Fiereza sat quietly in the darkness, the moon slivered down between tree branches and reflected off the snowy lynx pelt she wore this eve. Her pups were not too far, she spotted them easily despite the darkness. Sly was hidden as usual but her nose told her he wasn't in any trouble. She struggled not to hover over her pups, she didn't want them to feel smothered, but she remained always open for them.
Lately she had felt a strange tug in her mind, the desire to go skinning, but there was nothing around that was dead...she would have to kill if she wanted to skin. She gave a soft sigh, the urge to kill had never troubled her before, but things were so different now, she loved her family, she didn't want to kill.
She murmured softly into the shadows her ruby eyes narrowed into the darkness. "Adolfo..."
Her voice was a gentle caress, love poured into it, she loved her mate for so many reasons. Now she needed to share her concerns with him, things were getting worse. She could feel an edge to everything, even the night was not it's usual calm self. The three packs that surrounded them were all at odd ends, and the silence that filled the days and nights was only a warning of the great storm to come. The cold was seeping into the land, winter had come, she felt the desire to move, not just herself... She wondered anxiously if Adolfo would come with her, let her bring her pups. Would he follow her, lead her? Or would his love for Vianna or his pack hold him to this dangerous land?

The shadow master moved back towards his home, the meeting with that vile female in the Reign of Terror had made him more edgy then he was even common with. Never had he, in all his season of living in the willow wanted to depart from the place he had grown up in. No, he had thought about leaving before Fie had birthed out six wonderful pups, their pups, but he was more troubled because he knew that the Reign of Terror would love to get their paws of Fie. She was excellent in her trade, Debora was learning quickly, though still not quiet to her mother's level.
His name was called out, not like a yell, but called out from Fiereza and his pace quicked. The shadows told him that their children were all safe and sound, the twins hadn't snuck off onto one of their adventures and well everyone was getting along just fine.
Adolfo's quick, but silent paws came to a slowed pace when he saw that even the dark wolfess who had take his heart in, was sound. At least physical.
"Fie?" the single word dripped with his love, but also his own edge. The shadows were restless and so he had been sleeping in only exhausting spurts. Something was in need of being done, and hopefully they could, should she wish it, move with out going into either territory, Agual Azul or the Reign. If he had too, he wouldn't mind going through Akiiki Chibale, but that would only be a last resort and at night. It was too open for them all to move during the day.

"Adolfo..." She gave a soft smile at the sight of her mate but her voice was weary as well, sleep was stolen from her in the day, and she could never manage it at night.
"I wanted to speak with you...I've been...worried." She sighed softly and looked down at her frosted paws. "Things have become worse all around us Adolfo..." She lifted her ruby eyes to meet his emerald gaze.
"I think we should go, our family needs a new home, a place where we can know we're safe. I know you love your family...I know leaving your pack might be hard...but please...I can't go without you...I don't want to tear apart the family..." It was not only love that bound her to him, but also the strange knowledge that if she left Adolfo she might give in, the dark monster within her might take over.

Adolfo listened to his mate's words, words that stung him so close to the heart he now knew that while he was trying to find a safe route out, it was what had been on Fie's mind too.
"Fie," he breathed out stepping forward to nuzzle her in only the way one could comfort a mate or a beloved. "You not the only one, my nights, since Isadora and Debora crossed paths with the alpha of the Reign, I've been scouting paths out of here." He confessed.
Yes, leaving Vianna would be painful, but he could always come back and look for her, pray for the shadows to watch out for her, but he wasn't going to put Fiereza or their pups in a place that was far to dangerous to live. Not on his selfish side.
He had to smile at some of her words though, "The pack my brother alphas isn't mine, I've looked out for them, watched the border, but I've kinda done the same thing for Akiiki Chibale. My brother and my sisters are split, but should we leave, I want to convince my mother and father to come with us. Mother doesn't have the mental stability for a war, and father is too...old and out of shape for one."
The ebony male sat down beside her, looking and watching their six strong children through the trees. "Even if they don't come, I'll leave with you. My love wouldn't allow for me to be seperated from you for too long of a time, not like when I went off to train. If my mother and father don't come, then they will be with Vianna in my thoughts, but I hold loyality to you more then anyone, Fie." He exhailed.

