Hurrah or woeponies. It's up to you.
December brings the realization that I don't want to be so fat for the new year. So it's just a little weight loss thread to keep track for anyone/everyone. Mostly me I suppose.
I'm going to eliminate meat, dairy (recently learned I was allergic as an infant and want to explore that), and sugar. We'll see how that goes. [:

I would join you if I didn't have disordered eating issues. There's no possible way that I can do any sort of weight-loss the healthy way.
But good luck! I'll be rooting for you from the sidelines. Stay safe heart

Oh wow, you're my idol now!!!! I've finally been able to stop eating meat again (if you're given food, you gotta eat it TT^TT mom wanted turkey, ugh), but now, no more meat for me, yay! Anyways, I don't have any daiy, but a little butter when I bake or ice-cream, but i can do without buttter, so I have now(litteraly) decided to do that . . . . sugar is my hardest thing, but hey, if you can do it, then I can too right? RIGHT?! YEAH!! I'm gonna do what you're doing!!! RAWR! No meat, dairy, or sugar!!! I'll make mom eat those scones, heh-heh. >w< Although, I'm already rather small (I'm 5'2" aka 157cm and 117lbs aka ugh, idk, lol) I've been getting a bit weak. Like, i'm not as strong as I used to be. I'm out of school, so i don't do so much anymore. But I think I'll stick to my Tibetan Rites now and what not. n_n What do you do for exercise? I'll join you! We'll support each other! Yay! i've got willpower! >w< I want to build up my arms the most, I've always been weak there since I'm a tiny girl, eh. And I want more stsmina again too; i used to be able to run forever nonstop, now . . ..I don't even want to think about it. TT^TT But I'll change that! >w<

Oh, and I was also allergic to dairy as a baby. The first time I had cow's milk, I violently pukerd it across the room . . .literaly according to my mom and grandma O_O boy, was I a scary kid. I also was allergic to corn and red 40 (i got very mean when eating something with that dye). I read somewhere before, that if you go without something for about a month or so, and then you eat it again, you can find out if you're truly allergic to it or not. My mom did that with some nut she loved and had a bad reaction to it when she tried eating it again. Apparently her body had become accustomed to it when she was actually allergic to it, interesting.

awesome support!
For exercise I just do the treadmill for an hour on the highest incline. I've been thinking that I'll expand into a stationary bike and alternate days with weight machines (to build strength because I'm weak as well). I also want to get back into doing yoga.
It's a lot. I'm currently sticking with the treadmill.

No problem!
I was allergic to cow's milk as a baby too. That's just cause you're not supposed to give infants cow's milk, but my parents didn't know at the time. It happens to most babies.
If you want to get stronger though, I wouldn't suggest giving up meat, unless you're already a vegetarian.

@Nutmeg - When I eat meat, (which I rarely do, but am stopping completely now) I get to feeling very 'heavy' and my stomach gets upset and it takes forever to digest; I can feel it now and I do not like it. Plus, as i have gotten older; the thought of eating another living being has been bugging me for some reason, I understand the importance of it to others, but I just can't see myself as a meat eater now '^_^ Ah well, it's fine with me anyways after reading a ton on how it just sits there and fermints and so on, but no gross stuff now.
I'm sorry Onicoe, I failed you recently, but I'm getting on it now! Mwa-ha-ha!! >w< I keep saying "no meat, no dairy, no sugar' whenever I go into the kitchen, lol. Works pretty well >w<

Keep at it Prince!
I cranked out 3 miles today and I'm currently thanking heaven for ibuprofen. I'm becoming more aware of my food intake and realize that I'm seriously dependent on bread. I'm a bread addict. It's so tasty. crying I need to moderate it.
I also caved and bought some locally produced goat cheese. So delicious. Today was the first day of the indoor winter farmers market and I went a little spend crazy.

That's great to hear! :3 Do you have an end date in mind, or is it "it'll happen when it'll happen" sort of thing? Are the main ways going to be elimination and exercise? (Why, in all the wonderbreads of the world can't I ever spell "exercise" properly?)
When I had my gym membership, the instructor said that a good way of burning tummy weight it to walk moving your arms. So I walked lifting weights. (Helps with balance too.) Doing so makes your brain produce some hormone that burns tummy fat. Thought I'd throw that out there.
Please do keep us posted. heart

Healthy diet and exercise basically. My main problem has always been a lack of exercise and overeating. It borders on compulsive sometimes.
I have no end date in mind, basically because there's such a large amount of weight I need to loose to be in a "healthy" weight for my height. It's not going to happen overnight. Hopefully by the end of next year. Maybe a good goal would be to have half the weight lost by summer..

learning to love the salads. (I've never liked salads)
It's my birthday so I'm making waffles then hitting the gym. I figure this is a much better strategy than hitting the gym then having cake or something.
It's a little shocking but the more I work on elimination sugar (as in candy/cakes/junk food) the more I seem to be craving it. Seriously sugar is an addiction, which I've already read stuff on that subject it's just different when you experience it.
