An isolated city, once promising greatness, it now lies in great ruin, buildings broken, streets blocked. The only way to make it from one side to the other easily is to fly. In the centre is a clearing, the buildings have been swept aside by some force unbeknowst to all.
The clearing is large enough to fit an army, though large chunks of metal lie in the centre. The chunks of metal used to be a fountain, it is now destroyed.
The city itself is not very big, perhaps 7 by 8 blocks, more of a town. The down is split almost through the middle by a river, there are 3 bridges crossing it. The entrances to the city are on opposite sides of the river, the only openings in the gargantuan wall the thickness of a bus (lengthwise). ((Eh... Ok enough))

You may be the best RPer in the world, but if your grammar sucks, to most, you're only a n00b.)) ((Night/Day?)) In the shadows an unnatural being lurked, a creature not meant for this earth. Nearing eight and a half feet and a weight that greatly surpassed a man, a beast vaguely resembling a lizard with fur and horns darted across rubble and asphalt alike. His claws drip with a deadly poison and his razor sharp teeth mesh perfectly in his mouth. This is hardly a man, though he once was. This is a killing machine. ((If you know of the game Fallout, you know of what I speak.))

((dusk? Just enough light to see if you squint. Thanks by the way)) Psy stood atop a broken building, he looked towards a bent satelite dish and pulled his hand away from it. This was his sanctuary where he could be alone. Chunks of metal flew towards him, melting together to form a rod of steel. Psy jumped off the roof as the rod made its way to his hand, he grabbed it and felt it jar him upward. He slowly fell to the ground, a block away from the clearing. Psy adjusted his coat and walked towards the clearing, he almost felt something was wrong...

((Great ^_^ Dusk and night are the times when a Deathclaw shines! ^_^))
The hulking shape darted through the shadows at the edge of the clearing, sniffing at the air and releasing great bursts of air from his gigantic lungs. A large black duffel bag had been secured on the beast's back, whatever it contained was rather large and had many magnets and metallic objects in it. Glimpses of the beast could be seen as he darted from one shadow to the next, stealing tactical glances at his opponent and his posessions, taking in scents, and trying to psyche out this master of metal.

((That duffle bag... If it isn't something sinister or if it's some attempt to give me an advantage I'll resent that... Oh well good to see you lol)) Psy, though slightly unnerved, focused his fierce eyes in one direction. Eventually the beast flickered into a view and Psy's hand shot out, in an attempt to fling the beast into the nearest wall. Psy lowered his hand and began establishing a link between himself and the nearest metal in the area. Psy felt almost happy, he found there to be metal in the now empty sewage pipes. A flicker of excitement showed in his eyes, but a simple blink shoved it below the surface.

Even a powerful mental thrust had dificulty in moving the great beast, and when it did it barrelled through a wall completely unharmed. The building wasn't so lucky. The already unstable building began to shudder, its coming collapse into the city square only aided by another wall taken out from under it by the creature's exit. One would hope the man could avoid having a building fall on him, it'd be a pity otherwise.
The beast retreated into the shadows once more, moving with inhuman speed.

Psy twitched, this wasn't going to be over as fast as he thought it would. He had to much dignity to dodge a giant candybar, Psy stood as the building collapsed upon him. Luckily, seconds before the building fell on him he wrenched the sewage pipe, thankfully clean, out of the ground and dove into the 'safe' ground. He began to rotate the pipe, a makeshift drill.
Psy burst from the building and rested on it, breathing in prescious air, he would have to rely more on his martial arts lest he ran out of energy.

As soon as the man burst from the building a great chunk of unreinforced concrete came flying at the man from the west. Another would soon follow it from the southwest, it seemed the Beast was giving away his position. After the second toss he would retreat again, leaving the black duffel bag due south of the man while he headed north. This beast's mind was an odd one. Two halves of a whole Chaos consumed them both, unable to let in any telepathy or allow for tracking through such means. The Beast was not in control, but the mind was utilized in order to absorb any psionics and disperse them within chaos.