Fiereza breathed a sigh of relief at Aodlfo's words, she couldn't have hoped for a better response. She licked his muzzle and nodded sympathetic to his desire to get his parents away from the war as well. Even if it hadn't yet started, the animosity was thick and ready to spill over.
"I'll come with you to your parents, perhaps they'll want to come with us once they see their grandchildren...make a better life...a more peaceful life." She gazed at her pups, not too far off, so carefree. Her ears fell back and she looked at Adolfo.
"I would have stayed if you had wanted Adolfo...but the pack...the Reign...frightens me. I see so much of myself...of what I might still be...I'm just lucky to have you, your love." She tenderly nuzzled him.

Adolfo let a small half smile come to light his face, "Actually, I believe my mother was wanting to see everyone, who is willing to come to a gathering point. We could met up with her and my father prior to the gathering, or talk with them afterwards. That way Sly, Vegas, Isadora, Debora, Possum and Marion could actually meet their grandparents, instead of just hearing about them."
Curling his tail to wrap partly around Fie, the smile widened a tad, "I know you would have Fie." He turned and looked at her dark face and the ruby orbs inside of it, "I wouldn't want to force you to stay in a place that is unbalanced and a danger to you, or something that makes you uncomfortable."
His eyes then moved back towards the six pups playing blissfully among each other, "I wouldn't break up our family either for Twist and her war to take innocent and good lives. Besides, I think it's time to move on anyways, to land that isn't in pain or recoiling for the pain to come, but to possibly make a pack of our own." His eyes got a distant look as he spoke, but Adolfo turned his gaze back towards Fie.
"What do you think? A pack that is in the shadows, but offers solice to any who has the desire to be good."

Fie gave a soft nod, curious to meet Adolfo's parents and to see where her daughters bright orange coloration had descended from. She was wary about going into the Agua Azul lands when she had skirted and avoided them for so long, yet this meeting was important to Adolfo.
"Of course I'll come...I'm most curious to meet your parents." After all her own mother and father were long dead.
She listened and nuzzled him before looking up at him in mild surprise. "A pack of our own?" She thought about it for a few moments in silence, the idea sounded appealing, helping others as she had been helped. There was no need to drag them into the light and force them to be something they weren't.
"It's a noble idea Adolfo...we could really help others..." She smiled and licked her mates cheek tenderly. The thought of her pups having a pack to call their own, a family, the real support she had never had.

Her words had brightened his darkened mind. This was excellent, yes they ran the possibility of running across Vianna, but meeting with his parents was the most important thing, especially since his mother was suppose to be doing so well at the moment.
"I'm so relieved to hear that." He let a thankful smile come up to his maw, though it faded a bit at the second half of her sentence. "Don't have your hopes up to high, my parents are a bit...off. Or they were the last time I saw them." Talking about their heritage wasn't something that was big on conversation with the pair, no, their conversations dealt always more in with the shadows and well now their pups. Something that Adolfo had always enjoyed about Fie's company, painful memories wasn't something she would allow him to dwell on, no, not while he focused on keeping her happy and away from becoming what she feared when alone.
The ebony and ivory male lifted his snout up to lick at the side of her face. That was right before the nuzzle and her mildly surprised look at his suggestion of a pack.
His emerald eyes gazed at her, "It's been a thought." He confessed and sat idly as he waited for it to roll around in Fie's mind. He couldn't be a pack leader, not without her help, love and consent.
"So you like the idea?" the shaman inquired a twitch of his tail giving away at his relief at the way her sweet voice sounded about the idea.

She smiled and nodded giving him a reassuring nuzzle and lick. "Of course, the idea of a pack for our children to be safe and loved within, to feel a part of something. I would stand by your side against any hardship to see such a thing come to fruition."
She gazed toward Agua Azul and closed her eyes for a moment, she wondered if she would feel the urges again once she ran into more wolves. She had been so focused of late on her pups and her mate that the desire to skin had eased away slowly leaving her mind at peace in the darkness.
She looked back at Adolfo curiously her head tipping a bit "Will you invite your parents to join us in the endeavor to create a pack?" She did not often bring up his family, or his old pack, they pained him and she would not cause him pain for anything. Still perhaps the thought of pulling his mother and father away from Agua Azul had been on his mind. She knew that she would want to get her family away from the strange darkness in that pack before it ripped her family apart.
