Wandering around on her own once more, Adhara had come upon a strange little store that she'd never been inside of before, usually because Noah didn't let her go places that were a 'waste of time'. In her opinion, this shop was most certainly not a waste of time. She pushed the door open and stepped in quietly, awed by the strange silence of the antique store, as well as the dust. Touching a small display of handmade dolls, looking at each one separately, she stirred up some dust, and covered her nose and mouth before sneezing. Blegh; dust was not one of the best things in life, and this store definitely needed some better cleaning. Maybe the dust made it more... antique?

She continued around the strangely expansive store, looking at all the neat little things stacked haphazardly on various shelves and tables. Niita poked at the glass covering the insides of a grandfather clock, but Reena remained listless, hovering around and looking at a few things, but otherwise seeing no reason to really move from where it was.

The teenager was in a place he normally would never dare to tred, mostly due to the fact that he was always so worried that his tentacles chii and fuu were going ot break something. Now though even if he was a bit tired he was enjoying the silence and worry free afternoon in the antique store. He shifted when he heard someone else enter the store he spotted the girl quickly and remembered their first encounter.

At first he stiffened, and then realized that he didn't have to worry about his tentacles trying to molest her again.

"A...ah...hello again." He murmured as he went to approach her. She was older now and she was cute. He felt his face flush slightly, he was so much older than her...that was not something he should be thinking.

Adhara twitched a bit at the break in the silence caused by the soft spoken words, wings extending slightly in a surprised fashion. However, as he finished his statement, she recognized the voice and smiled brightly, turning on heel to face the familiar- well, she thought he was going to be familiar. Oddly enough, he'd also gotten bigger since their last meeting, and seemed rather... lethargic, actually. Adhara took another step forward, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose and peering at the other curiously, as though he'd become another person. Though, he hadn't really; he seemed to be the same soft-spoken boy whom she'd met at the food court, he was just... taller. And had longer hair. And... seemed much more tired, though most things seemed tired through Adhi's eyes.

Finally, deciding that this was in fact the Adriel she'd known before, she smiled brightly and wrapped her arms around his middle happily. "I've missed you, Adriel!" she exclaimed happily, ignoring Reena and Niita as they immediately pulled as far away from Adriel as they could, trying to grab for something that they could use to help pull their Adhara off the boy connected to Chii and Fuu. Unsurprisingly, Adhara detached herself from the boy before her tentacles had a chance to pull anything over behind her. She blinked curiously at the tentacles connected to the older boy, and poked one of them gently, before she peered up at the boy that they belonged to.

"What's wrong with Chii and Fuu...?" she asked with concern. They hadn't had names the last time the two Lust spawn had met, but she'd learned them when she'd met Wynni at the optometrist's office and gotten her own tentacles named, as well. Niita, always the first for curiosity, reached out to gently tap at one of Adriel's tentacles, sensing that they weren't about to attack any of the three. Reena, on the other hand, stretched out to prod against Adriel's hand gently, before trying to wriggle through his fingers once again, as they had the first time. Adhara pouted a bit, but she assumed that Adriel, of all people, wouldn't as much mind her tentacles. "Sorry. They've been acting like that a lot more since I had to go meet J'her..." She didn't make the comment about them being more like Adriel's tentacles now, though it stayed in the back of her mind for a moment. That would be rude.

As usual he always stiffened at contact but Chii and Fuu didn't react in much of a way if at all and thus he hugged the girl back happily. It was funny how now the rolls were changed, he was always so worried about his own tentacles making a mess of things and now he got to observe being on the receiving end of the attention. He looked to Adhara noticing she had glasses;

"Your glasses are cute." He informed her as he did think they looked cute on her, he then looked to Chii and Fuu whom still lay on his arms, draped like heavy rope. "I've m..missed you..t..too Adhara." He replied politely to her.

"Ah...Chii and Fuu...arn't feeling well...its because I am on some medi...medication." which reminded him he was nearing the end of his supply and he would need to go get more. Though he was unsure if he really wanted to....but too scared to be without them.

His eyes widened slightly as she mentioned J'her. So she had gone to see that woman already?
"Oh?.....Mine di..did the same..t..thing...wh..when I met her." He recalled how...active they were as well inquisitive.

As Chii was poked it only shifted a bit as if irritated but couldn't do anything about it. Fuu remained quite and Adriel gave a soft laugh as Reena intertwined through his fingers. He stroked the limb absentmindedly missing his own limbs whilst he did it.

Adhara smiled at the glasses comment a bit self-consciously, pushing the wire frames up her nose a bit. "Thanks. I had to get them when I got bigger," she said, quietly compared to her usual tone of voice, as she, herself, didn't like her glasses all that much, especially when she lost them, or when Niita took them off of her and played 'keep away'. Of course, everytime the appendage tried to play the game with Reena, the leftmost tentacle always stuck the glasses back on Adhi's face; and then, of course, they started fighting again.

