checks if we tried to get someone in as a handler and mental conditioning of the projects...you are far too naive at times."

" Go go go!" screamed a Richard as they ran towards the teleport beacon. Bullets flew past the two men as they ran, firing back whenever they could. they had killed the rest of Tony's squad and now only him and richard where left. Tony went to go fire back but his gun was empty. In anger he threw it down and gunned it. Richard followed close behind...they where almost there when richard let out a cry of pain and fell to the floor.
Tony stopped and went to go get him. " No! Leave me! Thats an order!" he yelled at Tony. He struggled for a few minutes before Richard aimed his gun at him. " Now!" he yelled. Tony nodded and ran. Suddenly a searing pain ripped through his shoulder as a pulse bullet went through it. He stumbled but not before falling into the teleporter. Bullet proof glass raised infront of him as he saw the Combine crowd Richard, who suddenly held up a grenade. tony banged on the glass with his good arm screaming fruitlessly as a green light surrounded him. The last he saw was a man smiling back at him and then an explosion and blackness
" Richard!" Tony yelled out but found himself on a small bed. His shirt was off and his wound was covered and bandaged. He heard people talking in the other room and tried to move but his body was so sore. " Where the hell am I?" he whispered.

Keeli rolled her eyes heavily. "Thank you, Mighty Doc of Light, for that inspiriting revelation of my character." She grinned at him cheekily.
At least he didn't hit her with his cane again. She would have subsequently been tempted to steal it from him and run away. But, after another thought on her diabolical plan (if only he whacked her) she came to the conclusion that beating a cripple in a footrace was unsportsmanlike.

Alex walked briskly towards the Arch-General's office. He was itching for a new mission, anything to do. He felt as though he'd been sitting around the house for so long, while the Asylum kept up it's dirty work.
Approaching the door and finding it open, Alex was slightly surprised to find Dr. House and Keeli there.
"Well, it's a party in here, how come I wasn't invited?" He grinned briefly, then turned to Sven.
"Sven, don't mean to bother you, really.......well, not anymore than usual. But listen, I need something to do. Seriously, I can't take being here at the house anymore, I want a mission. It's killing me here, no joke."
Alex's request was not unusual, he was often anxious to be out in the action. Partly because he was a 21 year old guy working at the same place as his parents, but most people just figured constant movement was in his blood.
