So I hear from some that Kingdom Hearts is a lousy game, but I have other friends who are in :lurve: with it. As far as I can tell, you run around killing things with Goofy and Alladin...
What do you think about the game?

I thought it was fun but it could have been better including the gummi ships (they were terrible) if it was just given a few modifications it would have been great

Kindom hearts is freaken awsome. Sure, the disney characters are okay (goofy and donald mostly) but the bosses and story line is just so great. I really love it biggrin heart Lets just say, Axle is super hawt. Kinda like Reno (FFVII) only more serious. I love the red heads

my sisters been playing it off and on ever since she got it after christmas. shes really close to the end and even though I only played some mini games on it, I still loved to watch her play! Its exciting to me to see her bash a big belly or pulverize a pot spider. I just plain love the game mostly because it mixes FF characters and Disney characters. (I grew up worshipping Disney) But hey thats just me.

It really all depends on personal taste.
If you've ever been a fan of Enix's Final Fantasy games, it's probably something you'll enjoy, if only for the new character designs of the old favorites.
However, it isn't a turn based RPG, but rather has real-time combat.
Some RPG players find this a turn off.
I love the game myself. The combat system is much different than what you would see in an average RPG. The plot can be a bit confusing, but overall is very unique.
If you hate Disney, this would probably not be a game for you.
But I would definetly have to recomend at least giving it a shot.

I like it personally ^_^ I think it's a fairly decent combination of rpg/ fighter ^-^ ( also, I'm a "closet" disney freak* my bf is going to kill me for that.... u.u* ) It just depends. Not a game I'd like to play twice in a row though ( only exciting the first time) blaugh sweatdrop

I loved Kingdom Hearts. It's much more than running around and killing things with Goofy and Aladdin. XD
The story is deep and beautiful if you care to pay attention to what's going on. And Riku was so... twisted
But yes, it's a great game. PLay it, play it!!
KH:CoM is the followup... I haven't played it, but the battling system looks poor. stare It looks slow, to be exact, so I'll probably only buy it for the story's sake.
I'm looking much more forward to KHII !! <3 <3
(Only thing I hated in the game was Wakka's voice at the beginning of the game. LMFAO, horrible, horrible.)

I really absolutely enjoyed Kingdom Hearts, and can't wait for the next one. This comes from a person who can't really stand Disney (except for Stitch and the Emperor from the Emperor's New Groove. . .), so that's saying something.
They did a great job integrating the Final Fantasy and Disney characters (though I have to agree with Night about Wakka's voice. >.< ), I just wish there was more Final Fantasy involved. Super happy with the whole Squall, Cloud, Sephiroth thingie though.
. . . They need Vincent. ninja

RanmaSaotomeS I'm soooooo waiting for Kingdom Hearts 2 Yep me too! I loved Kingdom Hearts alot. The sneek preview for the second one is awesome but you have to collect and beat everything on the game to see the video clip.

NightDweller the only down side is the disney characters How so? I thought it was a great idea. Disney is under apperciated. It lead to every animation out there including anime.

KH is an amazing game. Most people who think it's childish completely missed the deep storyline, and the original characters in the game are some of the best Square has ever created. The Disney characters are only there for interaction and are in no way the focus of the game. Also, the game gets darker with the sequels, which makes it even more interesting.