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that," Adhara said, trying to be polite, and in fact telling the truth as she reached out a hand to gently stroke one of the tentacles wrapped around Adriel's arms so lethargically. She was a bit worried about them, though, and missed how affectionate they could be, even if they were a hazard to Reena and Niita, if their last meeting was anything to account for.

Adhi nodded a bit when Adriel recounted his own meeting with the Lust demoness and frowned softly at Niita, who continued to poke at Chii curiously, which the girl saw as rude. As such, she shoved the tentacle away from Adriel's and gave it a bit of glare, at which time it nuzzled against her face, assuming that would make it automatically forgiven, before it turned it's attention back to Adriel, nuzzling against his cheek as well, glad that it wasn't going to be grabbed by one of the other Lust boy's tentacles again. Adhara couldn't help but giggle softly; their behavior always amused and perplexed her in one way or another.

"Yeah; mine have been acting like that since I met her, and Guinevere says that they've been getting worse about it. No one but the adults really seem to mind, though," she commented, tipping her head as though it would explain to her why only the adults cared that her tentacles were overly-affectionate. Reena wriggled happily at the attention, curling around Adriel's pointing finger possessively, as most people seemed to only ever give Niita affection, given it was the more... outwardly affectionate one.

Perhaps it was the presence of another lust baised child, but it was as if the limb was trying desperately to rouse itself from its lethargy though it only managed to move slightly under the stroking of Adhara's fingers. Adriel felt a moment of regret taking the drugs...mostly beacause it really did hamper his limbs.

"Yeah...I know what you mean...m..my mother..a..always freaked...when ...t..they behaved...l...like that." He concured his similar experiences.

"My visit with J'her..was breif....I don't recal it very much...I was young too.." He murmured as he reached a hand out to stroke the tentacle that was stroking his cheek, as well giving a soft laugh at Reene who was holding onto his other fingers in such a possesive manner.

"S..so what brings you i..in here?" He inquired as they were both in a very strange store for them both to accidentally run into each other.

Adhara couldn't help but frown a bit sadly at the tentacle the stirred so weakly beneath her touch, and allowed herself another step forward to take it more like a pet cat of sorts, petting it gently in a similar fashion, smiling a bit now that she wasn't being attacked by them, though it would have been rather interesting, now that she had a bit of control gained over Reena and Niita, even if it wasn't a lot. She nodded in agreement. "Yeah, adults and parents do that a lot. But Ebony and other people like that are fine with it most of the time. They like Reena and Niita, usually," she commented with a gentle frown, patting one of her own tentacles for a moment before turning her attention back to Fuu, the tip of which was flopped in her arms.

"Well, I've seen this place a lot, when me and Noah are taking a walk or taking the bus, but he's always told me that we don't need to go in because this place is a 'waste of time' or something like that. I dun'no why, but he doesn't seem to like stuff that's related to history very much," Adhara replied. Niita, happy with the pats, made sure that Adhi was distracted before it slipped itself behind Adriel's neck very slowly. "What about you, what are you doing in here?" she questioned in reply, and in that moment, Niita pulled Adriel down, lips level with her forehead once more, making the smaller girl turn a fetching shade of red.

Grumbling a bit, but unable to keep from laughing faintly, she tried to pull Niita off of her friend. "'M sorry, Adriel! A-apparently they still remember you, though..." she commented sheepishly, still trying to pry the stubborn tentacle from the taller boy, before just punching at it weakly, not really wanting to hurt herself or the tentacle. "Niita, leggo!! You don't do that!!"

Adriel's own face went rather pink as well as suddenly he found himself much lower than before. and his face was also very close to her forhead. Apparantly her tentacles recalled the kiss he had given her when they had first met. He smiled and then gave her a light kiss on her forhead, feeling...better after he had done it.

"Its al...alright...I k..know you didn't do it on purpose." He replied with a low chuckle as he then went about to help her remove Niita. "And I remember them to and if they are good I will give them b..both a kiss as well." He continued trying to bribe the tentacles off of him.

Adhara couldn't help the soft chuckled that emerged from her throat as she felt her face gain another shade of red at the kiss to her forehead, though she was rather happy for it, herself. She gently bit at the corner of one of her own lips, trying to repress the irrepressible smile that the small kiss had caused, and it was bothering her just a little bit, to say the very least. The smile diminished just a bit when Adriel drew her attention back to pulling her tentacles off of him. Thankfully, the bribe seemed to work pretty well, as Niita released him rather abruptly, seeming to 'look' for something else that would keep it's interest that would still signify that it was 'being good'. Given their nature in general, however, that would be rather difficult.