Psy heard an item ripping through the wind, he seemed unphased, though his mind was in panic. he jumped to the left just enough to dodge the chunk of concrete, straining to find the duffle bag and pivoting in place. No time. A second chunk was upon him, instantly he lifted his knee under the chunk. At the same time Psy forced out his palms until they touched the chunk, he twisted, parrying the block. Salvation! The duffle bag was still, he drew his hands closer to himself and drew the oddly light bag towards him. His eyes flashed in surprise, there was no beast. He caught the bag and emptied it infront of him, it may help. His hands were throbbing, the beast was strong, he couldn't worry about that now. Where was the beast?

Kane tore across the rubble in a silent frenzy, moving as a blur of shadow and fur, his great footsteps falling lightly as he approached from the rear. As the duffel bad got close to Psy he'd find himself in a world of hurt. It was a Gattling Gauss, fully loaded and on remote control. Kane slammed his hand together in his dash and the weapon went off, nearly point blank. Kane would be upon Psy with poisoned razor sharp claws in moments, long after the high velocity projectile burst had finished, destroying the duffel bag.
((I'd note John is smart enough not to be in the path of projectiles going fast enough to tear an arm off by merely touching the hand.))

For the first time in months, Psy's eyes widened in disbelief. He threw himself backwards and hastily focused all his energies on stopping the bullets. Psy could probably stop the gattling gauss from a distance, but point blank he could only slow them to the equivalent of bean bags. Crap, he missed one. Psy felt the pullet plunge into his right quad. He fell down and clenched his leg... Water, he needed water. He felt hot breath on him and had half a second to roll, he got caught by the claws on his back. He had to find water, there was no other choice. He sprang up and flung the gattling and all the bullets he coudl mentally gather in random directions hoping desperately something would distract the beast, with only enough force to distract him at best. Psy took off like a bat out of hell, pain shot through his leg with every step, he wasn't going fast enough. The river was just outside the clearing and he was just off the centre of the clearing. Could he make it? His hand clenched a few bullets, as if they could help. ((alright... Thanks))

In any perfect reality the poison would quickly begin to paralize the man, leaving him at the mercy of The Beast. Regardless, Kane was faster than any normal man could ever hope to be, and much more agile to boot. The projectiles and weapon, having been slowed in the initial block, bounced off Kane's tough hide without any damage. Literally shrugging off the hit he took off after Psy, leaping over any rubble and obstructions to large to be thrown. Any that were would be scooped up and tosses, not unlike baseballs.

((You're gonna kill me... Well out of sheer honour probably not but death would be ensued)) Psy felt his body seizing up, he was having trouble focusing. He wouldn't show weakness, Psy felt a large brunt force to his shoulder. Coupled with the bullet wound, and the numbness Psy, who could no longer feel sharp pain, toppled over, just 6 feet from the river. Psy with a fluke spike of will, had the sewers Erupt in several tall spires of metal infront, behind, and generally everywhere, in hopes to disrupt the beasts stampede whilst Psy found he had a working arm, he began dragging himself towards the river. 4 feet left...

Kane slammed into the first metal barrier, leaving a rather large indentation, if not toppling it full out. Kane easily found a way around them. Over. Rubble was the first bit to find its way, mixed in with rock and dirt. A rain of death upon the poor man. What would come next would be Kane himself, having climbed the sewers by diggin in his claws and climbing as if it were a rock wall. If he landed on Psy it'd likely be enough weight to crush him.

Psy felt the sudden crushing weight on top of him, had he a belief in god he would've thanked him for the metal that he was straining to protect him, luckily any armour is stronger when Psy wills the very molecules to keep together fo ra bit longer. He was seeing black spots and losing the ability to see straight, his leg and back no longer hurt though. He stretched his hand, millimetres to the waters edge. The metal on his sleeve literally gripped his arm and dislocated it so that it reached the water, it was excruciating but not for much longer, he began to mix himself with the water. CRACK! Psy's back and legs broke, he was about to die. His thoughts became water, he was the water now. He slipped out from under the behemoth and dribbled to the water. He Materialized on the other side of the river, he hadn't gotten enough healing done. His bones were fixed, the poison was gone, but the gash and the bullet hole remained. He looked at the beast with fierce yellow eyes for the first time. ((Tell me if it's to cheap or something, I have a backup plan))