Reena held reluctantly to Adriel's pointer finger, not wanting to relinquish it's hold. Given a moment, though, it released the boy's finger and nuzzled against his palm, before also trying to find something else of interest, settling itself by fixing small off things about Adhara's clothing. She smiled up at Adriel a little bit, glad that the blush on her face was dying down now. "Well, you're quite the business man," she commented, giggling a little bit at how easily the teen had gotten her tentacles to behave. "Anyways- what are you doing in here? Just looking at the old stuff?"
PostPosted: Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:43 am

Adriel smiled as both tentacles released him finally, he knew his own rather well and just assumed that if you give them what they want they tend to behave. For the most part anyway.

Chuckling at her comment about being a business man he only gave a half shrug. "Give them what they want and they tend to behave somewhat." he replied with a small smile.

"Oh...I decided to take a peak inhere since ...usually my tentacles would be too...'busy' and they would risk breaking something." He answered honestly.

Adhara smiled at that comment and nodded, writing it on a non-existent notepad in her mind that that would be a good way to get Reena and Niita to do what she wanted them to do rather than something else. The appendages in question were busy poking around at shelves and brushing dust off things, though Niita was far from scared of brushing up against Adriel's hip, or slipping through his hair on the off-chance that it fit in with it's choice of action. Frowning at this choice of actions, Adhara wiggled a finger at the appendage before pushing her glasses back up the bridge of her nose and smiling a bit at Adriel.

"I kinda know how you feel. I can't go to places with a lot of people because then they all get mad at me for my tentacles being all touchy-feely and stuff." It was only then that the little girl noticed the attention that she was getting from nearby shoppers, dirty looks included. She ruffled her feathers nervously and gave an awkward smile back at the other boy. "Then again, as interesting as this place is, maybe we should talk about this somewhere with... less of it's own population."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 15, 2009 11:19 am

Adriel could understand how she felt. He too often got looks of speculation as well hostility when he went into places...though perhaps it was because he was male...or just the fact the tentacles had no sense of personal space.

He briefly looked down at his hip where Niita brushed up against him as well when it slipped through his hair. He petted it but firmly pushed it away once done. He didn't want to get it in trouble either.

Some reason he now felt a bit ...sorry for his limbs...all limp as they were they would of enjoyed meeting with Adhara again.

"Yes perhaps we should move on...I wouldn't wan to risk breaking anything, some of this stuff is very rare and expensive." he murmured in response.

Adhara merely nodded a couple times when Adriel agreed with her idea, taking the other boy's hand and tugging him to the outside of the building, where there were less staring people and more who were just minding their own business. Grinning, she released Adriel's hand and stretched her arms skyward, wings stretching out as well. "It was all cramped in there anyways, 'sides the people who weren't minding their own business," the last of this statement was more mumbled than anything, as Noah usually got mad at her for making assumptions about other people. Really, though! They kept glancing over at the weird-looking kids in the antique store, who were ages apart and -by normal-people standards- wouldn't normally be talking to each other. Stupid people not minding themselves...

Large amber eyes glanced around the area, a few cars and a bus passing them by, before she looked back up at Adriel. "D'you have any idea of where we could go now?" she asked curiously, a slight smile on her face as she pushed her glasses back up. "'Cause I don't really know many places around here; me and Noah live kinda far away," she commented, chuckling a bit. "I took the bus out here."

Adriel looked her over as she stretched and envied her wings, they were so pretty. he took a deep breath of the fresh air, it had felt rather musty and cramped...she was right. As interesting a place it may of been it was very nice to get outside.

"A buss? Um...well...there is a movie theater...and a mall mal and a bunch of other places around. What do you want to do?" He inquired. He liked Adhara, she wasn't pushy or overly friendly either. She was cute too, that didn't hurt. Maybe he felt drawn to her cause she was similar to him. But...did that make her like a sister? He brushed the thought away...trying to think about genetics made his head hurt.

Adhara smiled and chuckled a bit at the rhetorical question, deciding to answer it even though it wasn't something that needed to be answered. "MmHmm. N- my dad rides the bus instead of driving, so I've ridden it since I was pretty small. Also, when I was younger, I decided to memorize the bus schedules when I was bored one day, so I can get almost anywhere now," she commented with a polite nod of the head, smiling calmly at the boy standing in front of her.

"Hmm... actually, the movies sound like they could be fun, depending on what the movie is," she said thoughtfully, nodding a bit. Usually, she would want to go to the mall, but that didn't sound very fun, given that was the last place she went with Adriel, and she went there a lot these days. No less, she'd never been to a movie theatre because she'd never been able to control her Diligence half well enough to sit still for that long. She might be able to make this work, though, which would be a good thing, she guessed. Plus, it would be fun to see a movie with Adriel, even if she would be fidgeting and whispering during most of it. She giggled sheepishly. "Of course, as long as you don't mind that I might have trouble being quiet through the whole thing."
